Abstract
RESUMEN Un método de ejemplo incluye inferir, para un bloque de transformación actual de un bloque de video actual, un tipo de transformación de una pluralidad de tipos de transformación que incluye una o más transformadas de coseno discretas (DCT) y una o más transformadas de seno discretas (DST), en donde inferir el tipo de transformación comprende: determinar un tamaño del bloque de transformación actual; determinar si el bloque de video actual está particionado mediante particiones intrasub-bloques (ISP); y en respuesta a determinar que el tamaño del bloque de transformación actual es menor que un umbral y que el bloque de video actual está particionado mediante ISP, seleccionar una DST particular de la DST o las DST como el tipo de transformación seleccionado; transformar, con el uso del tipo de transformación seleccionado, el bloque de transformación actual para obtener un bloque de datos residuales reconstruidos para el bloque de video; y reconstruir, en función de los datos residuales reconstruidos para el bloque de video, el bloque de video.
