Abstract

Un artículo absorbente (1), destinado a la absorción de fluidosdel cuerpo, que tiene una dirección longitudinal y una dirección transversal y que exhibe una superficie permeable a los líquidos (2), una superficie impermeable a los líquidos (3), un cuerpo absorbente (4) dispuesto entre las dos superficies (2, 3), y además exhibe dos bordes laterales longitudinales (12, 13) que se extienden en la dirección longitudinal del artículo y dos bordes de extremo transversal (10, 11) que se extienden en la dirección transversal del artículo, caracterizado por que un número de dobleces de material llenos con aire (18) están dispuestos sobre y se proyectan desde la superficie permeable a los líquidos (2) al menos en uno de los bordes (12, 13; 40) del artículo.
