Description
Technisches Gebiet Technical area
Die Erfindung betrifft leitfähige Klebstoffe. The invention relates to conductive adhesives.
Stand der Technik State of the art
As used herein, conductive anisotropic nanomaterials are understood to be conductive nanoscale structures that have at least one dimension <500 nm, typically less than 100 nm, with at least one other dimension not being identical to the first, with an extension direction in the nanometer range while the extension is in the other spatial direction in the micrometer range. Here, the term conductivity includes both electrical and thermal conductivity.
The nanostructures can have different shapes and geometries. Typical examples are conductive nanowires or conductive nanotubes with a diameter <500 nm, preferably <100 nm and a length between 1-500 μm, typically between 10-50 μm.
The conductive nanostructures consist of metals, metal oxides, inorganic and organic semiconductors or carbon structures such as graphene and carbon nanotubes (CNTs).
For example, CNTs can be produced by various methods, such as the arc process, the laser ablation process and the catalytically assisted vapor deposition.
With respect to conductive applications, metallic nanowires are particularly advantageous. Preferred metals here are copper, nickel, silver, gold, aluminum, palladium and platinum. This includes conductive metal-clad nanomaterials, metal alloys, multilayer structures, and tubes.
Aus dem Stand der Technik ist z. B. die Herstellung von Silbernanodrähten bekannt. Neben umfangreicher wissenschaftlicher Literatur (z.B.

Klebstoffe und photoaktive Klebstoffe Adhesives and photoactive adhesives
In principle, a distinction is made between organic and inorganic adhesives or resins, with only organic adhesives being relevant for the embodiments according to the invention.
The organic adhesives, in turn, can be divided into 1-component and multi-component adhesives.
In the case of multicomponent adhesives, at least two components are combined in a defined ratio, the ingredients of the mixture react with one another and form the corresponding resin or adhesive.
By contrast, one-component systems may contain solvents (including water) and cure by evaporation of the solvent and / or by polymerization or crosslinking. This process can be accelerated by increasing the temperature.
Similarly, thermosetting adhesives and hot melt adhesives are known.
Another important class of 1-component adhesives involves photoinduced curing. Photoactive adhesive and polymer systems cure by irradiation with light.
The term photoactive ingredient refers to an ingredient that undergoes a photoreaction upon exposure to light (in the ultraviolet or visible range) and produces highly reactive species in the course of this immediate reaction.
The light irradiation here includes the ultraviolet (10-400 nm), the visible (400-750 nm) and the infrared wavelength range (780 nm-1 mm).
The highly reactive species are, for example, free radicals, as well as reactive cations and anions, without restricting the highly reactive species to these examples.
The highly reactive species is referred to as a photoinitiator. Typical photoactive adhesive and polymer systems include a polymeric binder system, a photoinitiator, a crosslinking polymer system, and a solvent.
The crosslinking polymer system is a polymer that forms chemical bonds between one or more polymer chains in the presence of a photoactivated photoinitiator.
By type and proportion of the polymeric binder system rheological parameters (viscosity, wetting properties, shear-dependent parameters) can be adjusted specifically. The polymeric binder system is typically miscible with polar or apolar solvents or can also be used in solvent-free form.
The crosslinking polymer typically changes properties during the crosslinking process. For example, during the cross-linking process, the viscosity and adhesive properties may increase, as well as the solubility in a solvent used decrease.
The polymeric binders and crosslinking materials used may be, for example, but not limited to, polyurethanes, polyisocyanates, epoxies, polyimides, polysilicones, polyacrylates, and polyacrylamides.
The process triggered by the photoinitiator and the light is called photopolymerization. Both radical and cationic photoinitiators can be used.
In
As a conductive filler in adhesives usually conductive metals such as silver, copper, gold or aluminum are used, and carbon, carbon black, graphite or CNTs and mixtures thereof.
In the case of metal- and noble metal-based pastes, a very high degree of filling is necessary, generally> 60% by weight, preferably between 70-85% by weight. Curing is preferably effected by temperature, or by mixing two components, combined with a curing time defined at a given temperature.
Due to the high degree of filling a photo-induced curing is not possible because there is no sufficient transparency in the UV or visible range.
Due to the required high degree of filling, the adhesive and binder systems based on conductive metals are highly viscous formulations and pastes.
Due to the high degree of filling, the original properties of the matrix, such as viscosity, mechanical stability, curing conditions, elasticity and others, are significantly influenced and can not be retained.
In addition, the use of metal pastes is known in which a sintering is achieved by evaporation of a high-boiling solvent after the application. This represents a special case of the above binder and Polymer system, since the binding system evaporates after the application process and the metal is present in elemental form, the adhesion is achieved by the sintering process.
So beschreibt
Compared to metals and precious metals like silver, the fillers carbon black, graphite or carbon nanotubes can only achieve much lower conductivities. The conductivities described in the present invention are not possible with these fillers at a comparable application thickness.
Curing of these and similar formulations under the action of light (in the ultraviolet and / or in the visible range) at room temperature is not described. This is due to the lack of sufficient transparency (in the ultraviolet and / or in the visible range) of the formulations, due to the high degree of filling of conductive additive.
With thermosetting adhesives is a disadvantage that certain components or materials are exposed to elevated temperatures and thus increased thermal stress. Sensitive thermolabile components can not be bonded with thermosetting adhesive and polymer systems.
2-component systems have both increased storage costs, before applying a mixing of two components is necessary, the processing time after mixing is limited. This makes this option extremely ineffective.
In room temperature curing variants, the pot life is limited, the curing process takes a relatively long time.
Above all, however, in the case of conductive bonding or contacting, for example of components, large throughput quantities are generally advantageous and the conventional curing methods frequently limit the production process.
There is therefore still a need for conductive adhesives that can be cured easily, safely, easily and with consistent quality.
Darstellung der Erfindung Presentation of the invention
This is where the invention starts. The invention, as characterized in the claims, the object is to provide a conductive adhesive available that can be cured easily, safely, easily and with constant quality.
This object is achieved by the conductive adhesive according to claim 1. Further advantageous details, aspects and embodiments of the present invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description, the examples and the figures.
The present invention provides a conductive adhesive comprising at least one kind of anisotropic conductive nanomaterial and at least one kind of photoinduced polymerizable material.
The conductive adhesive according to the invention overcomes the aforementioned disadvantages of the prior art by providing conductive adhesive and polymer systems which can be photoinduced, preferably cured in the entire spectral range, particularly preferably in the visible and UV spectral range.
In particular, the object of the invention is to describe advantageous materials which are suitable for the conductive functionalization of photoactive adhesive and polymer systems.
The term adhesive and polymer systems, as used herein, is understood as meaning formulations which contain additives in monomeric, oligomeric and / or polymeric form or mixtures thereof. Depending on the embodiment, the additives can be used in polar solvents, in apolar solvents or in pure form. Additionally, in many preferred embodiments of the adhesive and polymer systems, dispersing aids, wetting agents, photoinitiators, corrosion inhibitors, monomers, oligomers and polymers are included.
In order to enable a photo-induced curing, the object of the invention is to provide conductive adhesive and polymer systems which have a low degree of filling of conductive structures, so that photo-induced curing is made possible due to the transparency.
Furthermore, the object of certain embodiments of the invention is to maintain the original positive properties of the adhesive matrix. According to the present invention, conductive adhesive and polymer systems are provided whose rheological properties can be adjusted specifically before the curing process. In particular, numerous embodiments of the invention make it possible to produce highly viscous and low-viscosity adhesive and polymer systems which cure by photoinduction and have electrical conductivity after curing. Particular embodiments of the invention allow for photoinduced curing at room temperature.
In general, all anisotropic intrinsically conductive nanomaterials are suitable for overcoming the prior art. As used herein, conductive anisotropic nanomaterials are understood to be conductive nanoscale structures having at least one dimension <500 nm, typically less than 100 nm, wherein at least another dimension is not identical to the first, with an extension direction in the nanometer range, while the Expansion in the other spatial direction in the micrometer range is located.
In preferred embodiments of the invention, metallic anisotropic nanomaterials are used. The metals copper, nickel, cobalt, silver, gold, aluminum, palladium and platinum and alloys thereof are particularly preferred.
Particularly preferred are intrinsically conductive metallic nanowires. In this document, the term "nanowire" refers to all structures which have similar extensions in the range from 1 nm to 1000 nm in at least two spatial directions and have an extension of at least 5 times the other two dimensions in the third spatial direction.
