Abstract

Una estructura de barrera permeable al aire, sustancialmenteimpermeable al líquido caracterizada porque comprende por lo menos una capa porosa que tiene lados opuestos, estando constituida la capa porosa por: un sustrato que tiene poros que se extienden entre los lados opuestos, que corresponden a los lados opuestos de la capa porosa; de manera que un líquido pueda atravesar el sustrato: y partículas que están fundidas a al menos un lado del sustrato poroso, a fin de resistir la entrada del líquido a los poros; en donde la capa porosa resiste sustancialmente la penetración por el líquido cuando está contenida en un producto absorbente de prueba que queda encima del primer lado de la capa porosa, al que están fundidas las partículas bajo una carga de 0.07 kg/cm2 , y donde la capa porosa tiene un valor Frazier de permeabilidad al aire que está en la escala de más de cero hasta alrededor de 861 mm3 / m2 /minuto.Adicionalmente se relaciona con un producto absorbente, que tiene bordes longitudinales opuestos y bordes transversales opuestos, y que comprende una lámina permeable al líquido, orientada hacia el cuerpo, una barrera permeable al aire, sustancialmente permeable al líquido orientada hacia una prenda íntima, y una estructura absorbente intermedia.
