Abstract

一种电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置,包括一键盘控制器,一电池组,所述键盘控制器包括一模拟/数字转换器,所述模拟/数字转换器包括一模拟/数字转换信号引脚,所述电池组包括一直流信号引脚和一接地电阻,所述键盘控制器的模拟/数字转换信号引脚通过电池组上的直流信号引脚连接到电池组的接地电阻的一端,所述接地电阻的另一端接地。该模拟/数字转换器将模拟信号转换成多位的数字信号和键盘控制器内建辨识图表对应,从而能够辨识多个电池组厂商及其型态。

电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种笔记本电脑的电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置。
【背景技术】
现今许多的计算机周边控制器大多整合了多种功能,以节约客户成本及备料库存,这种手段常用于键盘控制器上。目前的笔记本电脑电池组可以通过主板上的键盘控制器来辨识如电池组厂商和电池组充放电型态的辨识源,键盘控制器的提供者亦即其研发者于键盘控制器内建了对应电池组厂商和电池组充放电型态的辨识图表。如图1所示,键盘控制器1的I/O(输入/输出)引脚D0通过电池组3上的DC(直流)信号引脚连接到电池组3的内置接地电阻R1的一端,同时通过一个10K欧姆的电阻R3连接至主板上的电源端子V1,接地电阻R1的另一端接地。不同的电池组厂商提供不同阻抗值的接地电阻R1,所以引脚D0输入的电压值不同。键盘控制器1会根据从引脚D0输入的电平状态,寻找与之对应的内建辨识图表,从而辨识与之相连接的电池组厂商及其型态。
但是,一个I/O引脚D0只能辨识高、低电平两种电压信号。若高电平定义为2.4V,低电平定义为0.4V,噪声容限为0.4V,则输入电压在(2V,2.4V)区间内,I/O引脚辨识为高电平,输入电压在(0.4V,0.8V)区间内,I/O引脚辨识为低电平,输入电压在(0.8V,2V)区间时为未定义区域,I/O引脚无法辨识。当R1的取值在一个大范围变化时(如10欧姆至10k欧姆),从I/O引脚输入电压的未定义区域不能辨识,只能对落入高、低电平两个电压区间的电压值辨识,所以只能辨识与高低电平对应的两种电池组厂商。如果电池组厂商及其型态在两种以上,则一个I/O引脚无法辨识每一种电池组厂商及其型态。
【发明内容】
本发明的目的是提供一种可以辨识多个电池组厂商及其型态的装置。
为实现本发明的目的,本发明提供的电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置包括一键盘控制器,一电池组,所述键盘控制器包括一模拟/数字转换器,所述模拟/数字转换器包括一模拟/数字转换信号引脚,所述电池组包括一直流信号引脚和一接地电阻,所述键盘控制器的模拟/数字转换信号引脚通过电池组上的直流信号引脚连接到电池组的接地电阻的一端,所述接地电阻的另一端接地。
本发明将电池组的直流信号引脚连接至键盘控制器的模拟/数字转换器,将模拟信号转换成多位的数字信号和键盘控制器内建辨识图表对应,从而能够辨识多个电池组厂商及其型态。

【具体实施方式】
现在结合附图来进一步说明本发明的较佳实施例。
如图2所示,本发明包括一键盘控制器11,一电池组33,所述键盘控制器11包括一ADC(模拟/数字转换器),所述电池组33包括一DC信号引脚,所述电池组33内值一接地电阻R11。ADC包括一ADC信号引脚,所述ADC信号引脚通过电池组33上的DC信号引脚连接到电池组33的接地电阻R11的一端,同时通过一电阻R33连接至主板上的电源端子V11,接地电阻R11的另一端接地。
本实施例中ADC为8位模拟/数字转换模式,其接收从ADC引脚输入的电压信号,并将之转换成为8位的数字信号。因此,一个ADC便能辨识2的8次方即256种不同的电压信号。当电池组33内的电阻R11在10欧姆至10k欧姆范围内变化时,ADC引脚会输入不同大小的电压值,每个电压值可以经过ADC转换成为8位的数字信号,以对应该电池组厂商和电池组充放电型态的内建辨识图表。这样,作为辨识源的电池组厂商和电池组充放电型态可以增加至256种。

Claims (5)

1.一种电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置,包括一键盘控制器,一电池组,所述键盘控制器包括一模拟/数字转换器,所述模拟/数字转换器包括一模拟/数字转换信号引脚,所述电池组包括一直流信号引脚和一接地电阻,其特征在于:所述键盘控制器的模拟/数字转换信号引脚通过电池组上的直流信号引脚连接到电池组的接地电阻的一端,所述接地电阻的另一端接地。
2.如权利要求1所述的电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置,其特征在于:所述键盘控制器的模拟/数字转换信号引脚还通过一电阻连接至电源端子。
3.如权利要求1所述的电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置,其特征在于:所述模拟/数字转换器为8位模拟/数字转换模式。
4.如权利要求1所述的电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置,其特征在于:所述接地电阻的阻值范围在10欧姆至10k欧姆范围内变化。
5.如权利要求1所述的电池组厂商及其型态辨识装置,其特征在于:每一组电池组厂商及其型态对应所述接地电阻的一个阻抗值。
