Abstract
The invention relates to a method for increasing the activity of immobilized on organic carrier material enzymes. goal of Invention is to increase the activity of immobilized enzymes increase the effectiveness of the 3iokatalysatoren. there should not stability and particle size of the carrier-enzyme complexes to be changed. Immobilized enzymes are called heterogeneous catalysts in the production or transformation of organic chemical Connections used. In order to obtain immobilized high activity enzyme-immobilized enzymes, carriers are used to fix enzymes that have a high protein binding capacity. In addition to .bin cell loading, the activity of an immobilized enzyme depends on the particle size and texture (pore, surface) of the carrier.
Ss ist bekannt, daß mit abnehmender Partikelgröße des^ Trägers die Aktivität des 'immobilisierten Enzyms steigt (B. (J. Carlsson, E. Axen, 0?· Unge, 1975), Ευχ, JV Biochem. J>2j 567 - 572). .(Carlsson, E. Axen, O. Unge, 1975), Ευχ, JV Biochem. J> 2j 567 - 572). Particle size reduction as a method for increasing activity is unfavorable on the technical scale in terms of the use of immobilized enzymes, since mechanically stable carriers with particle diameters of about 0.5 msi are required for reactors, in particular packed column reactors. 1 min complicate filtration processes and limit the flow rate in packed column reactors «. ,
It is also known to increase the activity of porous glass as the enzyme carrier by the action of ultrasound (DI-OS 1 905 681 and US Pat. No. 3,802,997). Porous glass is cleaned by ultrasound, resulting in an increase in the number of binding sites

The aim of the invention is to increase the activity of immobilized enzymes in order to achieve a higher degree of utilization of these catalysts. With regard to an application on an industrial scale, the stability and particle size of the immobilized enzymes should not be significantly changed,
e) Darlegung des Wesens der Erfindunge) Presentation of the essence of the invention
It is the object of the invention to increase the ability to bind to the acid by physical treatment of the organic carrier material without reducing the usefulness of the immobilized enzymes on an industrial scale.
It has been found that ultrasonication of the enzyme carrier used in the enzyme binding results in the desired result. The carrier material used is, for example, a weakly basic anion exchanger based on polystyrene (particle diameter 0.3 - P 5 5-am), which is covalently bound to the C 1 -amine. The binding of the enzyme to the polystyrene support will cause the suspension suspended in water.
The sound is carried out at 20 to 800 kHz, for example at 22 kHz and at a sonication time of 1 to 30 minutes. The comparison with an untreated carrier sample shows that the stability and grain size of the sonicated carrier are not significantly changed.
Due to the cavitative effect of ultrasound, a higher surface porosity is achieved on the organic support in comparison to the untreated support. The surface change can be detected by scanning electron micrographs.
