Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pinolenspindel mit im wesentlichen rechtwinklig zur Spindelachse eingeleitetem Spindelantrieb. Derartige Pinolenspindeln sind beispielsweise in den Vertikalapparaten von Universalfraesmaschinen angeordnet. Die Erfindung sieht in Hoehe des Spindelantriebes eine Abflachung oder Aussparung der Pinole vor, welche dem Antriebskegelrad fuer die Spindel Raum gibt. Das Abtriebskegelrad weist einen Druchmesser auf, der gleich grosz oder kleiner als der Auszendurchmesser der Pinole ist. Gelagert ist die Spindel in der Pinole nur an deren der Spindelstirn naechstliegendem Ende (Festlager) und andererseits auszerhalb der Pinole (Loslager).
