本实用新型有关一种LGA连接器端子,包括一个基板,其具有两个从倾斜上缘两端向上突起的导引和定位延伸部;两个从基板的下边向下延伸的下接合部;至少一个形成于基板两相对垂直边上的倒钩;及弹性C形上接合部,该弹性C形上接合部从基板下边的中部向上弯曲延伸,其包括一个接合顶端,该接合顶端从上接合部的一端垂直延伸并超过两个导引和定位延伸部的水平线。

Description

一种连接器端子
本实用新型有关一种连接器端子，尤其涉及一种用于平面格栅封装连接器的端子。
平面格栅封装(Land grie array，LGA)连接器一般与芯片(IC)封装一起使用，并在LGA连接器与相关母板接合过程中不需要焊接程序。一般一个LGA组件包括一个IC封装，在IC封装底面设有若干扁平端子衬垫，而连接器则具有绝缘本体与若干个通道，连接器的通道中容纳有若干个传导端子。扣持装置包括一个位于IC封装上表面的上金属板、一个位于PC板下表面的下金属板，及若干组贯穿PC板的并排孔，而上金属板和下金属板用于构建组件，每一组并排孔则容纳了一个与垫圈和螺母配合的螺丝钉，以将LGA组件夹在上、下金属板之间。
美国专利第5,653,698号则揭露了一种导电端子，如图5所示，其设在相对的电接触面40、8间的连接器30里，而端子衬垫则分别形成于IC封装2和印刷电路板6上。传统端子一般包括具有第一、第二主面110、120的平面端子体10，该平面端子体1包括一对间隔的弹性臂140、150，它们由一弹性曲线部160连接。前述弹性臂140、150每一个都具有一个自由端，该自由端外表面边缘形成有端子顶端17、18以接合相应的接触面40、8，而短接部19、20一般从自由端向彼此方向延伸并且彼此错位，其弹性臂140、150则彼此相对偏斜，而使短接部19、20交叠，且使第一主面110与第二主面120相接合。这样，当IC封装2与连接器30相抵接时，端子顶端17、18之间的导电路径就得到了缩短。
然而，由于在端子曲线形成时不可预料的侧向偏斜，短接部19、20还不能彼此确实接触。尽管容纳有端子的通道内壁是用于限制短接部19、20的侧向偏斜，但是，依着通道内壁的短接部19、20不可预料的刮擦仍会影响两个短接部19、20的合适交叠，这种结构极难完成两个短接部19、20的合适交叠和接合。因此，需要提供一种新的端子结构，依此将IC封装抵接到连接器上从而得到较短的连接路径。
本实用新型的目的是在提供一种LGA连接器端子，当端子压入时，IC封装和印刷电路板间的导电路径缩短，具有良好的排配和导引效果。且具有相对简单的结构，以提供良好的定位效果。
本实用新型的目的是通过以下技术方案实现的：LGA连接器端子包括一个基板，其具有两个向上突起的导引定位部；两个从基板下边的两端向下延伸的下接合部；至少一个形成于基板的两个垂直边上的倒钩；以及一个从基板的下接合部向上弯曲的弹性C形上接合部，并包括一个于两个导引定位部的水平线较远处从C形结构的一端垂直延伸的接合顶端，该接合顶端与设在导引定位部间的倾斜上缘以一定距离隔开，而C形结构位于两个导引定位部之间的垂直平面内。
下面结合附图及实施例对本实用新型作进一步说明。
图1是本实用新型LGA连接器端子的立体视图。
图2是安装在LGA连接器内的端子前视图。
图3是安装在LGA连接器内的端子侧视图。
图4是安装在LGA连接器内，且位于CPU芯片和母板之间的端子侧视图。
图5是收容在LGA连接器内，且位于IC封装和印刷电路板之间的传统端子侧视图。
如图1所示，本实用新型LGA连接器端子1包括基板10，该基板10具有两个从倾斜上缘12的两端向上突起的导引定位部11，两个从基板10的下边两端向下延伸的下接合部13，以及两个形成于基板10的两个相对边上的倒钩14，且每一个倒钩14都具有下锥部141。弹性C形上接合部15从基板靠近接合部的中部延伸并向上弯曲，包括一个从上接合部15的自由端与基板平行延伸的接合顶端16。又，如图3所示，接合顶端16与倾斜上缘12隔开一定距离，接合顶端16在向下外力作用下与倾斜上缘12接合，且该倾斜上缘12在两个导引定位部11间形成一个锥面121，以便于在接合顶端16受到垂直力作用时与接合顶端16稳固接触。另外，基板10具有等于弹性C形上接合部15和两个下接合部13总宽的宽度。
如图2所示，端子1设置在通道80内，借助倒钩14与凹槽82干涉固接，由于在两个内壁形成有四个接合点，所以，端子能稳固结合在通道80中。
如图4所示，图3中的LGA连接器位于LGA型中央处理器(CPU)芯片3和母板4之间，其中CPU芯片3具有一个可强制推动端子顶端16的接触垫31，而每一个下接合部13均与母板4的衬垫41邻接。此时，上接合部15发生变形，而顶端16则与基板10电性接合，且其一部分限位于导引定位部11之间。由于基板10的宽度比上接合部15的宽度要宽，其导电路径也较上接合部15的导电路径要短。因此，端子改进后的导电性比未改进前要好。
与现有技术相比本实用新型具有以下优点，第一，当接合顶端16压下时，导引定位部11的结构可确保接合顶端16与倾斜上缘12无偏差连续接合；第二，形成于基板10的相对边的四个倒钩14具有简易的结构，其可提供合适的接合能力；第三，接合部具有两个下接合部13，而可增加端子与母板4之间的接触面积。

Claims (6)

1.一种连接器端子，包括：一个基板；其特征在于：该基板具有两个向上突起的导引定位部，两个与导引定位部相对延伸的下接合部，而连接器端子至少包括一个设在基板两侧边的倒钩，及一个从下接合部之间向上弯曲的弹性C形上接合部，上接合部的自由端与基板平行延伸有接合顶端，并在导引定位部间设有倾斜上缘，接合顶端与倾斜上缘以一定距离分开。
2.如权利要求1所述的端子，其特征在于：每一个倒钩都具有一个下锥部。
3.如权利要求1所述的端子，其特征在于：接合顶端从上接合部的一端垂直延伸并超过两个导引定位部的水平线。
4.如权利要求1或3所述的端子，其特征在于：C形上接合部位于两个导引定位部的垂直平面内。
5.如权利要求1所述的端子，其特征在于：倾斜上缘在两个导引定位部间设有一个锥面。
6.如权利要求1所述的端子，其特征在于：基板的宽度等于弹性C形上接合部和两个下接合部总宽度。
