Abstract
一种香味发生装置,包括:具有空气吸入口和香味吸取口、在吸入口与吸取口之间形成气体流路的小室;用于贮存含有香味物质的液体的、基本上保持在大气压下的液体容器;具有与液体流体连通的第一端部和与气体流路流体连通的第二端部、利用毛细管力将液体由液体容器导出到第二端部的液体流路;以及设置在液体流路的第二端部、通过加热来自液体容器中的液体使之气化的加热器。
Description
本发明涉及一种以吸取香味或以模拟吸烟为乐趣的香味发生装置,更具体地说,本发明涉及一种不需要燃烧、通过加热液体而产生引取对象物质的香味的香味发生装置。
通过加热香味原料而使之气化,享受其香味的香味发生装置已经是公知的技术,以往曾提出过各种不同类型的这类装置。
例如,日本专利公开平3-232481号公报中公开了一种现有的模拟吸烟物品的典型的构思。在该香味发生装置中,使用棒状的固体香味发生源,用加热元件加热该固体原料,产生带有香味等的吸取对象物。在这种类型的装置中,如果固体原料连接不断地被加热,有许多原料白白被耗费掉,反之,如果在使用者要吸取而加热固体原料时,则使用者开始吸取与香味产生的时间不吻合,两者之间的时间差距较大。
作为解决上述问题的香味发生装置的一个例子,日本专利公开平3-277265号公报中公开了一种具有分割成许多部分的固体状原料的香味送出物品。在该香味发生装置中,根据使用者的每一次吸取动作依次加热固体状原料的各部分,产生香味等吸取对象物质。该装置的固体状原料与加热元件构成整体的香味发生媒介物,因此,在原料被消耗之后,不得不将加热元件与原料一起更换或者将其废弃,无论从经济角度还是从环境角度来看都是不利的。
美国专利第4,945,931号公报中公开了一种使用加压烟雾剂容器的类似吸烟物品,在该模拟吸烟物品中,随着使用者的吸取动作,叶片摆动,容器的出口被机械地打开,释放出烟雾剂。另外,在该公报中,作为一种变型例,还公开了在容器出口附近设置加热原件,用于加热因气化热而冷却的烟雾剂。这样的模拟吸烟物品,利用随着使用者的吸取动作程度而开闭的阀门将加压状态的烟雾剂封闭在容器内,故一旦阀门打开,烟雾剂就会大量泄漏出来。也就是说,在该现有技术物品中,不能做到每次吸取时释放出适当的、一定量的烟雾剂,只要两、三次吸取动作,加压的烟雾剂就可能全部释放出来。
本发明是鉴于上述问题而提出的,本发明的目的在于提供一种可以以低的能量驱动,香味原料不容易浪费并且使用者每次吸取动作与香味的产生容易同步进行的香味发生装置。
本发明的另一目的在于提供一种可以实现小型且轻量的香味发生装置。
本发明提供了一种香味发生装置,包括:一个小室,该小室具有用于将空气吸入内部的空气吸入口和供使用者吸取香味的吸取口,在该吸入口与该吸取口之间形成气体流路;用于贮存含有香味物质的液体、大体上保持在大气压下的液体容器;具有与该液体形成流体连通的第一端部和与该气体流路流体连通的第二端部,利用毛细管力将该液体从上述液体容器导出到上述第二端部的液体流路;以及设置在该液体流路的第二端部、通过加热从该液体容器中导出的液体而使之气化的加热器。
在本发明涉及的香味发生装置中,利用毛细管力将含有香味物质的液体(液状香味发生源)从液体容器中吸出,沿着液体流路输送,在液体流路的出口端,先到的液状香味发生源被气化,由于毛细管力的作用将后续的液体香味发生源自动地供给到液体流路的出口端部。因此,本发明可以提供一种以低的能量驱动、不易造成香味发生源浪费、并且使用者每次吸取与香味的产生容易同步进行的香味发生装置。特别是,根据来自检测使用者吸取动作的传感器发出的信号控制加热器,可以经常稳定地提供香味。

本发明是通过毛细管力将液体香味发生源从容纳该液体香味发生源的液体容器输送到加热器部位的。
在本发明中,利用毛细管力输送液体香味发生源的液体流路可以由至少一个毛细管的内部构成,或者由至少两个平行平板之间的间隙构成,或者由填充在至少一个壳体内部的连通孔隙结构体构成。上述连通孔隙结构是这样一种结构,它具有孔隙,利用毛细管力、通过这些孔隙将液体从与容纳在液体容器中的液体香味发生源流体连通的流路的入口端提升到流路的出口端的结构。其有代表性的例子是连续气泡发泡结构、纤维集束结构等,但不限于这些例子。
从液体香味发生源的液面到液体流路的出口端的垂直方向的高度,是在可以利用毛细管力将液体香味发生源提升的高度范围内,该高度可以根据液体香味发生源的物性和液体流路的宽度(对于毛细管来说是其直径,对于平行平板来说是平板间隙的宽度)来确定。在流路是倾斜的情况下,其高度不是流路的长度,而是从液体香味发生源的液面到流路出口端的垂直方向的长度。
该高度h可以按下面的公式求出。
h=2γcosθ/dpg (1)式中,γ是液体香味发生源的表面张力,θ是液体香味发生源与构成流路的物质的接触角,d是流路的宽度,p是液体香味发生源的密度,g是重力加速度。
在液体流路由连通孔隙结构构成的情况下,高度h的计算不能直接使用上述(1)式。在这种场合,用连通孔隙结构中孔隙的平均直径作为d,(1)式才能适用。
另外,随着液体香味发生源的气化(包括因加热引起的气化),液体香味发生源的液面降低,因此,该高度最好是考虑液体香味发生源的可能的最低液面来确定。此外,液体流路的入口端最好是位于液体容器的最低面或其附近的位置。这样,即使是最低的液面也可以接触上。
如上所述,在本发明中,利用毛细管力将液体香味发生源从液体容器中提升到流路的出口端,因此,液体容器内的液体香味发生源的液面最好是基本上处于大气压下。在容器的上部通过形成与通常处于大气压下的容器外部环境连通的贯通孔、例如通过形成针孔可以使液体容器内保持在大气压下。
下面,参照附图说明本发明的几个实施例。
图1是表示本发明的第一实施例的香味发生装置的结构简图。在该香味发生装置10中,液体流路是由毛细管构成的。
如图1所示,所述香味发生装置10具有由塑料、金属、陶瓷或木材等材料构成的外壳12。利用隔板13将外壳12内部划分成上部室121和下部室122。如同下面所述,上部室121被用来作为形成供使用者吸取香味的气流使用的气体流路20,下部室122被用来作为容纳液体容器32、电源44和控制电路46的空间。
在外壳12的上部室121的一侧设置中空圆筒形的吸口夹持器14。在夹持器14中可以***具有供使用者吸取香味的吸取口22的吸咀16,吸咀16可以随意安装或拆卸。由于吸咀16要直接放入使用者的口中,因而用塑料或木材等材料而构成。另外,也可以在夹持器14中***香烟用过滤咀那样的过滤咀等以代替上述吸咀16。
在上部室121的另一侧形成空气吸入口18,用于将空气吸入上部室121的内部。在上部室121内即外壳12内、在空气吸入口18与吸取口22之间形成气体流路20。空气吸入口18可以设定成具有与预定的空气吸入量相应的开口面积。另外,在空气吸入口18的周围的外壳12上还可以设置本身已知的具有若干个开口的空气流量调节环(图中未示出)。在这种情况下,通过调节调节环与空气吸入口18的相对位置,可以调节进入空气流路20内的空气流量。
在空气流路20内靠近空气吸入口18附近设置中央部位带有节流孔24a的节流板14。节流板24上的节流孔24a的作用是,限制从空气吸入口18进入的空气,使之选择性地流向下面所述的毛细管36的出口端部36b。
毛细管36的出口端部36b与吸取口22之间可以作为构成气体流路20的一部分的冷却室21。与冷却室21相对应,在上部室121的顶板上形成外部空气导入孔26。被加热器42加热的含有香味的气体,在冷却室21中与外部空气混合而被冷却,到达吸取口22。外部空气导入口26设置成具有与预定的外部空气导入量相应的开口面积。另外,如图1所示,在外部空气导入孔26周围的外壳12上还可以设置具有若干个开口(图中未示出)的调节活门28。在这种情况下,通过调节调节活门28与外部空气导入孔26的相对位置,可以调节进入冷却室21内的外部气体流量。
此外,在冷却室21与吸取口22之间的气体流路20内可以设置过滤器(图中未示出),覆盖住吸取口22。通过设置过滤器,调整压力损耗,可以适度吸取。过滤器可以由醋酸纤维素、纸浆等普通香烟过滤咀材料构成。
外壳12的下部室122内容纳有盛放液体香味发生源的容器32。液体容器32内贮存有液体香味发生源34,其数量相当于使用者若干次吸取的吐出量。液体香味发生源34至少含有香味物质。为了在香味中添加烟雾,液体香味发生源34可以含有加热时产生烟雾剂的物质。产生烟雾剂的物质可以使用醇类、糖类、水或上述两种以上的混合物。所使用的醇类例如可以是丙三醇、丙二醇或它们的混合物。
也就是说,根据其用途,液体香味发生源34可以含有各种天然物质的提取物和/或它们的构成成分。例如,将本发明的香味发生装置作为模拟吸烟物品时,液体香味发生源34中可以含有烟草提取物成分或烟草的烟凝结成分等烟草成分。
在液体容器32内***毛细管36,利用毛细管力输送液体香味发生源34。毛细管36的内部形成液体香味发生源34的液体流路37,其下端部36a延伸到液体容器32的底部附近。
在考虑上述液体香味发生源34的情况下,毛细管36的内径是0.01mm-3mm,优选的是0.05mm-1mm,最好是0.1mm-0.8mm。
为了进一步确保利用毛细管力输送液体,在液体容器32上设有与空气连通的开口33,以便使其内部保持在大气压下。在本发明装置通常的使用过程中,该开口33设置在容器32最高的位置处,其直径足够的小,即使将该装置倒过来,液体香味发生源34也不会从容器中漏出。例如,该开口33可以是贯穿容器32的针孔。
毛细管36的上端、即液体香味发生源的出口端36b伸出到外壳12的上部室121内、节流板24下游侧不远的地方,在液体香味发生源出口端36b上设置有用于使液体香味发生源34气化的加热器42。在图1所示的状态下,加热器42与毛细管36连接在一起设置,由具有与毛细管36相同内径的管状体构成,这样,液体流路37的出口端部36b由加热器42本身构成。
加热器42由可任意安装或拆卸地设置在外壳12的下部室122内的电源44供电。电源44最好是直流电源,例如由市售的一次电池(干电池)、二次电池(充电电池)等构成。电源44也可以是交流电源。另外,电源44也可以安装在外壳12的外侧,或者另外设置,用电线与外壳12连接。
加热器42和电源44由固定在下部室122内的控制电路46进行驱动控制。控制电路46上连接有可使加热器强制接通的加热器用开关48和用于检测使用者的吸取动作的传感器52。另外,电源44上可以连接用于使电源44ON/OFF的电源开关50。
加热器用开关48和电源开关50都可以设置在外壳12的下部室122的外侧面上。
在不使用本装置时,可以手动将开关50切换成关闭的状态,将本装置强制关闭。当然,在使用本装置时,首先将电源开关50打开。另外,在开通电源44后将加热器电源48切换成开,此时可以与后面所述的传感器52检测吸取动作相独立地强制起动加热器42。即,开动电源44后,将加热器用开关48切换成开通状态,由此可以使加热器42加热,当控制电路46检测到加热器开关48处于开通状态时,就停止传感器52的工作。
加热器用开关48和电源开关50都可以由与具有电接点的微限开关等普通小型的压下式开关同样的机构构成。
用于检测使用者的吸取动作的传感器52,设置在外壳12的上部室121内,位于节流板24和加热器42之间。传感器52可以使用通过电阻变化、电容变化、压电电动势等检测由于使用者吸取而引起的上部室121内的压力变化的一般的压敏传感器,或者使用检测上部室121内的气流的摆动叶片型传感器。
控制电路46,根据来自加热器用开关48的信号或者根据来自传感器52信号,与使用者的吸取动作同步地开动加热器42,使毛细管的出口端部36b的液体香味发生源34气化。控制电路46的信号处理和控制方式例如可以是公知的模拟控制、双位控制或它们的组合。
在液体容器32上设有用于检测液体香味发生源34的剩余量的液量传感器54。传感器54可以由检测因液体香味发生源34的剩余量的变化而引起的液体容器32的导电性的变化的接触型传感器构成。另外,为了让使用者知道液体容器32内的液体香味发生源34的剩余量已经不多了,在外壳12的下部室122的外侧面上设置电气显示装置,例如由发光二极管构成的指示灯56。液量传感器54和指示灯56连接到控制电路46上,在控制电路46的控制之下进行操作。
为了根据传感器54的信号告之使用者液体香味发生源34的量已经不多了,除了点亮指示灯56以外,还可以锁住电子锁,使吸取动作不能进行。另外,传感器54还可以是例如根据超声波的反射率的变化来测定液体香味发生源34的剩余量的变化的非接触式传感器。
在液体容器32上,设置有用于补给液体香味发生源34的注入口58。注入口58的端部露出到外壳12的外侧,可以从外部向液体容器32内补给液体香味发生源。通常,该注入口的露出端上设有可以取下的盖59。如上所述,液体容器32的储存容量相当于使用者几次吸取的吐出量的液体香味发生源34。但是,如上所述,由于可以补给液体香味发生源,因此不需要更换液体容器32,可以继续使用本发明的香味发生装置。
另外,也可以代替液量传感器54,在外壳12的侧壁上对应于液体容器32的部分设置透明的观察窗(图未示出),以便观察液体容器32内的剩余量。在这种情况下,液体容器32本身也必须由透明或半透明的容器构成。这样,通过观察窗就可以监视液体容器32内的液体香味发生源34的剩余量,另外,作为监视液体容器32内的剩余量的结构,还可以采用用棱镜光学地检测剩余量的方法。
下面,说明图1所示的香味发生装置10的一种操作方式。在该操作方式中,加热器用开关48是关闭的。
在使用图1所示的香味发生装置10吸取香味时,使用者首先打开电源开关50,将吸咀16放入口中,从吸取口22中吸取。此时,由传感器52向控制电路46发出吸取动作信号,在控制电路46的控制下,由电源44向加热器42通电,开通加热器42。
这时,利用毛细管力将液体香味发生源34输送到毛细管36的出口端部36b,形成图2(a)所示的状态,在该状态下,加热器42被接通,如图2(b)所示,出口端部36b内的液体香味发生源34被加热器42加热,瞬间内气化,被供给到气体流路20内。如图2(c)所示,当出口端部36b内的液体香味发生源34被加热器42加热而气化时,新的液体香味发生源34由于毛细管力的作用从液体容器32被送到毛细管36的出口端部36b。这样,毛细管36的出口端部36b的液体香味发生源34的供给和气化经得以反复进行。
被气化了的液体香味发生源,与伴随使用者的吸取动作由空气吸入口18经过节流孔24a到达毛细管36的出口端部36b附近的主吸入空气相混合,被输送到吸取口22。必要时在吸取过程中通过调节活门28来改变从外部空气导入孔26导入的空气量。这样,可以改变到达吸口22的含有香味的空气的气味,使之符合使用者个人的爱好。
图3到图5是分别表示用于供给液体香味发生源34并使之气化的结构的变型例的立体图。
在图3所示的结构中配置有环状的加热器72,覆盖住毛细管36的出口端部122。
在图4所示的结构中配置有棒状的加热器74,该加热器74被***到毛细管36的出口端部122内。
在图5所示的结构中配置有板状的加热器76,该加热器76被***到毛细管36的出口端部122内。无论使用上述的哪一种结构,都可以获得参照图1所示的第一实施例所描述的作用。
图6和图7是分别表示用于供给液体香味发生源34并使之气化的结构的另一不同的变型例的立体图。
在图6所示的结构中,液体容器32上面连接有三根毛细管36,并且各毛细管36的出口端部122内***了图4所示的棒状加热器74。
在图7所示的结构中,液体容器32上面连接有三根毛细管36,毛细管36的出口端部36b上安装有加热器框架92。与三个出口端部36b相对应,加热器框架92具有图5中所示的板状加热器76。另外,加热器框架92上,在毛细管36之间沿着毛细管36的长度方向形成空气流路孔94。在这种结构中,可以将空气与香味气体充分进行混合。
图8是表示利用两个平行板之间的间隙构成液体流路的本发明另一实施例的香味发生装置的结构简图。图9是放大表示图8中沿IX-IX线的剖视图。图10是将图8所示装置的液体流路和加热器部分与液体容器一起表示的立体图。在图8至图10中,与图1相同的部分用同一符号表示,并省略其说明。
图8所示的香味发生装置100,不是象图1装置中的上部室121和下部室122那样,由隔板13将一个壳体12划分成两部分而成,而是分别构成各室。下部室122具有倾斜的上表面,沿着其倾斜的上表面,作为一个整体、相应倾斜地安装有一端(下端)封闭的圆筒状上部室121。用隔板131将下部室122划分成容纳控制电路46的上部小室122a和容纳电源44的下部小室122b。在图8所示的装置中,电器配线与图1所示装置的情况基本上是相同的,在图8中没有示出。
在上部室121的封闭端(下端)面上设置有与图1所示同样的空气吸入孔18。另外,在上部室121的另一端(上端)开口部,安装有可以不通过夹持器直接安装或拆卸的圆筒状吸咀161。吸咀161的圆周面上带的突起161a,与上部室121的端面嵌合,以使吸咀161在***到上部室121内的中途止住。另外,在上部室121的上壁上设置有吸咀传感器101,用于检测吸咀161是否充分***上部室121内。这样的位置检测传感器101本身是已知的。在吸咀161内可以***过滤咀102,从对应于突起161a的位置延伸到顶端。
另外,上部室121内设置有可以更换的小型液体容器32,用于容纳液体香味发生源34,该容器具有与图1所示的开口33同样的开口(图中未示出),并且该容器不堵塞空气吸入口18。与该液体容器32中的液体香味发生源流体连通地设置供液体香味发生源34用的液体流路371。在图8所示的装置中,液体流路371由隔开一定间隔设置的两个平行平板361和362的间隙构成。液体流路371的顶端部(液体香味发生源的出口端部)被与平板361和362连在一起设置的两个板状电加热器421和422加热。
即,如图10所示,两个平板361和362被隔开一定间距平行地设置,二者之间具有产生毛细管力的间隙。该间隙最好是0.01mm-2.0mm。在图10所示的状态下,平板状加热器421和422与平板361和362分别具有同样的厚度,它们之间的间隔也是相同的。因此,在这种情况下,液体流路371的出口端部是由加热器421和422构成的。
当然,在本发明中,由平行平板限定的液体流路其侧面用塑料膜或金属箔等密封材料(图中未示出)气密地密封住,使得液体香味发生源不会从其侧面泄漏或蒸发。
再看图8,在包含加热器的、构成液体流路371的平板的、从容器32伸出部分的周围配置有筒状体103,该筒状体103与上述平板之间留有一定的间隙,并一直延伸到平板的顶端,其底端带有与上部室121的内壁嵌合的凸缘103a。如图9所示,筒状体103的截面可以是矩形的,它与上述平板之间形成空气流路104。该空气流路(空气导向通路)104,使由在上部室121的封闭端面上穿设的空气吸入口18被使用者吸入的空气沿着该通路,裹挟着在液体流路出口端被气化的香味发生源向吸口方向流去。这样,气化了的液体香味发生源不会凝结,附着在上部室121的内壁上,即使有的话,也只是在吸咀161的内壁上有微量的凝结和附着,因此,香味发生源得到了有效的利用,通过清扫或更换吸咀,可以从本装置中除去附着的香味发生源。另外,通过设置这种将空气集中地(选择性地)导向在液体流路出口端气化的香味发生源的空气流路104,在香味发生源中含有烟雾发生物质时,由于通过空气流路104的空气流而气化的香味发生源与该空气的混合以及由此而引起的冷却可以同时有效地进行,从而进一步提高了烟雾生成效果。
此外,在筒状体103的下游一侧、液体容器32的上游一侧可以设置空气流量调节标度盘105。使用者可以利用该空气流量调节标度盘105选定适合个人需要的空气流量,从而设定所希望的吸取阻力。另外,如图8所示,在本发明的香味发生装置上还可以设置与控制电路46连接的、显示电源44剩余量的显示机构106。
图11是表示用于供给液体香味发生源并使之气化的图10的结构的变型例的立体图。在图11中,平板状加热器423和424设置在限定液体流路371的平板361和362的相对的表面部分内。
图12是表示本发明的香味发生装置中用于供给液体香味发生源并使之气化的结构的另一变型例的立体图,图13是沿图12中ⅩⅢ-ⅩⅢ线的剖视图。图12所示的结构的是,从上部室121下侧贯通其周壁,下侧部分与图10所示相同,构成与液体容器32内的液体香味发生源流体连接的液体流路371,其两个平行平板361、362与两个平板状加热器421、422伸出到上部室121内。上部室的一端是封闭的,在该封闭的壁上形成上部室121与外部空气连通的空气流路201。如图13所示,空气流路201沿着加热器421、422的外周缘部分形成。空气流路201由上部流路201a和侧部流路201b、201c构成,上部流路201a的横向长度比平板361或362的宽度稍大,侧部流路201b、201c与上部流路201a连通,并从其两端延伸到加热器421、422的下端。利用该流器201可以获得与图8或图9所示的空气流路104同样的效果。
图14是表示本发明的香味发生装置中供液体香味发生源用的液体流路的又一实施例的剖视图。液体流路372由填充在向上延伸的壳体301内的连通孔隙结构302构成。壳体301可以由管子或彼此留出间隔配置的、侧面密封的两个平板提供。在这种情况下,可以按图1、图10或图11所示配置加热器(图中未示出)。另外,如图15所示,连通孔隙结构302也可以从壳体301的顶端伸出,在连通孔隙结构的伸出顶端上配置加热器425。
以上,为了便于理解,通过几个实施例或变型例分别说明了本发明的各部分的特征,不言而喻,这些特征可以根据使用目的适当地加以组合。即,在本发明构思的范围内,可以采用图中所示实施例以外的各种方案。
如上所述,本发明可以提供能以低能量驱动、香味原料不易浪费并且使用者每次吸取动作与香味的产生容易同步进行的香味发生装置。
Claims (9)
1.一种香味发生装置,其特征在于,该装置包括:一个小室,该小室具有用于将空气吸入内部的空气吸入口和供使用者吸取香味的吸取口,在该吸入口与该吸取口之间形成气体流路;用于贮存含有香味物质的液体、大体上保持在大气压下的液体容器;具有与该液体形成流体连通的第一端部和与该气体流路形成流体连通的第二端部、利用毛细管力将该液体从上述液体容器导出到上述第二端部的液体流路;以及设置在该液体流路的第二端部、用于加热从该液体容器中导出的液体而使之气化的加热器。
2.如权利要求1所述的香味发生装置,其特征在于,所述液体流路是由毛细管构成的。
3.如权利要求1所述的香味发生装置,其特征在于,所述液体流路是由彼此隔开一定间距配置的、至少两个以上的平行面之间形成的间隙构成的。
4.如权利要求1所述的香味发生装置,其特征在于,所述液体流路是由填充在壳体内的连通孔隙结构构成的。
5.如权利要求1或2所述的香味发生装置,其特征在于,所述加热器设置在液体流路的顶端部。
6.如权利要求2所述的香味发生装置,其特征在于,所述毛细管设置有多根,各毛细管上配置有加热器。
7.如权利要求1-6中任一项所述的香味发生装置,其特征在于,具有用于检测使用者的吸取动作的检测手段和根据该检测手段发出的信号,在使用者的吸取动作开始时控制所述加热器驱动的控制机构。
8.如权利要求1-7中任一项所述的香味发生装置,其特征在于,所述气体流路使空气选择性地流向该液体流路的第二端部。
9.如权利要求1-8中任一项所述的香味发生装置,其特征在于,所述液体容器设置成可以更换的。
