Abstract

本实用新型涉及一种显示模组,其包括:一框架,一导光板,一光学膜片,一显示面板,一电源/信号电路板以及一发光元件。其中该框架包括一容纳部。该导光板设置于该容纳部中,且该导光板具有一光入射面。该光学膜片设置于该导光板上。该显示面板设置于该光学膜片上。该电源/信号电路板电性连接于该显示面板,其包括一主电路区以及一光源设置区。该发光元件设置于该电源/信号电路板的光源设置区上。该电源/信号电路板是一种软性区域与硬性区域接合的电路板,该主电路区是一种软性区域电路板,该光源设置区是一种硬性区域电路板,且光源设置区基本平行于导光板的光入射面,使得发光元件有效固定,增加入射光线利用率。

Description

显示模组
【技术领域】
本实用新型是关于一种显示模组,尤指一种可有效固定发光元件,提高光线利用率的显示模组。
【背景技术】
因应目前手持式电子产品轻薄短小的要求,其显示模组上的光源,例如发光二极管(Light Emitting Diode,LED)或者灯管,基本都是由一极薄的电源/信号电路板所承接。
一种现有技术的显示模组揭露于2004年10月21日公告的台湾专利第222,543号。参照图1,该显示模组1包括一框架110、一导光板120、一扩散片130、一第一棱镜片140、一第二棱镜片150、一液晶面板160、一电源/信号电路板(Power/Signal PrintedCircuit Board)170、三个发光元件180以及一反射片190。
该框架110具有一容纳部111以及一槽孔112。导光板120设置于该容纳部111中,该扩散片130设置于该导光板120上,该第一棱镜片140设置于该扩散片130上,该第二棱镜片150设置于该第一棱镜片140上,该液晶面板160设置于该第二棱镜片150上,该反射片190设置于该框架110底部。该电源/信号电路板170是软性电路板(Flexible Printed Circuit Board,FPC),电性连接于该液晶面板160,三个发光元件180设置于该电源/信号电路板170上,该发光元件180是发光二极管。
该显示模组1组装时,该电源/信号电路板170向下弯折并从框架110的上表面延伸至框架110的下表面,包覆框架110的槽孔112,并利用双面胶带的粘著作用,使该电源/信号电路板170固定于该框架110上。组装完成后,设置于该电源/信号电路板170上的三个发光元件180位于框架110的槽孔112中,且该三个发光元件180与该电源/信号电路板170电性连接,该发光元件180采用侧面发光方式将光线导入导光板120的光入射面(未标示)。
此种设计由于该电源/信号电路板170需要反折,因此电源/信号电路板170的挺性必须较低。该挺性较低的电源/信号电路板170势必对发光元件180的有效定位造成困难。该电源/信号电路板170易因震动或者撞击引起发光元件180错位。因为发光元件180射出的光线从导光板120入光面的适当位置入射,可以有效将该光线导入导光板120并传输到液晶面板160,所以当发光元件180错位时,会造成入射光线损失,影响液晶面板160的画面显示品质。且由于该电源/信号电路板170利用胶合方式将软性电路板与框架结合,因此,粘着剂必须够粘以防止软性电路板回弹***。若是电源/信号电路板170因电路设计而有较高密度的电路元件时,也对发光元件180的打件工作造成困难,影响产品良率。
因此,改进电源/信号电路板170的结构,有效定位发光元件180到适当位置,增加入射光线利用率实为必需。
【实用新型内容】
为克服现有技术的显示模组容易因震动或者撞击引起发光元件错位及光线散失的问题,有必要提供一种有效定位发光元件及提高光线利用率的显示模组。
一种实施方式所揭露的显示模组包括:一框架,一导光板,一光学膜片,一显示面板,一电源/信号电路板以及一发光元件。其中该框架包括一容纳部。该导光板设置于该容纳部中,且具有一光入射面。该光学膜片设置于该导光板上。该显示面板设置于该光学膜片上。该电源/信号电路板电性连接于该显示面板,其包括一用以驱动显示面板的主电路区以及一用以设置发光元件的光源设置区。该发光元件设置于该电源/信号电路板的光源设置区上,且该发光元件与该电源/信号电路板电性连接,发光面与导光板的光入射面相对。该电源/信号电路板是一种软性区域与硬性区域结合的电路板,该主电路区是一种软性区域电路板,该光源设置区是一种硬性区域电路板,且光源设置区基本平行于导光板的光入射面。
相较于现有技术,上述显示模组中,发光元件与驱动显示面板的主电路直接整合于一个电源/信号电路板上,利用光源设置区的硬性电路板来有效固定发光元件,利用光源设置区的硬性区域电路板以有效固定发光元件至适当位置,且进一步增加入射光线利用率。

【具体实施方式】
请参照图2,是一种显示模组实施方式的立体分解示意图。该显示模组2包括一框架210、一导光板220、一扩散片230、一第一棱镜片240、一第二棱镜片250、一遮光胶带200、一显示面板260、一电源/信号电路板270、三发光元件280以及一反射片290。
该框架210包括一容纳部211,一槽孔212,一凹陷部213以及一个缺口214,其中容纳部211是框架210中空部分,槽孔212设于凹陷部213中,缺口214设于容纳部211与凹陷部213之间的框架横肋215上。
该导光板220的侧边设置有复数个凸块(未标示),该导光板220以榫合方式固定于该框架210的容纳部211中,其中该导光板220的光入射面221靠近框架210的缺口214。该反射片290设于该导光板220下面。该扩散片230、第一棱镜片240、第二棱镜片250的侧边均设置有复数个凸块(未标示),且该凸块与导光板220的凸块相对应,其中该扩散片230设于该导光板220上,该第一棱镜片240设于该扩散片230上,该第二棱镜片250设于该第一棱镜片240上。该遮光胶带200设于该第二棱镜片250上,该遮光胶带200是一中空方框,中空区域以透过光线。该显示面板260设于该框架210上。该电源/信号电路板270是一软硬结合电路板(Rigid/FlexiblePrinted Circuit Board),软硬结合电路板是一种电路板,该种电路板的特点在于软性电路板与硬性电路板的导电层电性连接,通过软性电路板压合于硬性电路板,并从硬性电路板延伸出的连接方式,把软性电路板与硬性电路板整合为一体,其兼具有软性电路板与硬性电路板的特征。且该电源/信号电路板270与该显示面板260电性连接。该发光元件280设置于该电源/信号电路板270上,该反射片290设置于该框架210底部。
该电源/信号电路板270包括一用以驱动显示面板260的主电路区271以及一用以设置发光元件280的光源设置区272,该光源设置区272为主电路区271包围的三个区域,每个区域设置一个发光元件280,该主电路区271是软性电路板,具有一定弹性,可以弯折。该光源设置区272是硬性电路板,具有一定的挺性,该电源/信号电路板270以及发光元件280整合在一起,且该发光元件280与该电源/信号电路板270电性连接。
请参照图3、图4,为本实用新型显示模组2组装动作示意图。该电源/信号电路板270在图3中为弯折前状态,在图4中该电源/信号电路板270为弯折后状态。
在组装过程中,该电源/信号电路板270一端电性连接于显示面板260,且自框架210的上表面向下弯折,穿过框架210的槽孔212,至框架210的下表面,包覆框架210的容纳部211与槽孔212之间的框架横肋215部分。组装完成后,弯折后的电源/信号电路板270形成一容置空间,缺口214收容于该容置空间。
请一并参照图5、图6是沿V-V线的剖视放大示意图及剖面放大示意图。该电源/信号电路板270弯折后,该光源设置区272垂直于框架210的上、下表面,该光源设置区272的背面紧贴槽孔212远离容纳部211的侧壁,平行于导光板220的光入射面221。设置于光源设置区272的发光元件280嵌套于框架210的缺口214中,该缺口214的形状与发光元件外型相吻合,缺口214的内表面贴合于发光元件280的表面,发光元件280的发光面281靠近导光板220的光入射面221,且光源设置区272与框架210的凹陷部213配合,该发光元件280的发光面与导光板220的光入射面221相对。由于光源设置区272具有一定硬性,该电源/信号电路板270与框架210可有效固定在一起,具有耐冲击、防震动的优点。
同时,可以不因光源设置区272是硬性电路板或发光元件200本身高度而增加框架230厚度。
当显示模组2工作时,该电源/信号电路板270输出自显示面板260产生的显示信号,以及发光元件280产生的光源信号,发光元件280发光产生的光线,部分自导光板220的光入射面221导入,部分光线经由反射片290反射入导光板220,然后再经由导光板220射入显示面板260。
在上述显示模组中,该电源/信号电路板270也可以为一软性电路板,在该光源设置区272的位置涂覆一层补强材料,提高该光源设置区272的挺性。
在上述显示模组中,该电源/信号电路板270的主电路区271表面可以涂覆一层反光性材料,提高发光元件280的光线利用率。该电源/信号电路板270的主电路区271表面可以涂覆一层吸旋光性材料,避免光线在导光板220的光入射面221侧形成亮线缺陷。
在上述显示模组中,发光元件280是发光二极管,该发光二极管采用顶发光方式,即该发光面281对应于该导光板220的光入射面221;该显示面板260为液晶显示面板。
根据以上所述,设于光源设置区272的发光元件280位于显示面板260以及框架210之间,同时镶嵌于框架210的缺口214中,因此,不仅使发光元件280与导光板220边缘结合,同时发光元件280利用显示面板260与框架210间原有的空间,而镶嵌于框架210内的结构,不影响显示模组2的厚度。

Claims (10)

1.一种显示模组,其包括:一框架,其包括一容纳部;一导光板,设置于该容纳部中,该导光板具有一光入射面;一光学膜片,设置于该导光板上;一显示面板,设置于该光学膜片上;一电源/信号电路板,其电性连接于该显示面板,并且包括一用以驱动显示面板的主电路区以及一用以设置发光元件的光源设置区;以及一发光元件,该发光元件设置于该电源/信号电路板的光源设置区上,且该发光元件与该电源/信号电路板电性连接,其发光面与导光板的光入射面相对;其特征在于:该电源/信号电路板是一种软性区域和硬性区域结合的电路板,该主电路区是一种软性区域电路板,该光源设置区是一种硬性区域电路板,且光源设置区基本平行于导光板的光入射面。
2.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该框架包括一槽孔,一凹陷部,一横肋以及一缺口,该槽孔设置于该凹陷部内,该横肋是该凹陷部与该容纳部之间的框架部分,该凹陷部中邻近该容纳部的横肋设置有至少一缺口,该电源/信号电路板穿过该槽孔包覆该凹陷部与该容纳部之间的横肋,该光源设置区嵌套于该框架的槽孔,该发光元件嵌套于该缺口中。
3.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该发光元件是发光二极管,该发光二极管的发光面对应于该导光板的光入射面。
4.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该电源/信号电路板的光源设置区是被该主电路区包围的多个区域,每个区域对应设置一个发光元件,该电源/信号电路板的主电路区向下弯折,并从框架的上表面延伸至框架的下表面,该光源设置区嵌于该框架的凹陷部,该发光元件设置于该缺口中。
5.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该电源/信号电路板的光源设置区为一硬性电路板,该光源设置区设置有补强结构。
6.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该电源/信号电路板的光源设置区为一设置有补强材料层的软性电路板。
7.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该光学膜片是一棱镜片。
8.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该光学膜片是一扩散片。
9.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该光学膜片是一扩散片与一棱镜片的组合。
10.如权利要求1所述的显示模组,其特征在于:该显示模组更包括一反射片,该反射片设置于该导光板的下面。
