3. The flat tv set as claimed in claim 2, wherein a notch is formed at a bottom of a side of the base adjacent to the screen assembly, the stand is supported on a stand bottom, and the stand bottom is fixedly connected to the base along the notch so that the stand is lapped on the base.

The flat tv set according to claim 3, further comprising two adapting brackets respectively located at both sides of the flat tv set, wherein the adapting brackets respectively mate and fixedly connect with the side of the base, the side of the supporting portion and/or the side of the beam structure member located at the same side of the flat tv set.
5. The flat tv set according to claim 4, wherein the adapting bracket comprises two wings, the two wings respectively abut against and are fixedly connected with the side edge of the supporting portion and the side edge of the base on the same side of the flat tv set.
6. The flat tv set as claimed in claim 5, wherein the at least one wing of the adaptor bracket includes a slot to be fitted with a side of the support portion or a side of the base, the at least one wing of the adaptor bracket being abutted against the side of the support portion or the side of the base along the slot.
7. The flat tv set as claimed in claim 5, wherein the at least one wing of the adaptor bracket includes an opening to be fitted with a side of the support portion or a side of the base, and the at least one wing of the adaptor bracket abuts against the side of the support portion or the side of the base along the opening.
8. The flat panel television set according to claim 2, wherein the cross beam structure member is fixedly abutted with the bracket by a screw.
9. A flat panel television set as claimed in any one of claims 4 to 7 wherein the rear cover also covers the side of the support adjacent the cross beam structural member.
10. A flat tv set as claimed in claim 9, wherein the rear cover is flush with the beam structure and the adaptor bracket, respectively, such that the top surface of the base, the adaptor bracket and the corresponding portion of the rear cover covering the base as a whole is flat and
the side face of the whole body formed by the support, the cross beam structural member and the corresponding part of the rear cover covering the support is made to be a plane.
