Abstract

El equipo de pervaporación facilita la separación de los componentes de una mezcla líquida utilizando una membrana semipermeable. Presenta especial utilidad en la deshidratación de compuestos orgánicos y recuperación de compuestos aromáticos, entre otros. Este dispositivo está contenido en una estructura externa o carcasa (15) que encierra el conjunto de dispositivos que comprenden entre los más importantes: un recipiente de alimentación (4) con regulación de temperatura y agitación, y una celda de pervaporación (6) donde se lleva cabo el proceso de separación. Esta celda permite utilizar cualquier tipo de material de membrana en una geometría circular y divide la corriente de alimentación (13) en 2 flujos, una de retenido (11) que retorna al recipiente de alimentación (4) y otra línea de permeado (12) que es conducida a una trampa de enfriamiento para condensado (8), en donde se recoge la sustancia de interés por aplicar bajas temperaturas.Pervaporation equipment facilitates the separation of the components of a liquid mixture using a semi-permeable membrane.
