本实用新型涉及一种FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,包括:LCD玻璃基板、连接在LCD玻璃基板外端上的FPC、及涂覆在LCD玻璃基板与FPC连接处下端的硅胶,所述FPC于其连接端的铜箔上设有金手指,该金手指通过各向异性导电胶热压贴合在LCD玻璃基板外端导线上,FPC下端的聚酰亚胺膜延伸连接到LCD玻璃基板的外端上而贴合在各向异性导电胶的端缘上。本实用新型FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,通过将聚酰亚胺膜延伸连接至LCD玻璃基板的外端上,提高连接牢固性,增强抗拉强度,避免FPC热压部分的金手指由于连接不牢固而断裂,进而提高产品可靠性及良品率。

技术领域
本实用新型涉及一种FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构。
背景技术
现有的FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,如图1所示,包括LCD玻璃基板1与连接在LCD玻璃基板1外端上的FPC3,FPC3是通过其连接端的铜箔32上所设的金手指直接热压贴合在覆有各向异性导电胶10的LCD玻璃基板外端导线上实现导通,经涂覆硅胶13后,完成连接。而上述该种连接结构中,FPC3下端的聚酰亚胺膜34未与各向异性导电胶粘接,容易使FPC热压部分的金手指由于连接不牢固而断裂,从而影响LCD的品质,降低产品的可靠性及良品率。
实用新型内容
本实用新型的目的是提供一种FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,其连接结构较为牢固,抗拉强度较高,提高产品可靠性及良品率。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型提供一种FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,包括:LCD玻璃基板、连接在LCD玻璃基板外端上的FPC(柔性线路板)、及涂覆在LCD玻璃基板与FPC连接处下端的硅胶,所述FPC于其连接端的铜箔上设有金手指,该金手指通过各向异性导电胶(ACF)热压贴合在LCD玻璃基板外端导线上,FPC下端的聚酰亚胺膜延伸连接到LCD玻璃基板的外端上而贴合在各向异性导电胶的端缘上。
所述聚酰亚胺膜延伸至LCD玻璃基板的外端上的宽度为0.1-0.2mm。
所述聚酰亚胺膜延伸至LCD玻璃基板的外端上的宽度优选0.2mm。
本实用新型的有益效果是:本实用新型FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,通过将聚酰亚胺膜延伸连接至LCD玻璃基板的外端上,提高连接牢固性,增强抗拉强度,避免FPC热压部分的金手指由于连接不牢固而断裂,进而提高产品可靠性及良品率。

以下结合附图对本实用新型进行详细描述。
如图2所示,本实用新型FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构包括:LCD玻璃基板2、连接在LCD玻璃基板2外端上的FPC4、及涂覆在LCD玻璃基板2与FPC4连接处下端的硅胶24。
所述FPC4于LCD玻璃基板2外端上连接端的铜箔42上设有金手指(未图示),该金手指通过各向异性导电胶20热压贴合在LCD玻璃基板2外端导线(未图示)上,从而实现FPC4与LCD的导通。FPC4下端的聚酰亚胺膜44延伸连接到LCD玻璃基板2的外端上而贴合在各向异性导电胶20的端缘上,从而形成一台阶状。所述聚酰亚胺膜44延伸至LCD玻璃基板2的外端上的宽度可为0.1-0.2mm,优选0.2mm,该宽度选择避免了延伸至LCD玻璃基板2上的聚酰亚胺膜44对导通产生不良的影响。
该聚酰亚胺膜44的延伸设置对FPC4铜箔42上的金手指起到一定的保护作用,避免其因弯折等动作而不慎断裂,从而影响其与LCD的导通。
综上所述,本实用新型FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,通过将聚酰亚胺膜延伸连接至LCD玻璃基板的外端上,提高连接牢固性,增强抗拉强度,避免FPC热压部分的金手指由于连接不牢固而断裂,进而提高产品可靠性及良品率。

1.一种FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,其特征在于,包括:LCD玻璃基板、连接在LCD玻璃基板外端上的FPC、及涂覆在LCD玻璃基板与FPC连接处下端的硅胶,所述FPC于其连接端的铜箔上设有金手指,该金手指通过各向异性导电胶热压贴合在LCD玻璃基板外端的导线上,FPC下端的聚酰亚胺膜延伸连接到LCD玻璃基板的外端上而贴合在各向异性导电胶的端缘上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,其特征在于,所述聚酰亚胺膜延伸至LCD玻璃基板的外端上的宽度为0.1-0.2mm。
3.根据权利要求2所述的FPC与LCD玻璃基板的连接结构,其特征在于,所述聚酰亚胺膜延伸至LCD玻璃基板的外端上的宽度为0.2mm。
