Abstract

一种具有除臭和调节湿度的纸制容器,因而一般能够保持各种食品的新鲜度和香味,特别是其中所贮存的生的、容易腐烂的食物。纸制容器是由纸板制成,包括一种纸基质和在纸基质的一侧面上涂布的一层活性炭粉,这样当形成容器时,活性炭层便处于纸制容器的内表面上。活性炭层具有除臭和调节湿度的功能,因而有可能在长的时间范围内保持贮存在其中的食物的新鲜度和香味。

Description

包装纸及纸制容器
本发明涉及包装纸及纸制容器,用于贮存和容装生的、新鲜的食品和其它一般食物。
纸制容器容易制造并且通过适当地选择所使用纸的质量和厚度便能制成所需要的形状和尺寸。它们也价廉和在使用后容易处理。因而它们用作许多领域中的包装。
包装纸还有用于包装各种食品的各种用途。
纸制容器和包装纸可用来例如贮存食品如生食品或烹饪好的食品。对这种应用来说,由于食品直接与纸表面接触,所以纸制容器和包装纸必须用安全材料制成。还需要足够的强度。
因而,用作纸制容器的纸具有一种涂层薄膜例如丙烯酸树脂涂布于它们的表面上用于增强和防水。
即使这种涂层能使包装物增强和防水,但却没有除臭(味)和湿度控制功能。如果这种容器用作例如午餐盒,盒中各种食物所发放出的气味彼此趋于移串,因而减弱了每种食物的味道。
而且,缺乏湿度控制功能会使午餐盒中松脆的食品吸收由其它食物中流出的水份,在短时间内减弱香味和损失新鲜度。
传统的食品包装纸或纸板只是印刷纸片,因而没有除味或湿度控制功能。
本发明的目的是提供一种具有脱除气味和水份调节功能的包装纸和纸容器,因而一般能够保持食品新鲜度和香味,特别是包裹在其中的生的、容易腐烂的食物的鲜香味。
根据本发明,已提供了一种包装纸,该包装纸包括一种纸质基质和在纸质基质一个侧面上涂布的一层活性炭粉。
本发明的其它特征和目的可由以下参照附图的描述而得到清楚的了解。

优选实施例的详细描述
图1是表示实施本发明的纸制容器。它是由一种纸或纸板3如卡片纸板并在其一个侧面上通过涂布活性炭粉形成一层活性炭层2而制成。纸或纸板3被制成一个盒子,使涂布有活性炭层2的表面作为盒子的内面。
所使用的纸板的质量和厚度以及纸制容器的结构、尺寸和设计都无限制,可按照应用来选择。
而且,纸板3可制成一种纸袋,或可用作一种包装纸材料。
图2表示具有活性炭层2的纸板3的剖面。活性炭层是由混合的炭粉形成,炭粉具有直径约200μm,炭粉是以1至3的重量比例加入熔化的丙烯酸树脂中,将此炭粉和树脂的混合物涂布在纸板3的一侧面上,厚度例如为0.05mm。实施本发明的包装纸或纸袋,也可以相同的方式制成。
用作活性炭层2的活性炭粉2a优选是称为备长炭(BINCHOTAN)并含95%以上碳的最高质量的活性炭、粉碎成粒径为约200μm的粉末而形成。另一方面,当备长炭用料切割产生的碎片,通常被丢弃,也可使用。
活性炭层2的形成,可通过将熔化的丙烯酸树脂和活性炭粉2a的混合物用一个已知的工具如压辊涂布成一适当厚度。其厚度,根据炭粉2a的粒径优选0.05mm,所使用的丙烯酸树脂是,例如一种丙烯酸类一苯乙烯共聚物、一种醇溶剂、水及少量添加剂的混合物。丙烯酸树脂是用作粘合剂来粘合活性炭粉2a于纸板3上,并且也用来使纸板3增强和防水。
如果炭粉2a的粒径超过200μm,则活性炭层2的表面趋于太粗糙,因而降低了产品的商品价值。如果活性炭粉2a与丙烯酸树脂的比例大于1至3,则炭粉2a趋于脱离层2。如果此比例过低,则活性炭的功能不足。
如果活性炭层2的厚度大于0.05mm,则容易开裂。
本发明的包装纸和纸制容器是用来贮存和包装例如新鲜的、生的食品及其它一般食品。
活性炭层2具有脱除臭味、湿度控制及吸附气体的功能,并且即使当各种食物直接与该炭层2接触也是安全的、无害的。
图3是确证活性炭层除臭功能所进行实验的结果。
将其上涂布有活性炭层的卡片纸板和没有活性炭的卡片纸板,切割成相同的尺寸大小,然后放入分开的各取样器中,并将硫化氢气体引入各取样器中以增加内部压力至大气压。利用气体检测管按预定时间间隔测量硫化氢气体的浓度。
在纸板上形成活性炭层,方法是将粒径为约200μm的活性炭与用量比率为1至3的丙烯酸树脂进行混合并涂布在卡片纸板的一侧面上,厚度为0.05mm。
从图3可清楚地看出,在放有本发明样品的取样器中,即放有带活性炭层样品的取样器中,硫化氢气体的浓度与不含活性炭层的样品的取样器中的硫化氢气体浓度相比,要低数个ppm。这清楚地说明本发明样品的除臭或脱除气味的功能。
在下面的实施中,将一些蔬菜和水果放在两个纸制容器中,一个容器的内表面涂覆有本发明的活性炭层,而另一容器的内表面没有涂覆这样的活性炭层。将分别在这两个容器中存放的蔬菜和水果以预定的时间间隔进行摄影以测定它们的新鲜度。所使用的活性炭层与在脱除气味实验中所使用的相同。
这种试验的结果,发现按照本发明制成的纸制容器中的蔬菜和水果,与没有活性炭层的容器中的蔬菜和水果相比,保持新鲜度有更长的时间周期。它们保持蔬菜和水果新鲜度时间更长的原因,是由于活性炭通过吸收和释放水份将蔬菜和水果中的水含量保持在一恒定水平上。另一个原因是,活性炭能够吸附乙烯气体和其它腐败的气体。活性炭层还能改善容器的耐水性和耐油性。
至于具有活性炭层的纸板的安全性,实施本发明的纸板己满足了日本福利***(第20号通知)关于铅、镉、重金属含量、及高锰酸钾消耗的所有要求。
这种活性炭具有脱除气味和控制湿度的功能。因而具有这种活性炭层的容器能够保鲜一般食品及生的特别是容易腐烂的食品于更长的时间周期,并保持它们新鲜和无气味(臭)。亦即活性炭层能防止容器中各种食物产生的气味彼此移串,因而能长时间保持它们的原来香味。而且,活性炭能将容器中的湿度保持在所希望的水平,能使所含食物长时间保持新鲜。

Claims (5)

1.一种包装纸,其特征在于含有一种纸基质和在所述纸基质的一侧面上涂布有一层活性炭粉末。
2.如权利要求1所述的包装纸,其特征在于所述的活性炭粉末层是由3重量份的丙烯酸树脂和1重量份的活性炭粉末的混合物制成,活性炭粉具有粒径为200μm,层厚度为0.05mm。
3.一种纸制容器,其特征在于是由一种纸板制成并在纸制容器的内表面上涂布一层活性炭粉。
4.一种由纸板形成的纸制容器,其特征在于该纸板包含有一种纸基质和在所述纸基质一侧面上涂布的一层活性炭粉,这样当形成容器时所述的活性炭层便成为容器的内表面。
5.如权利要求3或4所述的纸制容器,其特征在于所述的活性炭层是由3重量份的丙烯酸树脂和1重量份的活性炭粉的混合物所制成,活性炭粉具有粒径为200μm和层厚度0.05mm。
