Abstract

Un conjunto de tubo y acople para fluídos presurizados quecomprende: un tubo maleable; un acople que tiene una primera porción que forma una superficie externa, una segunda porción radialmente más larga que la dicha primera porción para formar un empotramiento y enfrentado a la dicha primera porción; donde un extremo del dicho tubo está radialmente comprimido hacia adentro sobre la dicha superficie externa del dicho acople y se extiende dentro del dicho receso del dicho acople formando un sellamiento o sello hermético a fluídos entre el tubo y el acople el cual soporta una presión de fluído dentro del dicho tubo. 1Un método de ensamblar un tubo maleable a un acople, el acople que tiene una primera porción que forma una superficie externa, una segunda porción radialmente más larga que la dicha primera porción para formar un empotramiento enfrentado a la dicha primera porción, y un receso formado dentro del empotramiento y enfrentado a la primera porción, dicho método que comprende los pasos de: colocar un tubo sobre la primera porción del acople y la superficie externa; agarrar el tubo con mordazas que tienen una proyección de nariz hacia adentro de una pequeña extensión axial a alrededor del extremo delantero del acople; mover longitudinalmente el acople y el tubo en relación con las mordazas hasta que la proyección de nariz está sustancialmente cerca del empotramiento después del paso de agarrar el tubo con las mordazas; comprimir longitudinalmente el tubo adelante de la proyección de nariz durante el paso de movimiento longitudinal relativo para deformar el tubo radialmente hacia adentro contra el acople; y extender una porción del tubo dentro del receso para formar un sello o sellamiento entre el tubo y el acople.
