Charakteristik der bekannten technischen LösungenCharacteristic of the known technical solutions
A., Fitzpatrick, T. B., JAMA19411965] 117-119; Standau, H., MecSlcamentum 14 (1973) 137-138).The treatment of the various pigmentary anomalies of the skin, which are usually exacerbated under UV exposure, is still completely inadequate. This concerns polyetiological, various hyperpigmentations, vitiligo combined with hyperpigmentation, as well as benign localized pigment aggregates or pigmented neoplasms - ephelides, nevi spili, nevus zellnaevi u.a.m. For depigmentation, agents with hydroquinone or hydroquinone monobenzyl ether as active ingredients are available today. In hydroquinone-containing agents, 64 to 83% of treated patients show effective lightening after one to three months of treatment (Fitzpatrick, T.L. et al., Arch. Dermatol 93 (1966) 689-600, Spencer, MC, JAMA194 [19651962-967 ), but not complete depigmentation. Prolonged treatment, especially with higher concentrations, can cause maturation and confetti-like hyperpigmentation (Arndt, K.A., Fitzpatrick, T.B., JAMA 19411965) 117-119, Standau, H., MecSlcamentum 14 (1973) 137-138).
Dermatol. 77 [1958] 220-223; Dorsey, CS., Arch. Dermatol. 81 [1960) 245-248) kann MBH auch systemisch wirken und neben Übelkeit und Erbrechen zu Vitiligoherden am gesamten Integument führen (Jadassohn, W., Paillard, R., Dermatologica 121 [I960] 124-125; Schoopflocher, P., Hautarzt 16 [1965) 105-108).Hydroquinone mono-benzyl ether (MBH) has been used therapeutically in concentrations between 1 and 20%. Although good to very good results have been described in the treatment of pigmentary anomalies (Berowa, N., Z. Skin and Sexual Disease 36 [1964] 317-319; Jung, HD, Z. Skin and Sex Disease 42 [1976] 711- 716), undesirable consequences during treatment are not uncommon. In addition to contact eczema with subsequent "confetti" vitiligo or leuco-melanoderma (Balabanow, K., et al., Aesthet Med., 17 (1968) 233; Canizares, O. et al., Arch. Dermatol., 77 [1958] 220-223; Dorsey, CS., Arch. Dermatol., 81 [1960] 245-248), MBH may also act systemically and, in addition to nausea and vomiting, lead to vitiligo centers on the entire integument (Jadassohn, W., Paillard, R., Dermatologica 121 [I960] 124-125; Schoopflocher, P., dermatologist 16 [1965] 105-108).
Also of 4-isopropylcatechol are described on human skin in hyperpigmentation very good depigmenting properties. In the trial of a 1% and 3% ointment especially patients with chloasma after about 3 months of treatment showed a clear lightening effect, which had not been achieved in a part of previously used hydroquinone or MBH ointments (Brit. Patent 1322009; , SS, Brit. J. Dermatol. 94 [1976] 687-694; Bleehen, SS et al., J. Invest. Dermatol. 50 (1968) 103-117). Side effects such as erythema and scaling occurred in 30% of patients. In a few patients, a stronger Kontalitekzem.
Patent 60092 [1982]).As a depigmenting agent for local application fatty acid esters of hydroquinone have recently been proposed, for. Hydroquinone monopalmitate and hydroquinone dibutyral (European Patent 60092 [1982]).
Monatsschr. 162 [1976] 974-979).In addition, a large number of substances having a depigmenting action are known, which due to their high toxicity lead to severe skin irritation or systemic side effects and are consequently unsuitable for therapeutic use (bridle rope, RP, Wohlrab, W., Dermatol, Monatsschr. 1976] 974-979).
