Abstract

技术领域
通常,本发明涉及供网络设备支架用的电缆管理装置。特别是,本发明涉及成角度的接插板和电缆支承杆。
背景技术
电缆、诸如UTP、ScTP、同轴和光纤电缆在电信工业中用来传送数据、声音、视频和/或音频信息。接插板或网络设备附件和支架***在电信工业中是众所周知的。它们管理和组织通向和来自这种设备的电缆和/或通向和来自交叉连接***的电缆。这些***通常包括标准EIA 19″、23″或其它的配线架,一个或多个接插板、网络设备、光纤附件等安装在其上。支架附件具有许多功能,包括作为松弛盘、结合盘、电缆管理器和接插板使用。这些支架也可在它们与设备对接时作为互相连接或交叉连接附件。此外,这些支架还可用作电信柜,以允许电缆被端接、绞接、***和/或沿它们的长度储存在各处。

对于接插板***来说还有一个需要,就是能提供更多端口容量和提供额外的空间以容纳电缆。
发明内容
本发明的一个目的是提供一种供网络支架用的改进的接插板,它可提供更好的电缆管理而不需要水平电缆管理器。
本发明的另一目的是提供一种改进的接插板,它能够提供更多的端口容量。
本发明的再一个目的是提供用于接插板的电缆支承。
上述的许多目的和其它目的是通过一种可安装在一网络支架里的接插板获得的,该接插板包括一框架和支架安装板。该框架形成一中心部分,该中心部分具有可适合在网络支架里安装的纵向宽度、一预定的高度、一前侧和一后侧。支架安装板位于中心部分的相反的两纵向端部处,以便接插板被安装在网络支架上。该中心部分以倒置V形向外突出成一角度。该中心部分具有可安装在其上的多个电缆连接器,它们接纳在接插板框架前侧和后侧的电缆。安装时,多个电缆连接器被定位成它们的后表面面向中心部分的共同轴线。

具体实施方式
按照本发明的第一实施例的接插板100如图1-6所示,它在提供一支承板、以便安装可重新配置的端口、从而将零件临时接入网络支架方面是有用的。
接插板100包括向外突出成一角度的中心框架110,多个面板开口120和在各端部的一安装板130,而安装板130带有多个安装孔135,如图1所示。可提供位于框架110中间的一中心平板140,它使在中心框架110相对半边上的开口120互相分开。该中心平板140通过切去在中心部分的角而略微减少接插板的深度D。接插板100较佳的是由适当的材料、诸如金属形成,从而自身接地。然而,当可使用一单独的接地杆时,框架110可由任何受到刚性的材料、诸如许多塑料或复合材料形成。在接插板的后侧可提供一分离的或一体形成的电缆支承杆200。电缆支承杆200包括一杆部210和安装板220。
接插板100和电缆支承杆200被设计成可安装在一支架上。接插板100可是任何尺寸,但较佳的是具有W宽度,以便在传统的19″或23″EIA网络支架范围内,而这种网络支架具有隔开的垂直轨道或支柱510,以便在其上安装许多支架元件(见图4-5)。接插板可占据单个1.75″(4.45cm)支架单元高度,或多个支架单元高度、诸如图示的两个支架单元高度(3.5″或8.9cm)。支架500应该具有许多安装孔520或类似的结构,以便设备安装。安装后,接插板100从支架500的前面向外突出若干英寸的距离D,如图2和6所示,这是由于向外成一角度的框架110形成的。
本发明不限于这种EIA支架,而是可同样用于其它已知的或以后将会出现的支架。此外,网络支架500不需要是一个开口的框架结构,如上述的EIA支架,而是也可包括具有安装特征和壁的安装厨柜,该壁形成能接纳和附加支架元件、诸如接插板100、电缆管理器等的孔。
接插板100向外突出成一角度,大致为一倒置的V形。图2显示了带角度的接插板100的俯视图。接插板框架110的各一半较佳的是镜象对称,并相对另一半成一角度Φ,角度Φ是在约90度和180度之间的、较佳的是在约100度和140度之间的、更佳的是在110度和130度之间的一适当角度的钝角。在所示的实施例里具有约120度的Φ角。它允许固定在接插板前面的电缆直接通向位于网络支架附近的一个或多个垂直电缆管理器。
接插板框架的两个一半还相对安装板130(它们互相成一直线取向,并平行于安装支架500的轨道510的前侧)成一角度θ,角度θ是一个不大于45度的、较佳的是在约20度至40度之间的、更佳的是在约25度和35度之间的锐角。在所述的例子里,角度θ约是30度。虽然显示了中心部分并被描述成对称的,但应该知道,接插板部分110也可相对安装板130以不同的角度设置,从而具有不同的长度。
接插板100具有多个面板开口120,它们接纳***模块300,如图3所示。***模块300的尺寸与开口120配合,较佳的是搭扣配合。然而,除了可更换的模块,模块300也可归并到框架110中。模块和开口可是多个支架单元高度,也可是单个支架单元高度的尺寸,如图所示。在所述的第一示范性实施例里,接插板100具有12个面板开口120。该12个面板开口120允许12个***模块300***接插板100里,如图3所示。
***模块300适合于固定一个或多个可拆卸的电缆连接模块400。电缆连接模块400可采用许多形式、诸如与电的、光学的、电信有关的、或其它已知的、或以后出现的连接器,以便连接敷设电缆。较佳的模块是可连接用于电信工业、以便传送数据、声音、视频和/或音频信息的UTP、ScTP、同轴和/或光纤电缆。
***模块300通过现有技术中已知的搭扣配合固定在接插板开口120里。图3显示了一安装着四个电缆连接模块400的***模块300的分解图,该模块然后将被***接插板100里。另外三个具有电缆连接模块400的***模块300已被安装在接插板100里。在图1-6所示的第一实施例里,接插板100可具有总共12个***模块300,各***模块300可装载四个连接模块400,而在两个支架单元空间里总共有48个端口。
本发明的接插板具有若干优点。通过使框架以倒置V形向外突出成一角度,电缆连接模块在***开口时均面向一共同中心轴线(平行于深度方向D)。由此提供前连接表面,它们较好地相对支架轨道510的前角取向,而前角处提供有垂直的电缆管理器或管道530,垂直电缆管理器530包含着与每一个电缆连接模块400前侧连接的电缆540,如图6所示。特别是,带角度的框架110提供连接表面,与传统的接插板相比,该连接表面相对电缆离开垂直电缆管理器的离开方向处于一减少的角度处。即,在现有技术中,平面的接插板基本上平行于所述的离开方向,从而需要电缆90度弯曲,以便连接。这需要一个外部水平电缆管理器,以便控制所述的弯曲并提供一最小的弯曲半径。然而,由于本发明的接插板具有与所述离开方向(图6中的方向X)相交的表面,并成一大的钝角,因此获得连接所必须的弯曲基本上小于90度,如图所示。由于电缆540非常自然地从垂直管道530通向各连接模块400,从而减少了或消除了用来引导从垂直电缆管理器530来的离开电缆至接插板100的、额外的水平电缆管理器的需要。
此外,该结构还导致比以前略微缩短的接插板的长度。还有,向外突出成角度的框架110提供了在接插板100后面的增加的空间,以便容纳敷设电缆。即,如图6所示,传统的平面的接插板与支架轨道510齐平,从而只提供在轨道510之间的内矩形面积。然而,对于带角度的接插板来说,接纳面积是该内矩形加上由接插板100的向外延伸的框架形成的三角形面积。
此外,通过使接插板的前面(以倒置的V形)成角度,而不是平的,在接插板的前面出现额外的表面积,从而允许增加接插板的端口容量。即,对于一个给定宽度、诸如19″的支架,传统的平的接插板将只具有等于19″×N×1.75″的表面积,其中,N是一定高度的支架单元的数量。然而,在任何给定的角度θ,框架110的两个成角度的一半的总长度将大于对应的平面件的长度。例如,本发明的带角度的接插板前面处于30度的示范性角度θ时,表面积约是22″×N×1.75。利用基本的三角原理可简单地求得针对其它角度θ的其它表面积。
将上述的特征结合在一起使用可增加本发明的接插板的功能。即,接插板后面增加的空间有助于满足由于额外的接插板表面积而造成的增加的端口容量引起的敷设电缆需要,而统一的带角度连接模块通过减少引入电缆必须弯曲角度、消除传统的接插板经常需要的额外的水平电缆管理器而较好地管理在接插板前侧的电缆。
虽然在前侧的水平的电缆管理器可以不需要,但提供电缆支承杆200可能是较佳的,以便支承固定在接插板100后侧的许多电缆的重量,并有助电缆离开接插板100的方向。电缆支承杆200较佳的是由适当的材料、诸如金属形成。支承杆部分210较佳的是延伸经过支架500的全部宽度,并包括安装板220,各安装板220具有至少一个安装孔225,如图所示,以便将支承杆安装在支架500或类似的装置上。
电缆支承杆200较佳的是与接插板100分开,但如果需要,也可与接插板一体形成。电缆支承杆200可利用安装孔225固定在支架500上,或者在固定接插板100时从前面固定,或者在接插板100已被固定后从后面固定。从后面固定电缆支承杆200将允许最终用户在所有的零件被端接后安装电缆支承杆,从而在端接连接器时消除来自电缆支承杆200的任何干扰。
在图7-9所示的本发明的第二实施例里,提供结构上的变形。接插板700以第一实施例中的角度θ和Φ弯曲。然而,在该实施例里,框架710只有六个面板开口720,从而允许12个组合***模块800***其中。这些模块占据双支架高度。与前面的实施例一样,提供安装板730,以便将接插板安装在支架上,还可提供中心平板740。
用于本发明第二实施例的12个组合***模块800如图8所示。虽然可提供更多的或更少的连接模块,但所示的***模块800可接纳最多12个逐一间隔的电缆连接模块900。为了能够搭扣配合在开口720里,***模块800具有四个“倒置的”搭扣810,如图8所示,它们将***模块800固定在接插板700上。然而,将***模块800固定在开口720里的其它方法也可考虑。
图9显示了一***模块800的分解图,该***模块装载了四个示范的电缆连接模块900,它们被定位后将安装在接插板700里。还显示了其它五个装载着电缆连接模块900的***模块800,它们已被安装在接插板700里。虽然不是必须的,但图示的接插板700象前述实施例那样复盖两个支架单元,并安装在一标准19″网络支架上。由于这种结构,在两个支架高度接插板上可获得72个电缆连接端口的容量。

Claims (27)

一安装在网络支架上的接插板,接插板包括:
一框架,框架形成中心部分并具有一可安装在两轨道之间的纵向宽度、一预定的高度、一前侧和一后侧;以及
支架安装板,它们位于中心部分的纵向相反的两端部,与轨道上的间隔的安装孔连接;
其中,中心部分以倒置V形向外突出成一角度,中心部分具有安装在其上的多个电缆连接器,该电缆连接器在接插板框架的前侧和后侧接纳电缆,多个电缆连接器被定位成它们的后表面面向中心部分的一共同轴线。
21.如权利要求20所述的网络支架和接插板组件,其特征在于,中心部分的共同轴线位于中心部分的中点。
22.如权利要求20所述的网络支架和接插板组件,其特征在于,中心部分包括至少两个面板开口,各在中心部分的共同中心的一侧。
23.如权利要求22所述的网络支架和接插板组件,其特征在于,还包括至少两个可拆卸的、其尺寸可安装在至少两个面板开口之一里的***模块,可拆卸的***模块之一包括多个电缆连接器中的至少一个。
24.如权利要求22所述的网络支架和接插板组件,其特征在于,框架的中心部分具有两成角度的板部分,一板部分相对另一板部分的角度是在100度至140度之间的一钝角Φ。
25.如权利要求24所述的网络支架和接插板组件,其特征在于,框架的中心部分具有两成角度的板部分,一板部分相对另一板部分的角度是在90度至180度之间的一钝角Φ。
26.如权利要求25所述的网络支架和接插板组件,其特征在于,角度Φ约是120度。
27.如权利要求20所述的网络支架和接插板组件,其特征在于,还包括安装在支架轨道之间的电缆支承杆。
