目前汽车牌照是直接装在车身上的，在使用过程中很容易被碰撞、擦伤、扭曲等，造成牌照的损坏。
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种安放汽车牌照用的防护装置。
本实用新型采用以下方案来实现：
整个防护装置由前护框、后护框及左、右侧护框构成；后护框为封闭的“囗”型，前护框为“凵”型或“囗”型，侧护框为“」”型；装配时侧护框夹在前、后护框之间，位于两侧，左、右反向，即下折端相向，并用点焊、铆接等机械联结方式装配而成；前、后护框及侧护框均由金属材料制作，侧护框的宽度窄于前、后护框的边框宽度，后护框的上方边框有与汽车牌照安装孔相对应的安装孔。

从图中看出，本实用新型有四个部件，后护框（1）为封闭的“囗”型，形状、大小与汽车牌照相适应，后护框的上方边框有与汽车牌照安装孔相对应的安装孔（2），用以将牌照和防护装置一起装到车身上。前护框（3）为“凵”型或“囗”型，为“囗”型时其上方边框与下方边框之间的距离L2要不小于后护框的上方边框顶边与下方边框之间的距离L1；或者就采用“凵”型，即去掉其上方边框，为的是不影响后护框及汽车牌照上安装孔的使用。侧护框（4）为“」”型，它的宽度b3要窄于前、后护框的边框宽度b2和b1。装配时侧护框是夹在前、后护框之间，位于前、后护框的两侧边的相应位置，左、右各一块反向配置，即下折端相向，两者“面对面”，然后利用点焊、铆接、螺纹、粘贴等机械联结方式装配起来，使前、后护框及侧护框合并成一体。由于侧护框的宽度比前、后护框的边框宽度窄，因此沿前、后护框及侧护框的内边缘就形成了浅槽，即防护装置的中间形成了放置汽车牌照的空间，牌照从前、后护框上方的缝隙中***即可。前、后护框均由金属材料制作，使之有足够的强度。若安装牌照和防护装置的紧固件采用防盗螺钉，则还可以防止汽车牌照被偷窃。
如上所述，本实用新型本身可形成一个有足够强度的框架，因此汽车牌照安放在其中可以受到保护，以避免牌照在使用过程中被轻易损伤。

1、一种汽车牌照防护装置，其特征在于由前护框、后护框及左、右侧护框构成；后护框为封闭的“□”型，前护框为“凵”型或“□”型，侧护框为“」”型；装配时侧护框夹在前、后护框之间，位于两侧，左、右反向，即下折端相向，并用点焊、铆接等机械联结方式装配而成；前、后护框及侧护框均由金属材料制作，侧护框的宽度窄于前、后护框的边框宽度，后护框的上方边框有与汽车牌照安装孔相对应的安装孔。
