Abstract

一种电连接器,包括:绝缘本体、固持于该绝缘本体上的数个端子、遮覆于绝缘本体上的金属元件,所述绝缘本体向前凸设有舌板部,所述金属元件环绕舌板部形成一对接腔,所述舌板部设有数个收容端子的端子收容槽,所述端子设有凸伸入对接腔内的接触部,所述金属元件的至少一端设有水平安装脚及竖直安装脚,该水平安装脚凹设有凹陷,竖直安装脚收容于该水平安装脚的凹陷内,从而占用了较少的印刷电路板空间。

【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种沉板型电连接器。
【背景技术】
随电子产品的快速发展,连接器的应用迅速被广泛应用到电子产品上,一般电连接器包括:绝缘本体、固持于绝缘本体中的端子及遮覆于绝缘本体上的金属壳体。所述金属壳体设有顶壁、自顶壁两端向下弯折延伸的侧壁及自两侧壁弯折对接形成的底壁,所述侧壁设有焊接于印刷电路板上的焊接部。但是,随着电子产品朝着小型化的发展,电连接器也须朝小型化发展趋势,从而,电连接器适应变小时,电连接器相对于印刷电路板的抓板力强度可能不够。
如中国实用新型第200620074432.8号专利所揭露的一种现有电连接器,该电连接器的金属壳体的侧壁前后分别设有焊接于印刷电路板的焊接脚,从而增加连接器占用印刷电路板上的空间,且两个焊接脚前后分开设置,不利于电连接器与电路板的固持。
因此,确有必要对现有电连接器加以改良,以克服现有技术中的缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题在于提供一种占用较少印刷电路板空间的电连接器。
为解决上述问题,本实用新型电连接器采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,包括:绝缘本体、固持于该绝缘本体上的数个端子、遮覆于绝缘本体上的金属元件,所述绝缘本体向前凸设有舌板部,所述金属元件环绕舌板部形成一对接腔,所述舌板部设有数个收容端子的端子收容槽,所述端子设有凸伸入对接腔内的接触部,所述金属元件的至少一端设有水平安装脚及竖直安装脚,该水平安装脚凹设有凹陷,竖直安装脚收容于该水平安装脚的凹陷内。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器具有如下有益效果:通过在金属元件的至少一端设有水平安装脚及竖直安装脚,该水平安装脚凹设有凹陷,竖直安装脚收容于该水平安装脚的凹陷内,从而占用了较少的印刷电路板空间。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1及图2所示,本实用新型电连接器安装于印刷电路板(未图示)上,该电连接器包括绝缘本体1、固持于绝缘本体1上的数个端子2,3、遮覆于绝缘本体1外侧的金属壳体4、辅助件5及固定端子的固定件6。
请再参阅图3及图4所示,所述绝缘本体1设有基部10、自基部10一侧延伸的舌板部11,所述舌板部11的上下两侧均设有收容端子的端子收容槽16。所述基部10凹设有贯穿底面的凹陷12,并形成有安装平台13,该安装平台13设有与印刷电路板7相对的安装面130及自安装面凸伸的定位部131,所述基部10的底部还设有与固定件6相配合的第一锯齿部14。所述第一锯齿部14设有若干个凸部140,每两个凸部140之间设有凹槽141。
所述端子包括设置于绝缘本体的舌板部11上下两侧的上排端子2及下排端子3,该上、下排端子均设有固持于绝缘本体1上的固持部20、30、自固持部20、30一端延伸于舌板部11上的接触部21、31及自固持部20、30另一端延伸出安装平台13的焊接尾部22、32。
所述金属壳体4设有顶壁40、自顶壁40两端向下弯折延伸的两侧壁41及自两侧壁41弯折对接形成的底壁42。上述顶壁40、侧壁41及底壁42环绕于舌板部11及数个端子的外侧构成一对接腔43(如图1所示),所述端子接触部21、31凸伸入对接腔43内。所述顶壁40的后侧向外凸设有数个定位凸部400,所述绝缘本体的上方设有收容定位凸部400的数个定位凹槽100,从而可使金属壳体4在前后方向上定位。
所述侧壁41靠近对接腔43侧向外弯折延伸有竖直安装脚410,该竖直安装脚410与安装面130相垂直(即该竖直安装脚410为***焊接型焊接脚),该侧壁41的后端还向下延伸有与竖直安装脚410平行的焊接部411。
所述固定件6呈纵长形,该固定件6的一侧设有与绝缘本体底部的第一锯齿部14相配合的第二锯齿部60,所述第二锯齿部60设有若干与第一锯齿部的凹槽141相互配合的凸部601,每两凸部601之间设有与第一锯齿部的凸部140相互配合的凹槽602,从而将下排端子3的焊接尾部32夹持其中,使端子的焊接尾部32位置牢牢固定。所述固定件6的两端向外凸设有凸部61,所述绝缘本体的两端设有收容该凸部61的凹槽15,从而将固定件6牢牢地卡持于绝缘本体1上。
所述辅助件5设置于金属壳体4底壁42的外侧,该辅助件5通过镭射点焊与金属壳体4的底壁42固持在一起,该辅助件5的设置可防止底壁42对接处开裂及金属壳体的对接框的变形,当然,我们也可将该金属壳体与辅助件统称为金属元件。所述辅助件5设有设置于底壁42外侧的主体部50、自主体部50两端向外延伸的水平安装脚51,该水平安装脚51与安装面130相平行,且所述水平安装脚51的中间位置设有凹陷510,所述金属壳体4的竖直安装脚410收容于该凹陷510内,所述水平安装脚51具有位于凹陷510两侧的两侧面511,所述竖直安装脚410与该两侧面511相抵接,从而可使辅助件5定位,竖直安装脚410与水平安装脚51相结合而焊接于印刷电路板,从而占用了较少的印刷电路板空间。

Claims (8)

1.一种电连接器,包括:绝缘本体、固持于该绝缘本体上的数个端子、遮覆于绝缘本体上的金属元件,所述绝缘本体向前凸设有舌板部,所述金属元件环绕舌板部形成一对接腔,所述舌板部设有数个收容端子的端子收容槽,所述端子设有凸伸入对接腔内的接触部,其特征在于:所述金属元件的至少一端设有水平安装脚及竖直安装脚,该水平安装脚凹设有凹陷,竖直安装脚收容于该水平安装脚的凹陷内。 
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述水平安装脚具有位于凹陷两侧的两侧面,所述竖直安装脚与该两侧面相抵接。 
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述金属元件包括遮覆于绝缘本体上的金属壳体及安装于该金属壳体外侧的辅助件,上述水平安装脚设置于该金属壳体上,竖直安装脚设置于辅助件上。 
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述金属壳体设有顶壁、底壁及连接该顶壁与底壁的一对端壁,并环绕构成上述对接腔,所述辅助件固持于金属壳体的底壁上。 
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述金属壳体的端壁还设有位于竖直安装脚后侧的焊接部。 
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述顶壁的后侧设有定位凸部,所述绝缘本体设有收容该定位凸部的定位凹槽。 
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器设有固定端子的固定件,所述绝缘本体的底部设有第一锯齿部,所述固定件设有与第一锯齿部相配合的第二锯齿部。 
8.如权利要求1或2或3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器设有安装面,所述水平安装脚与该安装面相平行,所述竖直安装脚与该安装面相垂直。
