Abstract

The connector has a bilaterally opened metal tube (2a) with a unidirectionally opened hollow space for a bilateral electrical contact connection. A metal part is provided for a unilateral electrical contact connection. A contact mass (3) is hardened by receiving oxygen and inserted into the metal tube or the hollow space. A casing (1) is made of an electrically insulating and oxygen-tight plastic for the contact mass. A cable (5) is made of metal and inserted into the contact mass. A volume change of the contact mass is detected by the casing.

Description

Lüsterklemmen o. a..The Contacts in the field of electrical engineering are produced by so-called luster terminals o. a ..

These Contacts are characterized by the fact that they are screwed by the Cable come to an electrical contact.

These clamps are inexpensive, but have two disadvantages:
  • a) the respective screwing is time consuming.
  • b) due to the fact that often insufficient tightening takes place, the fitting becomes inoperable after some time due to lack of contact.

The publication DE 1 765 272 A shows an electrical connection between two conductors such that the conductor ends are inserted into a metallic tube, and this tube is filled with a conductive adhesive. Subsequently, an electrical insulation of the connection.

In der Druckschrift BE 508 961 A werden zwei Leiterenden in einem Röhrchen mittels einer Lötverbindung kontaktiert, die verfahrensbedingt eine Wärmequelle für die Kontaktierung erfordert. In the publication BE 508 961 A For example, two conductor ends are contacted in a tube by means of a solder connection, which requires a heat source for the contacting due to the method.

The publication GB 1 333 741 A shows an electrical connection of a conductor with a cable lug, in which a crimping process is supported by the use of a two-component adhesive.

The invention is to provide an electrical connection, which overcome the mentioned disadvantages. The task is solved by the fixed electrically conductive connector according to claim 1 solved.

Dabei wird die Verschraubung durch eine Steckverbindung ersetzt.there the gland is replaced by a plug connection.

The plug connection has to be designed
that a firm connection is created, which allows the continuity of the current,
as if the compound were solid metallic (eg soldered).

The connection is made as follows:
The production is explained using the example "improved luster terminal". All other applications such. B. predetermined inserts, which should be designed as a solid connector, are of course possible. Furthermore, of course, built-in parts can be produced with a single-sided electrolytic connection.
  • - Preparation of a good conductive metal tube.
  • - Backfilling with a metallic, ie good electrically conductive material (contact mass).
  • - Sheath with plastic protection multi-functional, ie not electrically conductive, oxygen-tight, stable, elastic in the head area.

The Length of the metal tube is then to determine how good the conductivity of the contact mass. If z. As the conductivity the contact mass only 80% of the conductivity of the metal conductor of the corresponding cable, the contact area must be increased accordingly, d. H. extended become. Furthermore, the strength plays in the cured state also in the choice of the length of the metal tube a role.

The Connection is made after stripping the cable to be connected by plugging into the pipe opening, d. H. through the plastic casing. After opening the plastic jacket created by inserting the cable into the existing contact mass a secure conductive connection.

The contact mass must be designed according to the following specifications:
  • a) When making the clamp, the contact mass must be so plastic that it can not flow out.
  • b) The contact mass must be such that a contact-safe connection between the contact mass, the inner surface of the metal tube and the inserted cable arises immediately after insertion.
  • c) By applying the plastic coating, the entire terminal is to be brought under contact with air under exclusion of air. Thus, the contact mass is completed and does not harden. It is of course important to ensure that air can not immigrate (diffusion).
  • d) The contact mass must be designed in such a way that the following criteria can additionally be fulfilled: - The plastic state is maintained. - After inserting the stripped cable, the plastic cover - through which the cable is inserted - opens and absorbs oxygen. - By absorbing oxygen hardens the contact mass. Here, a curing time must be designed so that a change during the assembly process is still possible. The curing time must be adjusted (in minutes or hours) so that a solid, no longer detachable compound has formed after hardening. - After curing, the compound is a non-positive and normally electrically conductive connection. If a hardened connection needs to be changed later, cut off the cable before the connection and behind the connection stripping and re-insulation with a new "electrolytic connection". Possibly, the consistency of the contact mass may be chosen so that it is slightly compressed due to low porosity by the insertion of the cable and thus the volume change does not cause the contact mass is pushed out during insertion.
  • e) An essential point of the "electrolytic connection" is therefore the contact mass. It lends itself to: - Contact compound of metal dust and binder. - Contact mass of highly electrically conductive plastic, here there are z. B. Carbon fiber-like materials that fulfill this purpose. - Contact material of pure metal, which is plastic. This is z. B. possible with the addition of mercury. Unfortunately, this is probably difficult because of the toxic properties of mercury. Possibly. however, metal dust can be used with small amounts of mercury or other metal.

A volume change the contact mass must be absorbed by the plastic coating, without the mass pushing out, otherwise the insulation is not complete.
