Abstract

Die Erfindung hat die Aufgabe, Schutzkontaktsteckdosen mit einem besonderen Schutz gegen eindringendes Wasser ohne zusaetzlichen Klappdeckel auszustatten. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die gemeinsame Anordnung folgender Merkmale geloest:- Abschottung der seitlichen Schenkel der Schutzkontakte (9) und ihrer Durchtrittsoeffnungen (5) in den Steckertopf (20) der Abdeckung (1),-Anordnung eines Beruehrungsschutz-Sperriegels (3) in einem Bodenraum (2) der Abdeckunmg (1) vor den Steckerstiftdurchfuehrungsoeffnungen (4),-Anordnung von Wasserablaufkanaelen (6; 8) von den umschotteten Raeumen (2; 15) zur Vorderseite (7) der Abdeckung (1),-Umwandung (11) der Basis (12) des Schutzkontaktes (9) durch Sockelwaende (11) bis zum Boden (19) der Abdeckung (1) und-Zwischenlage eines elastischen Dichtungsstueckes (13) zwischem dem Boden (19) der Abdeckung (1), der Basis (12) des Schutzkontaktes (9) und einer sockelseitigen Umwandung (11). Zur Verhinderung des Wassereindringens in das Innere der Steckdose werden die Steckdosen in allgemein bekannter Weise mit selbsttätig schließenden Klappdeckeln versehen. Nicht zuletzt stellt der Klappdeckel einen zusätzlichen Materialaufwand dar. Darüberhinaus ist es bekannt, elektrische Installationsgeräte durch elastische Dichtungsmittel gegen Feuchtigkeit zu schützen. In der Steckdosenabdeckung 1 ist nach Fig. 1 in dem allseitig bis auf die Steckerstiftdurchführungsöffnungen 4 umschlossenen Bodenraum 2 ein zwangsläufig wirkender Berührungsschutz-Sperriegel 3 untergebracht. Dieser deckt die Steckerstiftdurchführungsöffnungen 4 ab. Der Bodenraum 2 ist mit der Durchtrittsöffnung 5 des Schutzkontaktes 9 durch den Boden 19 der Abdeckung 1 durch einen Kanal 6 verbunden. Die Durchtrittsöffnung 5 des Schutzkontaktes 9 im Boden 19 und in der seitlichen Steckertopfwand 21 der Abdeckung 1 ist außen mit einer Wandung 22 u-förmigen Querschnitts mit den Abmessungen a, b und c umgeben, die sich von der Unterseite des Bodens 19 bis zum Kragen 23 der Abdeckung 1 erstreckt. Der Schutzkontakt 9 tritt mit seinem seitlichen Schenkel durch die Durchtrittsöffnung 5 hindurch, welche an der Unterseite des Bodens 19 mit einer Rippe 24 umgeben ist. Die Rippe 24 und die Wandung 22 bilden bodenseitig eine ebene Begrenzungsfläche um die Durchtrittsöffnung 5 an der Bodenunterseite 19. Die durch die Wandung 22 erreichte Umschottung des seitlichen Schenkels des Schutzkontaktes 9 ist durch den Wasserablauf kanal 8 mit der Vorderseite 7 der Abdeckung 1 verbunden. Am Gerätesockel 10 ist um den Schutzkontakt 9 herum eine u-förmige Umwandung 11 mit den Maßen a, b und c angeordnet, die gleich den entsprechenden Maßen a, b und c der Wandungen 22 an der Abdeckung 1 sind. Auf die Basis 12 des Schutzkontaktes 9 ist ein elastisches Dichtungsstück 13 aufgesetzt, dessen flanschartig an 3 Seiten vorspringende Platte 14 zwischen der sockelseitigen Umwandung 11 des Schutzkontaktes 9 und den Begrenzungsflächen 16dert-fömigen Durchtrittsöffnung 5 des Schutzkontaktes 9 an der Bodenunterseite 19 der Abdeckung 1 liegt. Der seitliche Schenkel des Schutzkontaktes 9 greift in den einseitig offenen Schlitz 18 an der vorspringenden Seite 17 der Platte 14 und wird von diesem eng umfaßt.
