Abstract

本实用新型涉及一种液晶显示装置。该液晶显示装置包括一液晶面板、一导光板以及一发光元件。该液晶面板包括一第一基板、与该第一基板相对设置的第二基板和夹置在第一、第二基板之间的液晶层,该导光板邻近该第二基板设置,其包括一入光面,该发光元件设置在该第二基板上的背离该液晶层一侧,邻近该入光面设置。

技术领域
本实用新型涉及一种液晶显示装置。
背景技术
由于液晶面板是一种非自发光的显示装置,为达到显示目的,需给液晶面板提供一面光源装置以实现其显示功能,如背光模组,其功能在于向液晶面板提供亮度充分且分布均匀的平面光。
请参阅图1,是一种现有技术液晶显示装置的立体分解示意图。该液晶显示装置3包括一软性电路板(Flexible PrintedCircuit Board,FPCB)310、一液晶面板320、多个发光元件330、一导光板340、一框架350、一反射片360和一金属背板370。
该导光板340包括一出光面341、一底面342和一入光面343,该底面342与该出光面341相对,该入光面343与该出光面341和底面342垂直相交。
该液晶面板320包括一第一基板322以及与该第一基板322相对设置的第二基板324,该第二基板324包括一延伸部326,该延伸部326用于设置驱动集成电路和压接该软性电路板310。
该软性电路板310的一端压接在该延伸部326上,与该液晶面板320电性连接,该软性电路板310包括一光源设置区。该发光元件330设置在该软性电路板310的光源设置区。该框架350对应该导光板340入光面343一侧具有多个缺口352。
请一并参阅图2和图3,图2是该液晶显示装置3组装后的立体示意图,图3是图2沿III-III方向的截面图。组装时,该反射片360邻近该导光板340的底面342设置,并与该导光板340一并收容在该框架350内;再将该液晶面板320邻近该导光板340设置,并将软性电路板310反折,使得该软性电路板310的光源设置区位于该框架350的后侧,与该框架350的缺口352对应,此时,该发光元件330位于该框架350的缺口352内,并邻近该导光板340的入光面343;最后,将上述组件设置在该金属背板370内,使该软性电路板370夹置在该框架350与该金属背板370之间,也夹置在该发光元件330与该金属背板370之间。
该框架350通常为胶框,该发光元件330通常为发光二极管(Light Emitting Diode,LED)。
然而,该液晶显示装置3中,发光元件330是设置在软性电路板310的光源设置区,该软性电路板310通过反折将发光元件330组装至框架350的缺口352内,并邻近导光板340的入光面343,由于软性电路板310弯折后经常会产生翘曲、移动等相关问题,从而导致发光元件330位置变动,影响液晶显示装置3的显示效果。
实用新型内容
为了解决现有技术液晶显示装置显示效果不佳的问题,有必要提供一种显示效果较佳的液晶显示装置。
一种液晶显示装置,其包括一液晶面板、一导光板以及一发光元件。该液晶面板包括一第一基板、与该第一基板相对设置的第二基板和夹置在第一、第二基板之间的液晶层,该导光板邻近该第二基板设置,其包括一入光面,该发光元件设置在该第二基板上的背离该液晶层一侧,邻近该入光面设置。
一种液晶显示装置,其包括一液晶面板、一导光板以及一发光元件。该液晶面板包括一第一基板、与该第一基板相对设置的第二基板以及夹置在第一、第二基板之间的液晶层,该导光板邻近该第二基板设置,其包括一入光面,该发光元件设置在该第二基板上,且该发光元件所发出的光线经由导光板导入第二基板。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型的液晶显示装置的发光元件是设置在液晶面板上,无须反折软性电路板,也不会出现由于软性电路板的翘曲所导致的发光元件的位置变动,从而增加了发光元件位置的稳定性,提高液晶显示装置的光学性质,提高液晶显示装置的显示品质。

具体实施方式
请参阅图4,是本实用新型液晶显示装置一较佳实施方式的立体分解示意图。该液晶显示装置4包括一软性电路板410、一液晶面板420、多个发光元件430、一导光板440、一光学膜片组480、一框架450、一反射片460和一金属背板470。
该导光板440包括一出光面441、一底面442和一入光面443,该底面442与该出光面441相对,该入光面443与该出光面441和底面442垂直相交。该光学膜片组480邻近该导光板440出光面441设置。
请一并参阅图5和图6,图5是该液晶显示装置4组装后的立体示意图,  图6是图5沿VI-VI方向的截面图。该液晶面板420包括一第一基板422、与该第一基板422相对设置的第二基板424以及夹置在二基板422、424之间的液晶层(图未示)。该第二基板424包括一延伸部426,该延伸部426邻近液晶层一侧用于设置驱动集成电路和压接软性电路板410。该延伸部426背离液晶层一侧设置有连接发光元件的金属垫板428(MetalPad),该金属垫板428具有一定高度,该发光元件430通过异方性导电膜(ACF)邦定(Bonding)在液晶面板420的金属垫板428上,如此该发光元件430可以通过软性电路板410和液晶面板420上的线路点亮。
该框架450对应该导光板440入光面443一侧具有多个缺口452。
组装该液晶显示装置4时,该反射片460邻近该导光板440的底面442设置,将光学膜片组480邻近该导光板440的出光面441设置,接着,将光学膜片组480、导光板440和反射片460一并收容在该框架450内;再将该液晶面板420邻近该光学膜片组480设置,此时,该导光板440延伸至该液晶面板420的延伸部426下方的一定距离处以减少荧火虫现象的发生,该设置在液晶面板420上的发光元件430位于该框架450的缺口452内,且邻近该导光板440的入光面443,由于该金属垫板428具有一定高度,该高度与位于液晶面板420和导光板440之间的光学膜片组480的高度相匹配,从而使得该发光元件430与该导光板440的入光面443相对;最后,将上述组件设置在该金属背板470内。
该框架450通常为胶框,该发光元件430通常为发光二极管。
与现有技术相比较,该液晶显示装置4的发光元件430是直接邦定在液晶面板420上,无须反折软性电路板410,也不会出现由于软性电路板410的翘曲所导致的发光元件430的位置变动,从而增加了结构稳定性,提高液晶显示装置4的光学特性,进而提高液晶显示装置4的显示品质。
而且,导光板440与液晶面板420因光学膜片组480所存在的距离可以通过金属垫板428的高度来抵消,从而使得发光元件430与导光板440入光面443正对,进一步提高液晶显示装置4的显示品质。
然而,本实用新型并不限于上述实施方式所述,例如:该导光板440延伸至液晶面板420的延伸部426下方的距离可以根据发光元件430的个数变更设计,即发光元件430个数越多,导光板440所需要延伸至延伸部426下方的距离越小。

Claims (10)

1.一种液晶显示装置,其包括一液晶面板、一导光板和一发光元件,该液晶面板包括一第一基板、一第二基板和夹置在第一、第二基板之间的液晶层,该导光板邻近该第二基板设置,该导光板包括一入光面,其特征在于:该发光元件设置在该第二基板上的背离该液晶层一侧,并邻近该入光面。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该第二基板包括一延伸部,该发光元件设置在该延伸部。
3.如权利要求2所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该延伸部设置有连接发光元件的金属垫板,该发光元件通过异方性导电膜邦定在液晶面板的金属垫板上。
4.如权利要求3所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该液晶显示装置进一步包括设置在导光板和液晶面板之间的光学膜片组,该金属垫板具有一定高度,该高度与该光学膜片组的厚度相匹配。
5.如权利要求2所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该导光板延伸至液晶面板的延伸部下方。该发光元件包括发光二极管,该导光板所须延伸至液晶面板的延伸部下方的距离随发光元件个数的增加而减小。
6.一种液晶显示装置,其包括一液晶面板、一导光板和一发光元件,该液晶面板包括一第一基板、一第二基板和夹置在第一、第二基板之间的液晶层,该导光板邻近该第二基板设置,该导光板包括一入光面,其特征在于:该发光元件设置在该第二基板上,该发光二极管所发出之光线经由导光板导入第二基板。
7.如权利要求6所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该第二基板包括一延伸部,该发光元件设置在该延伸部。
8.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该延伸部设置有连接发光元件的金属垫板,该发光元件通过异方性导电膜邦定在液晶面板的金属垫板上。
9.如权利要求8所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该液晶显示装置进一步包括设置在导光板和液晶面板之间的光学膜片组,该金属垫板具有一定高度,该高度与该光学膜片组的厚度相匹配。
10.如权利要求7所述的液晶显示装置,其特征在于:该导光板延伸至液晶面板的延伸部下方。该发光元件包括发光二极管,该导光板所须延伸至液晶面板的延伸部下方的距离随发光元件个数的增加而减小。
