Abstract

一种电连接器组合(1),包括插头连接器(2)及插座连接器(3)。插头连接器(2)包括绝缘本体(20)及若干收容在绝缘本体(20)的插头端子(21),插座连接器(3)也包括一绝缘本体(30)及若干收容在绝缘本体(30)的插座端子(31、32)。插头连接器(2)及插座连接器(3)均至少有一个端子排布与其它端子排布不一致。该种端子排布方式可更容易控制导体的电性属性并获得最大电流传输量。同时,该种端子排布方式使电连接器组合的尺寸更为紧凑,以迎合结构简单化的要求,并且,更方便与其它背板连接器部分组合。

【技术领域】
本实用新型是有关于一种作为背板连接器供电部分的电连接器组合,尤指一种用于连接子板与背板或母板的电连接器组合,同时该电连接器组合具有特殊的导电端子排布,以在子板与背板或母板之间稳定传输电能源。
【背景技术】
当今将印刷电路板或电路模块***主板或背板的方式被广泛应用在通讯传输***、计算器***等领域。背板或主板设有一通路以使印刷电路板或电路模块彼此达成电性连接。另外,背板也为印刷电路板提供电源及相应电压或接地连接。
请参阅美国专利第4,655,518号、第4,973,260号、第5,582,519号及第6,325,644号,业内现有技术将电源或是接地部分排布在信号端子右侧或围绕于信号端子周围。通常,背板连接器的电源或接地部分的排布或构造取决于其特定用途,例如防电磁干扰、防串音干扰、提供电源等等。常规电连接器由于在传输高速电流时相邻的信号端子间会产生噪音,所以常规电连接器采用高速电流设置是不实际及不合期望的。同时,在高密度与电子组件最小化之趋势下,出现了多种在不影响信号端子功能的前提下,占用更少有效空间的电连接器。
业内也采用独立模块化的电源部分来解决先前技术中之噪音及小型化的问题。如美国专利第4,790,763号、第4,818,237号、5,158,471号及第5,360,349号,模块化的电源部设计成能锁扣至信号端子部分,且突出在信号端子旁,并能与信号端子配合成一完整背板连接器。另外,美国专利第4,881,905号、第5,139,426号及第6,319,075号揭示安装在信号连接器不同位置的独立电源部分。显而易见,本板与子板需为额外的电源部分与单独的电源连接器提供相应的空间,为生产该等电源部分后电源连接器额外增加了工序,且有时候此额外工序成本昂贵。
除此之外,如美国专利第6,319,075号,所有电源连接器的端子沿绝缘本体纵长方向成排排布,所以端子为垂直定位,在电源连接器安装至印刷电路板时,端子通常是平行于印刷电路板表面。为了安装大量端子,电源连接器需扩大其尺寸以收容更多平行排布的端子。显然,加大电源连接器的尺寸就会增加其所占空间,同时也增加了制程复杂度,所以另一种设计是将端子沿印刷电路板垂直方向横排排布,端子彼此间呈垂直堆迭排布。这样的设计有利于连接器节约空间及小型化的趋势,但是端子堆迭式排布需根据端子安装时的位置改变其形状。明显,顶端的端子由于离印刷电路板较远,而造成顶端的端子较底端的端子为高。这样的构造导致不同长度的端子的电阻不同,从而降低了通过高电阻端子时的额定电流及增加了电路设计的难度。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种电连接器组合,该电连接器组合设有具有如电阻相同电性属性之插头和插座,以获得稳定电性性能,保证印刷电路板的电路设计的安全性。
本实用新型的另一目的在于提供一种电连接器组合,该电连接器组合具有紧凑的排布以缩小该电连接器组合及最终背板连接器的尺寸。
本实用新型的另一目的在于提供一种电连接器组合,该电连接器组合在对接面上每单位面积的电流密度达到理想化,以获得最大之电流传输容量且更为方便与信号部分组合。
为达成上述目的,本实用新型提供了一种电连接器组件,包括插头连接器及插座连接器,其中插头连接器包括绝缘本体及收容在绝缘本体的若干端子,插座连接器与上述插头连接器相配合,包括绝缘本体及若干收容于绝缘本体的端子,该绝缘本体与上述插头连接器的绝缘本体一面相配合,端子用于在插头连接器与插座连接器组合时与插头连接器的相应端子连接,另,至少有一个端子,其具有可调的电阻属性且安装方向不同于其它端子,使得上述至少一个端子具有和其它端子相同的电阻属性。
相较于现有技术,本实用新型提供了可调节电阻大小的端子及端子的排布方式,使得所有端子具有相同的电阻属性,从而保证了电流传输时的能获得稳定一致的电流,同时也降低了制程的复杂度,缩小了电连接器组件的尺寸,进而更方便的模块化或是与其它背板连接器的组件或部分组合。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1至图3,本实用新型的插头连接器2与插座连接器3组合成电连接器组件1。如图2所示插头连接器2,包括第一绝缘本体20、若干收容于第一绝缘本体20的插头端子21及由塑胶制成且安装在第一绝缘本体20后面的后部24。该第一绝缘本体20包括形成在第一绝缘本体20内的收容空间201、形成在第一绝缘本体20外表面的第一对接面202、由第一对接面202延伸并与收容空间202相通的第一通孔203、一对由第一对接面202两侧延伸的导引柱204及由第一对接面延伸而出的侧壁205。第一通孔203沿平行于插头连接器2所在的电路板(未图示)的第一方向成排排布,用以收容插头端子21,另,至少有一个第一通孔203沿与第一方向垂直之第二方向排布。后部24包括一对由后部24中央向前延伸的臂部241及一对由后部24上端相对两角延伸的结合部242。结合部242用以将后部24固持在第一绝缘本体20上。
插头端子21包括若干第一端子22及至少一个第二端子23。第一端子22在安装至第一绝缘本体20前成型于一竖直料带,安装时,从第一绝缘本体20后端***收容空间201并固持在第一绝缘本体20内。第一端子22设有至少两个延伸出基体的第一连接部221及在两第一连接部之间形成的狭槽。狭槽底端设有一第一弹性部222,该第一弹性部222包括若干倒钩,以与第一通孔203内壁干涉配合,从而将第一端子22固持在第一通孔203内。第一焊接部223由第一端子的侧缘垂直向下延伸,且沿第一端子22的侧缘排布成一排。相反,第二端子23成“L”形的金属片,包括第二连接部231、若干由第二端子尾端延伸的第二焊接部233、若干设置在金属片顶部且具有弹性臂的第二弹性部232及至少两个设置在金属片侧壁之开口234。该第二弹性部232的弹性臂用以与第一通孔203内壁配合,以将第二端子23固持在第一通孔203内。第一端子22及第二端子23由第一绝缘本体20的后面从第一通孔203***第一绝缘本体20内,并通过第一弹性部222及第二弹性部232固持在第一通孔203内。当插头端子21完全安装时,第一连接部221及第二连接部231延伸出第一绝缘本体20的对接面202且位于导引柱204之间。另外,第一端子22排布形成第一假想平面组,该第一假想平面组具有彼此互相平行的第一假想平面;第二端子23之第二连接部231形成一第二假想平面,该第二假想平面垂直于第一假想平面;第二端子23之第二焊接部233形成一第三假想平面,第一、第二假想平面垂直于第三假想平面。然后,后部24藉其臂部241***第二端子23的相应开口234,从而固定至第一绝缘本体20上。
请参阅图4及图5,电连接器组件1的插座连接器3包括插座型的第二绝缘本体30及若干插座端子31、32,该插座端子31、32包括若干第三、第四端子31、32。第二绝缘本体30与第一绝缘本体20相配合,包括于第二绝缘本体30一面形成的第二对接面301、若干由第二对接面301至另一面的第二通孔302及设置在第二绝缘本体30两侧面的导引槽303。部分第二通孔302排布成一排,且定位于第一假想平面组,另外,至少一个第二通孔302定位在与第一假想平面组垂直的第二假想平面。导引槽303沿第二绝缘本体30侧壁前后延伸,且在第二对接面301设有开口。
第二绝缘本体30中组设有第三端子31及第四端子32。第三端子31包括设有若干弹性突起的板状第三弹性部312、排布成一排且由第三弹性部312一边延伸的第三焊接部313及若干对由第三弹性部312相对于第三焊接部313另一边延伸的第三连接部311。每对第三连接部311向相反方向弯曲形成一钩状对接部。第三端子成排***第二通孔302内且第三连接部311收容在相对应的第二通孔302。第四端子32同样设有第四连接部321、第四焊接部323及第四弹性部322,其构造与第三端子一致,且其安装至第二通孔302时与第三端子31一致,只是至少有一个第三端子排布与其它不同。
请参阅图1、图6及图7,将插头连接器2与插座连接器3组合时,插头连接器2的导引柱204先***对应的插座连接器3的导引槽303,以使两个连接器2、3达到正确的定位,同时第一绝缘本体20的侧壁205的倒钩与对应第二绝缘本体30的对应侧面相配合以达到同样效果。然后,延伸出第一对接面202的插头端子21的第一连接部221及第二连接部231***第二通孔302并位于插座连接器的第二对接面301上的开口,从而与插座连接器的端子31、32达成电性通路。
明显,于电流穿过时,插座连接器3的第三端子31及第四端子32具有相同电阻属性。另外,插头连接器2的第一端子22、第二端子23的电阻依照下面公式进行计算:
                           R=ρL/A
其中R代表导体之电阻,ρ代表电阻率,L代表导体的长度以及A代表导体的横截面积。可以认为,第二端子23的长度较任何第一端子22为长,但同时横截面积较任何第一端子22为大,所以可以通过调节第二端子23的长度及横截面积的大小来控制第二端子23的电阻,使第一端子22与第二端子23的电阻达成一致,从而保证电流穿过时的一致性及稳定性。这样的构造使整个电连接器组件1达到更佳的电阻属性,同时简化了该电连接器组件1之构造及制程。
业内现有技术,电连接器组件1为背板连接器组合一部分,其中插头连接器2安装至子板(未图示)且排布在信号传输部旁边,而插座连接器3与另一与上述信号传输部分相对应的信号传输部分安装至背板或是主板上。由于电连接器组件1紧凑的尺寸,该电连接器组件1可以很容易模块化或是与其它背板连接器的组件或部分组合。

Claims (7)

1.一种电连接器组件,包括插头连接器及与插头连接器配合的插座连接器,其中插头连接器包括插头绝缘本体及收容在插头绝缘本体的若干插头端子,插座连接器包括插座绝缘本体及若干收容于插座绝缘本体的插座端子,该插座绝缘本体与上述插头绝缘本体一面相配合,插座端子与相应的插头端子连接,其特征在于:至少有一个插头和插座端子,其具有可调的电阻属性且安装方向不同于其它插头和插座端子,使得上述至少一个插头和插座端子具有和其它插头和插座端子相同的电阻属性。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:上述其它插头和插座端子排布成一排且每个插头和插座端子形成一彼此平行的第一假想平面。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:上述至少一个插头和插座端子形成一垂直于第一假想平面的第二假想平面。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:上述至少一个插头端子呈“L”型且由金属片冲裁而成,该至少一个插头端子设有一定位在第二假想平面的连接部。
5.如权利要求2所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:上述其它插头和插座端子呈板状且每个上述其它插头和插座端子形成的第一假想平面组成一第一假想平面组。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:上述至少一个插头端子设有若干由“L”型端子基体延伸的焊接部,该焊接部定位于同时垂直于第一假想平面组与第二假想平面的第三假想平面。
7.如权利要求3所述的电连接器组件,其特征在于:插座连接器的插座端子具有相同的形状,至少一个插座端子于插座连接器与插头连接器组合时定位在第二假想平面。
