In some preferred modes, the base 4 is provided with the first electrical contact 15, the connector 17 is provided with the second electrical contact 115 at a corresponding position, as shown in fig. 7, in this embodiment, the base 4 is provided with two first electrical contacts 15, and the connector 17 is provided with two second electrical contacts 115 at a corresponding position, so that when the connector is placed on the base 4, the first electrical contacts and the second electrical contacts are conducted to form a loop for providing power to the commodity. In some preferred modes, the first electrical contact 15 is in communication with a circuit board in the base 4, and when the connector 17 is placed on the base 4, the charging circuit of the commodity can be conducted to charge the commodity.

It is obvious that the described embodiments are only some of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of them. Based on the embodiments in the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by a person skilled in the art without creative efforts shall belong to the protection scope of the present invention.

Claims (10)

1. A security device for the theft protection of an article of merchandise, comprising a base and a sensor, the base configured to be operatively coupled to a support surface for supporting the sensor and/or the article of merchandise; a sensor configured to be directly or indirectly connected to the item of merchandise, the sensor comprising a cable comprising at least one metal fiber wire, the cable configured to be operably connected to the base; the security device is configured to trigger the security device to issue a security signal and/or alarm when the cable is broken and/or the article is illegally removed from the sensor.
2. The security device of claim 1, wherein said cable comprises at least two wires, wherein at least one of said wires comprises a metal fiber wire.
3. A security device for merchandise theft prevention according to claim 1 wherein said metal fiber wire comprises a plurality of strands of metal fibers having a diameter of 30 μm or less.
4. A security device according to claim 3, wherein said metal fibers are made of at least one material selected from the group consisting of lead, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel.
5. The security device of claim 1, further comprising a connector connected to a charging interface of the article for providing power to the article.
6. The security device of claim 5, wherein the sensor is configured to be operatively connected to the connector.
7. The security device of claim 6, wherein said connector is configured as a separate body that operates independently of the sensor.
8. A security device for the theft of merchandise, as claimed in claim 1, wherein said base includes a processor and/or alarm circuitry.
9. A security device for the theft of merchandise, as claimed in claim 1, wherein said base is configured to be connectable to an external power source and/or an external alarm device.
10. A security device according to claim 1, wherein the base is configured to be moved away from a support surface and/or to trigger the security device to issue a security signal and/or alarm when external power is removed.
