Description
The invention relates to a reinforcing structure with Dickengradienten for fiber-reinforced plastics, which are suitable for extremely elongated components such. B. blades are used for wind turbines. The method, using known warp knitting machines with an attachable device, enables the production of belt-type reinforcements with thickness gradients.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
- - The manual storage of all z. B. 60 layers is characterized by high staff requirements and occupancy. The mold occupancy time is a major cost factor in rotor blade manufacturing.
- - The permissible tolerances of the positional deviation of the individual layers to each other are difficult to comply.
- - Cutting work over the mold is necessary.
In order to reduce the depositing effort by reducing the number of layers, it would be obvious to use extremely thick knitted layers, but this is ruled out as a result of the required fine-scale thickness grading.
Extremely thick knitted fabric layers with fine gradients in the range of zero-degree yarns are currently not available on warp knitting machines. From the prior art, no knitting machine is known, which allows automatic production of knitted fabrics with thickness grading by increasing or decreasing the number of layers of zero-degree threads.
Aufgabetask
The object is to provide a much thicker reinforcing structure for rotor blades, which consists of a plurality of superimposed zero-degree layers (standing-weft layers), which are graded in their thickness at predetermined intervals. Since the reinforcing structure for rotor blades is to be produced as an endless knitted fabric, the method of thickness grading must not only allow a reduction in thickness, but also a subsequent gradual increase in thickness. As a result of the extremely thick layers produced in this way, with starting and end regions graduated in thickness, it will be possible, instead of the previous 60 layers, to use only 6-12 layers in the future for molding, which leads to considerable time and cost savings.
The object is achieved by a reinforcing structure according to
Vorteile der LösungAdvantages of the solution
The reinforcing structure for rotor blades according to the invention has an approximately 5-10 times the number of weft layers in the zero-degree direction in comparison to the previously used structures with only one thread layer. As a result, only 6-12 layers instead of previously 60 layers must be introduced when documenting the form. By reducing the occupancy of the time required for the rotor blade production can be significantly reduced. The thickness grading of the new Reinforcing structure is effected by automatic removal or addition of thread layers, also referred to as thread systems, in the longitudinal direction of the knitted fabric or of the later rotor blade.
Another advantage of the new solution is the reduced material consumption and thus the lower mass of the rotor blade belts. According to the prior art, each individual layer is tied with a separate mesh thread and has a weft thread layer, which is not included in the calculation and only serves to stabilize the textile structure. By contrast, the multi-ply knitted fabric according to the invention has only one weft thread ply and one stitch thread over all plies.
There are also advantages in occupying the shape for the rotor blade belts. The exact positioning of the layers to each other is greatly facilitated because the number of depositing operations is reduced by the use of Mehrlagengewirken and the layers are already positioned within a Mehrlagengewirkes precise and reproducible to each other. Cutting over the mold is no longer necessary.
By means of the associated knitting method, an automatic separation, separation and feeding of the zero-degree thread systems on freely selectable knit sections is made possible in connection with an attachable device.
The method can also be used for other knitted fabrics in which standing weft threads have to be removed or fed back.

The reinsertion of the weft threads is done by eliminating the evasive movement of the standing weft yarns to the jersey, at the same time the weft yarn delivery is activated. This process must be done from the inside out. Another advantage is that the work can be done without any problems while the machine is running.
