Oblast technikyTechnical field
The technical solution relates to equipment for thermal and mechanical protection of detectors for non-contact temperature measurement in plants in which extreme temperatures have to be measured by contactless infrared temperature sensors in extreme industrial conditions.
To measure extreme temperatures, contactless infrared temperature sensors are used to evaluate the surface temperature of the measured object based on its radiated IR energy. These sensors usually consist of a measuring optical head (detector) and an electronic part of the device.
Elektronická část zařízení slouží k převodu měřeného signálu do požadovaného tvaru, umožňuje jeho další zpracování, například přenos do měřicí ústředny a PC, případně má další funkce, například napájení. Optická část zařízení je s elektronickou jednotkou spojena kabelem o požadované délce. The optical head is a functional member of the measuring device that detects the measured surface. The electronic part of the device is used to convert the measured signal into the required shape, it enables its further processing, for example transmission to the measuring center and PC, or it has other functions, such as power supply. The optical part of the device is connected to the electronic unit with a cable of the required length.
The optical part of the device can have different measurement needs: temperature ranges, wavelengths, optical resolution and the like. This part of the device is aimed at the object being measured and in case of measuring objects with high temperatures for short distances (the distance from the measured object determines the size of the analyzed area) it is exposed to direct radiation of the measured object or other objects of high temperature in the surroundings. As a result, the temperature of the detector could rise above the accessible radiation due to radiation and could damage the detector. After use in industrial environments, this part is also most at risk from other influences, which may cause a limitation of its functionality, for example due to dust clogging or mechanical damage, such as flying oculars, entrainment of moving line components and the like.
Up to now, air or air blowing with water cooling is used to protect the detector, the sensor itself, keep the optics clean and protect it from overheating due to radiation from the object being measured. For this purpose, special air blow caps are used to prevent unwanted overheating of the detector and to protect against smoke, dust, exhaust gases and other contaminants.
This solution is useful in some cases, but the need for a clean compressed air supply is a complication. They must be technically clean, oil-free air. This requires the use of a compressor and a compressed air system, which is difficult to implement and inefficient in industrial applications with multiple measuring units distributed over long distances.
Podstata technického řešeníThe essence of the technical solution
The above drawbacks are largely eliminated by the thermal and mechanical protection devices of the contactless temperature detectors of a tripod fan and filter incorporating a tripod and consisting of a top and a bottom that are mutually releasably connected to the front part with the sight glass, the rear part with the fan and the filter and the side walls. Holes for cable routing and holes for alternative mounting of the bracket are made in the lower part.
Grooves may be provided in the holder for smoothly moving the holder.
The advantage of the device for thermal and mechanical protection of detectors for non-contact temperature measurement according to the technical solution is the possibility of measuring high temperatures in industrial environment, for example measuring the temperature of the charge in the operation of ironworks, when the temperature of the charge reaches 1200 ° C and when the measuring device itself is from the hot charge placed at a distance of 1-2 meters.

The advantage of the device according to the technical solution is also the possibility of interconnecting several detectors for simultaneous measurement in more places. At the same time, these places can be several tens of meters apart.

Praktické provedení zařízení pro tepelnou a mechanickou ochranu detektorů pro bezkontaktní io měření teplot podle technického řešení je patmé z přiložených obrázků, které zobrazují zařízeníThe practical design of the device for thermal and mechanical protection of the detectors for contactless and temperature measurement according to the technical solution is one of the attached pictures that show the device
IRTC-BOX umožňující bezkontaktní měření vsázky v provozu železáren.IRTC-BOX allows contactless measurement of charge in the operation of ironworks.
Robustní hliníková konstrukce stativu 15 zaručuje dobrou stabilitu, povrchové a tepelné vlastnosti jeho materiálu pak vysokou odrazivost (nízký ohřev vlivem tepelného radiačního záření) a dobrý rozvod tepla. The tripod 15 is a robust aluminum structure without the presence of plastic parts that could possibly be damaged by the heat radiation from the object being measured. Tripod 15 allows detector 1 to be aligned in three axes (height, forward / backward tilt, and axis rotation). The bottom of tripod 15 is equipped with a tripod with height adjustable feet. The robust aluminum construction of the tripod 15 guarantees good stability, surface and thermal properties of its material then high reflectivity (low heating due to thermal radiation) and good heat distribution. The structure is also modular, which means that individual parts can be replaced by others for the application as needed. For example, a longer pull-out bar for a higher detector location 1 may be an example.
V držáku 5 jsou zhotoveny drážky 12 pro jemný posuv držáku 5.Fig. 1 shows a protective box 2 which consists of a top part 3 and a bottom part 14. Both parts 13, 14 are releasably connected to each other by a front part 3 with a window 4, a rear part 7 with a fan 8 and a filter 9 and side walls 6 In the lower part 14 a cable opening W is provided and the holes H are provided for an alternative positioning of the holder 5. The holder 5 with the detector 1 is also detachably connected to the lower part 14. In the holder 5 grooves 12 are provided for the gentle movement of the holder 5.
All parts 13, 14, 3.7 and side walls 6 are made of solid aluminum material that protects detector 1 from mechanical damage. The high reflectivity of its surface reduces heating due to radiation heat flux and conductive properties ensure heat dissipation to other parts of the equipment that are not exposed to radiant heat and subsequently to the environment. The detector 1 "sees" a sample 4 in the front part 3 on the sample to be measured. A fan 8 is installed in the rear part 7, which blows cool air into the protective box 2 and cools its interior and the detector 1. The air flow from the fan 8 passes through the built-in filter 9, which retains dust and prevents clogging of the detector lens 1. Filter 9 is necessary because heavy industrial operations are highly dusty. Inside the protective box 2, the detector 1 is placed on a holder 5, which is fastened by screws to the lower part 14. By means of the pre-drilled holes 11 for the alternative positioning of the holder 5, it is possible to roughly move the holder 5 along the entire length of the inner part of the protective box 2. The holder 5, which is provided in the holder 5 itself, allows a gentle displacement of the holder 5 with the detector 1. The cables of the detector 1 are led out through the cable opening 10. Cables for the control panel as well as cables for connection to the communication module are shielded.
Veli45 kost samotného detektoru je přibližně 15 x 30 mm.The electronic unit of the detector 1 is placed in a plastic box together with a measuring module which serves to record the measured data transferred by the electronic unit to the thermocouple signal. The data logger thus created is then connected to the communication module via a cable. The detector's bone size is approximately 15 x 30 mm.
