Abstract

本发明涉及一种电连接器组合,尤其是指一种与输入/输出卡配合使用的电连接器组合,其包括盒体和电连接器。该盒体设有一个收容空间、一个用于收容对接电连接器的前入口和一个用于收容印刷电路板的后部;电连接器包括一个具有安装块的基板,而安装块则设有若干个端子收容通道,端子安装在端子收容通道中以连接对接电连接器和印刷电路板。盒体和电连接器间设置有卡锁与吊钩,盒体上还设有与输入/输出卡相接插的接合狭长槽。

Description

电连接器及其组合
本发明涉及一种电连接器,尤其是指一种用于输入/输出卡的薄型插座电连接器组合。
输入/输出卡广泛应用于笔记本电脑,而这种输入/输出卡可以是存储卡或网络卡。对于网络卡,有一个附加RJ-11型的插座电连接器组合在卡上以便于与RJ-11型插头电连接器接合。但是,由于RJ-11型插座电连接器的绝缘本体具有与输入/输出卡同样的厚度,并具有一个开口以将RJ-11型插头电连接器垂直***,因此,当笔记本电脑的厚度变得越来越小时,就没有足够的空间将RJ-11型插头电连接器垂直***。此外,根据实验结果显示的数据,RJ-11型插头与插座电连接器间的***、拔回次数限于1000次以下,并且,RJ-11型插座电连接器需要提供制动器以限制RJ-11型插头电连接器的过分***。
本发明的目的是提供一种电连接器组合,该电连接器组合取代了现有的RJ-11型电连接器,并可减小与输入/输出卡配合使用后的整体厚度。
本发明的目的是通过以下的技术方案实现的:与输入/输出卡配合使用的电连接器组合,包括盒体及电连接器。该盒体靠其一对侧壁设置有一个收容空间,其上还设有一个收容对接电连接器的前入口和一个收容印刷电路板的后部。电连接器组装在收容空间内以可与对接电连接器接合,其包括一个具有成型安装块的基板,该安装块设置有若干个端子收容通道,而若干个端子则安装在端子收容通道中以连接对接电连接器和印刷电路板。由于盒体取代了现有的RJ-11型电连接器,而将插座电连接器与输入/输出卡组合在一起,从而减小了组合后的整体厚度。另外,盒体和电连接器靠近前入口之间设置有卡锁可固置对接电连接器,而设置在盒体和电连接器之间的吊钩则可将电连接器固置在盒体里,盒体上还设置有接合狭长槽以可将盒体安装在输入/输出卡里。
与现有技术相比,本发明电连接器组合取代了现有的RJ-11型电连接器,而靠其盒体将插座电连接器与输入/输出卡组合在一起,从而减小了二者配合后的整体厚度,以适应笔记本电脑小型化的需要。
下面结合附图和实施例对本发明作进一步的说明。
图1是本发明电连接器组合的立体分解图。
图2是本发明电连接器组合的另一方向的立体分解图。
图3是图1中立体分解图的组装图。
图4是一对接电连接器与图1中所示电连接器组合对接时的立体视图。
图5是对接电连接器和本发明电连接器组合组装后的立体视图。

下面请参阅图1和图6,与输入/输出卡50配合使用的电连接器组合1包括一个盒体10和一个组装于其内的电连接器20。盒体10包括一个具有平坦底板11a的主体11,该平坦底板11a具有一对沿轴向边形成的侧壁11b。收容空间12设置在侧壁11b之间用于收容电连接器20。主体11还设置有一个用于收容对接电连接器51(图4所示)的前入口11c和一个用于收容印刷电路板52的后入口11d。
请参阅图1和图4,形成于邻近前入口11c处的一对卡锁14以可分离式定位对接插头电连接器51,且每个卡锁14都设有一个偏置梁14a以连接至侧壁11b的凹区14b和一个形成于偏置梁14a上的凹座14c。在凹座14c与位于对接电连接器51舌部51a上的缺口51b接合时,偏置梁14a可提供弹性力。另外,侧壁11b上形成有突起部13,而一对突起部13则位于邻近卡锁14处。接合狭长槽16位于主体11的外边上,以可移动地将主体11组装在输入/输出卡50(图6所示)中。
再请参阅图2和图3,电连接器20组装在盒体10的收容空间12中,以与对接电连接器51相接合,其包括一个具有成型安装块22的基板21,安装块22设有若干个端子收容通道2 3,而端子24中的四个组装于端子收容通道23中,以接合对接电连接器51和印刷电路板52(图6所示)。另外,吊钩25位于基板21的轴向边上,以恰好与盒体10的突起部13接合,这样可将电连接器20安装在盒体10中。并且基板21还包括一对从安装块22沿轴向向后延伸的导引梁26。
每一个端子24包括一固置在通道23中的主体部24a、一个从安装块22向前延伸的接合部24b和一向后延伸的尾部24c。尾部24c的尖部24d位于导引梁26间所形成的空间内,这样尾部24c的尖部24d不会与***的印刷电路板52发生抵触(图7所示)。此外,每一个导引梁26包括一个倾斜部26a以便于印刷电路板52的***。
为精确控制端子24,从导引梁26之间沿轴向延伸出四个导引狭长槽21a,且每一个导引狭长槽21a均收容一个相应的端子24。
后板27从安装块22处延伸用来支撑端子24的接合部24b,该后板27还进一步包括若干个导引狭长槽27a以收容接合部24b。
图4是揭露对接电连接器51可与盒体10相组装,此时电连接器20未被组装在该盒体10内。图5所示的对接电连接器51插接在盒体10上,其中舌部51a的缺口51b与卡锁14的凹座14c相接合。
图6为电连接器组合1可移动地安装到输入/输出卡50上的立体视图。电连接器组合1可容易地安装或拆卸。
图7为沿图6中线Ⅶ-Ⅶ剖切的剖视图,自图中可容易看出端子24的尖部24d能因导引梁26而得到良好保护,这样,印刷电路板可轻易***而不会与尖部24d发生抵触,而因与***的印刷电路板52抵触所造成的端子24变形,即可有效地避免。
图8和图9是剖视图,其所示的是突起部13和吊钩25的连接情况,此处电连接器20被定位且可靠组装在盒体10中。

Claims (21)

1.一种电连接器,包括基板和若干个端子,该基板具有安装块且安装块上设有若干个端子收容通道;其特征在于:在基板轴向边上设置有至少一对与盒体接合的第一吊钩,从安装块沿轴向延伸有一个具有倾斜端的导引梁。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:端子包括一个固置于端子收容通道里的主体部,一个从安装块向前延伸的接合部,及一个向后延伸的尾部。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:在安装梁之间轴向延伸有若干个导引狭长槽,且每一个导引狭长槽均收容有端子。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:从安装块处延伸有支撑端子接合部的后板。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:后板还包括若干个收容端子接合部的导引狭长槽。
6.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:基板设有一对邻近于安装块的第二吊钩。
7.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:端子的尾部位于由导引梁确定的空间内。
8.一种盒体,包括主体,该主体包括在其轴向边上设有一对侧壁的平坦底板和一个设置在侧壁内的收容空间,主体还具有一个用于收容对接插头电连接器的前入口和一个用于收容印刷电路板传导部的后部;其特征在于:主体还包括至少一对形成于侧壁上的第一突起部,在盒体邻近主体前入口处设有用来可分离地定位对接插头电连接器的锁定装置,盒体上还设有将电连接器组装于盒体里的接合装置。
9.如权利要求8所述的盒体,其特征在于:锁定装置包括一对形成于邻近前入口处的卡锁。
10.如权利要求9所述的盒体,其特征在于:主体包括一对形成于邻近卡锁的第二突起部。
11.如权利要求9所述的盒体,其特征在于:卡锁包括一个用于连接至由内壁确定的凹区的弹性梁。
12.如权利要求11所述的盒体,其特征在于:弹性梁还包括一个凹座。
13.如权利要求12所述的盒体,其特征在于:主体包括形成于侧壁外表面上的连接装置。
14.如权利要求13所述的盒体,其特征在于:连接装置包括一个接合狭长槽。
15.一种电连接器组合,包括盒体和电连接器。盒体具有主体,而主体包括有在其轴向边上设有一对侧壁的平坦底板和一个设置在侧壁内的收容空间,主体还具有一个用于收容对接插头电连接器的前入口和一个用于收容印刷电路板传导部的后部,该电连接器包括基板和若干个导电端子,基板具有安装块且安装块上设有若干个端子收容通道;其特征在于:盒体和邻近电连接器前入口之间设有定位对接电连接器的锁定装置,盒体和电连接器之间设有将电连接器组装于盒体里的接合装置,盒体上还设有可移动地将盒体置于输入/输出卡里的连接装置。
16.如权利要求15所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:盒体和基板间形成有一对导引印刷电路板的导引梁。
17.如权利要求16所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:每一个端子包括一个固置于通道的主体部、一个从安装块向前延伸的接合部及一个向后延伸的尾部。
18.如权利要求17所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:端子尾部的尖部位于由导引梁确定的空间里。
19.如权利要求15所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:前述的锁定装置为一对定位对接电连接器的卡锁。
20.如权利要求15所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:前述的接合装置为设置于基板轴向边上的吊钩。
21.如权利要求15所述的电连接器组合,其特征在于:前述的连接装置为设置于主体外边上的接合狭长槽。
