具体实施方式
本发明的目的在于实现更有趣的用户接口,即图形和声音,特别地例如与移动电话中的游戏相关联的用户接口。本发明还适用于其他设备中,通常是所有具有用户接口并且除运行设备的其它功能之外还适于玩游戏的设备。这种设备包括传呼机、通信装置、灵巧电话机、电子管理器、计算器、定位装置等设备。本发明最适合用于通常具有相当大的用户接口(即液晶显示屏)、声音和振动***以及较高的处理器能力的手持式设备。
所述设备的一般功能和组件可以是常规的并且在这里不进行论述。只要说明所述设备包括控制部件以及显示器的用户接口,并且其中所述控制部件具有用于控制所述设备的正常操作的处理器就足够了。除所述设备的正常使用功能之外,所述设备还具有用于接收并执行游戏的平台。
利用新一代的全彩色显示器,诸如移动电话之类的各种电子设备中的主题、背景和整个用户接口变得越来越图形精美。然而,当今的移动电话及其它手持式设备中的图形是静态的并且仍然没有使用许多动画和生动的效果。在用户可以改变主题、背景图片等的意义上,图形受用户控制,但是所述图形并不与用户的环境相交互。本发明提供了更动态的、由用户半控制的接口,这使电子设备更加生动。
如这里所用,主题可以包括一组:图片设置,包括诸如颜色、对比度、光强之类的图片参数;图片对象,诸如图标、光标、字体和背景的形状和大小;动画效果和位图形状;各种声音设置,包括诸如低音、高音和音量之类的声音参数;声音对象,诸如由声音和曲调所组成的信号和警报;以及振动设置,包括诸如速度、幅度和持续时间之类的振动参数。
图1显示了本发明的一个实施例,示意地示为例如移动电话的设备1,其具有用于接收并运行游戏2的平台。所述用户经由用户接口3与设备相交互,所述用户接口3即例如常规的视觉显示装置、音响***、振动器和键盘。所述设备的操作由控制部件6来控制。设备1的外观和感觉借助用户接口参数来体现,所述用户接口参数通常是与设备的正常操作相关联的一组参数5和当用户玩游戏时所使用的一组参数4。面向用户的接口适当地包括诸如液晶显示屏之类的视觉显示装置(visual display unit VDU)7、音响***8和振动元件9。
当进行游戏时,用户通常能够在开始游戏之前选择各种设置。用户可能有机会选择某个种类的化身、路线、进入级别、车辆、武器等。在游戏会话期间用户还会碰到许多不同的东西。用户进入具有不同外观和特性的不同级别,选择不同的方向,选择新的武器,遇见新的对手,收集点数等。在这个与游戏的交互过程期间,用户接口参数4发生变化,可以使用诸如图形、不同的声音和曲调播放、振动等。当游戏会话完全结束或“暂停/保存”时,用户得到某个种类的结果分数,到达确定的级别,征服某个特殊的对手等。通常用户还可以将其签名输入到高分列表或类似结构中。
本发明的基本思想在于当在严格的游戏会话之外使用设备时也利用由所述游戏所产生的主题。例如,如果设备1是电话,当用户退出游戏会话以便接收或发出呼叫时,那么所述电话的主题会响应于游戏中所出现的事件而改变。例如,如果在游戏期间用户达到其中路线在森林中进行的级别,那么用户接口参数5也会被改变以致主题的颜色主要是绿色的并且声音也被改变为森林动物的声音。在另一级别,游戏在大海中进行,在这种情况下颜色主要是蓝色并且声音也是像水花飞溅的声音等。在一种模式中,设备被设置为采用游戏特定级别的完整主题,并且在所述设备操作中使用所述主题。在另一种模式中,所述设备保持由一些用户接口参数5所定义的当前主题,但是依照游戏参数4来改变某些参数,例如颜色主题和字体,从而只是逐渐修改所述设备的主题。在游戏中扮演的角色及其它符号和记号也可以被用作半透明的背景以作为主题的一部分。
如用户接口参数5所定义的主题可以随着游戏进展而自动改变,或者当用户选择退出游戏时而半自动地改变。特别地是,用户可能想要退出游戏以便保存特定的主题。控制部件6适于一旦在游戏中参数4发生改变就随之改变用户接口的参数5。作为选择,控制部件6还适于只有在游戏被中断时才改变所述用户接口的参数5。所述设备是可锁定的,这样当用户产生他想要持久使用的主题时他可以锁定所述设备。依照这种方式,用户可以借助游戏体验来创建或产生唯一的主题,使得所述设备获得动态改变的用户接口。
当用户得到特别高的分数时,他可能想将其保存为在显示器上示出的主题的一部分,特别是在直接与游戏本身相关联的设计中。这种视图还可以被保存在设备中并由用户来签名,以便把所述分数发送给朋友以向他们自夸和挑战。由游戏本身所产生的签名和特殊设计确保高分是真实的游戏结果而不是篡改出来的。
主题可以被存储在设备中,以备在用户以后想要使用时利用或者发送给其它用户。特别当所述设备是移动电话时,主题和分数例如可以依照适当的格式被保存以经由移动电信网络通过MMS(多媒体消息服务)发送,或者被上传到因特网上以供与其他用户共享。
因而,本发明提供了一种使用户有机会创建新的不变接口或动态改变的接口的设备和方法,所述动态特征使接口随着游戏环境的改变而改变。代替利用图像处理程序来设计主题,用户可以通过玩游戏并且自动或由用户控制地输入用户参数来创建所述主题。本领域技术人员可以理解,本发明可以借助不同的硬件和软件组合来实现。本发明的范围仅由下面的权利要求来限制。

Claims (40)

1.一种设备(1),具有用户接口(3)、用于控制所述设备操作的控制部件(6),所述操作包括用户接口的可变参数(5),并且所述设备还具有用于运行游戏(2)的游戏平台,其特征在于所述控制部件(6)适于依据在所述游戏(2)中所出现的用户接口参数(4)来改变所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)。
2.依照权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于为所述用户接口(3)定义具有可变参数的主题,并且把至少一个主题与所述游戏(2)相关联。
3.依照权利要求2所述的设备,其特征在于把一个主题的不同参数与所述游戏(2)的不同级别相关联。
4.依照权利要求2所述的设备,其特征在于把至少一个主题与所述游戏(2)的每个级别相关联。
5.依照权利要求1或2所述的设备,其特征在于把不同的参数与所述游戏(2)的不同分数相关联。
6.依照权利要求1到5中任何一个所述的设备,其特征在于所述控制部件(6)适于每当所述游戏(2)中的用户接口参数(4)改变时就改变所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)。
7.依照权利要求1到5中任何一个所述的设备,其特征在于所述控制部件(6)适于当所述游戏(2)被中断时改变所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)。
8.依照权利要求7所述的设备,其特征在于所述控制部件(6)适于当所述用户退出所述游戏(2)时自动地改变参数(5)。
9.依照权利要求7或8所述的设备,其特征在于所述控制部件(6)适于通过用户命令来改变参数(5)。
10.依照权利要求9所述的设备,其特征在于所述控制部件(6)适于通过用户命令锁定以便阻止将来对所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)的改变。
11.依照权利要求2到9中任何一个所述的设备,其特征在于所述设备(1)适于依照可以随消息被发送到另一设备的格式来保存所改变的用户接口主题。
12.依照权利要求5到11中任何一个所述的设备,其特征在于所述设备(1)适于依照可以随消息被发送到另一设备的格式来保存由用户得到的游戏分数。
13.依照权利要求2到12中任何一个所述的设备,其特征在于所述主题包括一组:图片设置,包括诸如颜色、对比度、光强之类的图片参数;图片对象,诸如图标、光标、字体和背景的形状和大小;动画效果和位图形状;声音设置,包括诸如低音、高音和音量之类的声音参数;声音对象,诸如由声音和曲调所组成的信号和警报;以及振动设置,包括诸如速度、幅度和持续时间之类的振动参数,所述主题与所述设备(1)的操作相关联。
14.依照权利要求1到13中任何一个所述的设备,其特征在于所述用户接口包括显示器(7),以便借助于所述显示器的图形接口来示出与所述设备(1)的操作相关的信息。
15.依照权利要求14所述的设备,其特征在于所述用户接口包括音响***(8)。
16.依照权利要求15所述的设备,其特征在于所述用户接口包括振动元件(9)。
17.依照权利要求1到16中任何一个所述的设备,其特征在于所述设备(1)是便携式电话、传呼机、通信装置、灵巧电话机、电子管理器、计算器或定位装置。
18.一种用于在设备(1)中提供可变用户接口的方法,所述设备(1)具有用户接口(3)、用于控制所述设备操作的控制部件(6),所述操作包括用户接口(3)的可变参数(5),并且所述设备还具有用于运行游戏(2)的游戏平台,其特征在于所述控制部件(6)接收来自所述游戏(2)的游戏相关数据并且使用所述数据以改变所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)。
19.依照权利要求18所述的方法,其特征在于为所述用户接口(3)定义具有可变参数的主题,并且把至少一个主题与所述游戏(2)相关联。
20.依照权利要求19所述的方法,其特征在于把一个主题的不同参数与所述游戏(2)的不同级别相关联。
21.依照权利要求19所述的方法,其特征在于把至少一个主题与所述游戏(2)的每个级别相关联。
22.依照权利要求18或19所述的方法,其特征在于把不同的参数与所述游戏(2)的不同分数相关联。
23.依照权利要求18到22中任何一个所述的方法,其特征在于每当所述游戏(2)中的用户接口参数(4)改变时就改变所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)。
24.依照权利要求18到22中任何一个所述的方法,其特征在于当所述游戏(2)被中断时改变所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)。
25.依照权利要求24所述的方法,其特征在于当用户退出所述游戏(2)时自动改变参数(5)。
26.依照权利要求24或25所述的方法,其特征在于通过用户命令来改变参数(5)。
27.依照权利要求26所述的方法,其特征在于所述控制部件(6)通过用户命令锁定以便阻止将来对所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)的改变。
28.依照权利要求19到27中任何一个所述的方法,其特征在于依照可以随消息被发送到另一设备的格式来保存所改变的用户接口主题。
29.依照权利要求22到28中任何一个所述的方法,其特征在于依照可以随消息被发送到另一设备的格式来保存由用户得到的游戏分数。
30.依照权利要求19到29中任何一个所述的方法,其特征在于所述主题包括一组:图片设置,包括诸如颜色、对比度、光强之类的图片参数;图片对象,诸如图标、光标、字体和背景的形状和大小;动画效果和位图形状;声音设置,包括诸如低音、高音和音量之类的声音参数;声音对象,诸如由声音和曲调所组成的信号和警报;以及振动设置,包括诸如速度、幅度和持续时间之类的振动参数,所述主题与所述设备(1)的操作相关联。
31.一种可装载到设备(1)中的游戏模块,所述设备(1)具有用户接口(3)、用于控制所述设备(1)操作的控制部件(6),所述操作包括用户接口(3)的可变参数(5),并且所述设备(1)还具有用于接收并运行与所述游戏模块相关联的游戏(2)的游戏平台,其特征在于所述游戏模块适于把来自所述游戏(2)的游戏相关数据发送到所述控制部件(6)以便依据在所述游戏(2)中所出现的用户接口参数(4)来改变所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)。
32.依照权利要求31所述的游戏模块,其特征在于为所述用户接口(3)定义具有可变参数的主题,并且把至少一个主题与所述游戏(2)相关联。

37.依照权利要求31到35中任何一个所述的游戏模块,其特征在于所述游戏模块适于当所述游戏(2)被中断时命令改变所述用户接口(3)的参数(5)。
38.依照权利要求31到37中任何一个所述的游戏模块,其特征在于所述主题包括一组:图片设置,包括诸如颜色、对比度、光强之类的图片参数;图片对象,诸如图标、光标、字体和背景的形状和大小;动画效果和位图形状;声音设置,包括诸如低音、高音和音量之类的声音参数;声音对象,诸如由声音和曲调所组成的信号和警报;以及振动设置,包括诸如速度、幅度和持续时间之类的振动参数,所述主题与所述设备(1)的操作相关联。
