背景技术
这种轮作为轻金属轮特别在结构中非常受到欢迎,因为除了汽车美学上的构造之外还可以取得其他的技术优点。
总之这种趋势在于,尽可能减少轮的重量。这是对于日益增加的轻金属轮的另一个原因。但是相对于传统的钢轮这种节省的重量通常不是很高,因为使用的轻金属合金大部分不具有钢的强度。因此这样的轮必须构成为较大的壁厚,所以又重新部分丢掉了重量优点。
从WO 01/17799A1中公开了一种轮,其通过特别的结构可以进一步减小重量。
这种已知的轮具有轮缘,其设有轮缘外座和轮缘内座。轮缘外座与轮廓段一起用作轮胎的座。在轮廓段下面存在空腔,所以产生封闭的中空轮廓,其导致希望的强度升高。轮廓段由分开加工的半壳组成,所述半壳例如由塑料制成,因此能够制造轻的轮,其特别在危险区具有高的强度。
但是这里的缺点是相当高的加工技术费用。当它作为半壳构成,所述轮廓段必须分开制造并且接着通过胶水或焊接与轮缘连接。
发明内容
因此本发明的问题在于,改进前述类型的轮,减少加工技术的费用。
通过具有权利要求1的特征部分的轮解决上述问题。
本发明基于塑料直接浇铸到轮上的思想。因此,实现保持已知轮的重量和强度优点,但显著地减少制造费用,在所述轮中,轮缘外座至少部分通过预加工的轮廓段构成。通过该方案能够使用确定的制造方法,例如注塑方法。
特别的优点具体在于这种轮,其中轮毂具有轮辐。轮辐由于节省重量的原因能够设有轮辐空腔,其然后填充有塑料。因此产生的塑料核将从轮毂的直接区域中如此径向延伸,使得它从上面进入轮缘外座的区域内并且直径用作轮胎座。因此能够成本便宜地制造这种轮,其中可取得突出的强度值。特别地,轮辐的壁厚能够进一步减小,从而在保持强度的同时能够获得显著的重量减小。
特别的优点在于泡沫塑料的使用,通过泡沫塑料能够另外进一步减小重量。该减小重量相对于现在结构能够使每个轮至少1至2kg。
特别有利的是,泡沫塑料在它的表面具有表皮,其因此保证平的和最佳的轮胎座并且特别地也可以没有其它措施对轮胎气密封。
当塑料是加强的塑料,特别是纤维加强的塑料,例如一种玻璃纤维或炭纤维加强塑料时,能够特别简单并且节省重量地达到轮要求的强度特性。
由于有利的机械特征,适合于作为塑料的是聚酰胺或聚碳酸酯。

具体实施方式
轮1以已知的方式由轮缘10和轮毂20组成。
轮缘10具有轮缘内座16和轮缘外座14。它们分别轴向向外地转变为轮缘内角18和轮缘外角12。在轮缘内角18和轮缘外角12之间保持轮胎50,所述轮胎安排在轮缘内座16和轮缘外座14上并且侧面位于轮缘内角18和轮缘外角12。
轮缘10转变为轮毂20,轮毂20具有多个轮辐22。轮辐22由于节省重量的原因构成为中空的轮辐并且分别具有轮辐空腔24。
塑料泡沫的表面构成表皮32并因此提供用于轮胎50的平的和最佳的座。通过用塑料填充轮辐22的空腔24,能够提高轮辐22的强度,这特别在轻金属轮中是很大的优点,因为因此改善它的碰撞特性。因此通过根据本发明的轮1,减小在街边石头上或凹坑上驶过时候损坏的危险。

Claims (6)
1.一种轮,特别是用于汽车的轻金属轮,基本上由轮毂(20)和轮缘(10)组成,其中轮缘(10)具有轮缘内座(16)和轮缘外座(14),它们分别转变为轮缘内角(18)和轮缘外角(12),其中轮缘外座(14)至少部分由塑料构成,其特征在于,塑料(30)直接浇铸到轮(1)上。
2.如权利要求1所述的轮,其中轮毂(20)具有带有轮辐空腔(24)的轮辐(22)并且轮辐空腔(24)填充有塑料(30)。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的轮,其中塑料(30)是起泡沫的。
4.如权利要求3所述的轮,其中塑料(30)在它的表面具有表皮(32)。
5.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的轮,其中塑料(30)是加强的塑料,特别是纤维加强的塑料。
6.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的轮,其中塑料(30)是聚酰胺或聚碳酸酯。
