Abstract
Se proporcionan un método y un aparato para la comunicación inalámbrica. En un aspecto, el aparato puede ser un equipo de usuario (UE), una estación base, o un punto de acceso. El aparato emite información de descubrimiento de pares en una estructura de datos de expresión de alto nivel que soporta múltiples tecnologías de descubrimiento de una variedad de redes inalámbricas. Por el uso de los datos de expresión de alto nivel, el aparato puede utilizar una única interfaz de programación de aplicación de descubrimiento unificada para la señalización de la presencia de cualquier información de descubrimiento en la tecnología transversal complementaria a medida que dicha información estaba disponible. En otro aspecto, el aparato puede ser un UE. El aparato recibe los datos de expresión de alto nivel emitidos en una señal de descubrimiento de pares y procesa los datos.
