Detailed Description
In order to make the technical problems, technical solutions and advantageous technical effects to be solved by the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be further described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and a plurality of exemplary embodiments. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples are intended for purposes of illustration only and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.
Fig. 1 schematically shows a steering wheel 1 of a vehicle according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 1, a steering wheel 1 of a vehicle according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention has: a rim 10 for the driver to grasp; and at least one first steering rotator 11 (only one first steering rotator 11 is schematically shown in the drawings), the first steering rotator 11 being mounted on the rim 10 as a first rotation section of the rim 10 and being configured to be adapted to be coupled with a vehicle brake system to allow a deceleration or braking operation of the vehicle to be controlled by manual rotation. In other words, the first steering rotator 11 is mounted as a rotatable section of the rim 10 extending along the main extension of the rim 10, which is rotatable about its tangential direction at the mounting location on the rim 10, so that a driver can easily perform a rotational operation on the first steering rotator 11 while holding the rim 10. In addition, the first steering wheel 11 may be coupled with the vehicle brake system in any known manner so that the rotation amount or rotational angular velocity of the first steering wheel 11 can be detected or recognized and converted into a brake operation amount of the brake system of the vehicle accordingly, whereby the deceleration of the vehicle or braking can be changed by controlling the rotation of the first steering wheel 11.
The steering wheel 1 of the vehicle according to the preferred embodiment of the invention may also have at least one second steering wheel 12, which second steering wheel 12 is also mounted on the rim 10 as a rotating section of the rim 10, in particular as a second rotating section, in a different position on the rim 10 than the first rotating section, similar to the first steering wheel 11. The second steering rotator 12 is configured and adapted to be coupled to a vehicle acceleration system to allow control of the acceleration operation of the vehicle by manual rotation. Similarly, the second steering rotator 12 is also mounted as a rotatable section of the rim 10 extending along the main extension of the rim 10, which is rotatable about its tangential direction at the mounting location on the rim 10, so that a driver can easily perform a rotational operation on the second steering rotator 12 while holding the rim 10. Furthermore, the second steering wheel 12 may be coupled to the vehicle acceleration system in any known manner so that the amount of rotation or rotational angular velocity of the second steering wheel 12 can be detected or identified and converted into the acceleration operation amount or throttle operation amount of the acceleration system of the vehicle accordingly, whereby the acceleration of the vehicle can be changed by controlling the rotation of the second steering wheel 12.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the first steering wheel 11 and the second steering wheel 12 act exclusively on each other. That is, when the first steering wheel 11 is steered after the second steering wheel 12 is steered, the previous manipulation amount of the second steering wheel 12 is invalidated, and vice versa, to ensure that the vehicle can be steered clearly and sensitively.
According to some preferred embodiments of the present invention, the shape, size, color, surface material, surface shape and/or rotational damping of the first steering wheel 11 and the second steering wheel 12 may be different.
In an alternative example, the first steering rotation member 11 may have a cylindrical shape or a drum shape with a bulged middle portion, etc., while the second steering rotation member 12 may have a truncated conical shape or a polygonal prism shape, etc., although the shape of the outer shape of both is not limited thereto, and any shape that can distinguish them from each other and from other sections of the rim 10 may be employed.
In an alternative example, the first steering wheel 11 and the second steering wheel 12 may differ in length along the rim 10 and/or in diameter themselves, for example the first steering wheel 11 may be configured to extend longer along the rim 10 than the second steering wheel 12, while also being larger in diameter, thereby helping the driver to distinguish the two steering wheels by touch alone.
In an alternative example, one or both of the first and second steering rotors 11, 12 may be of a different color than the other sections of the rim 10, and the color therebetween may be different, for example, the first steering rotor 11 for controlling deceleration may be red and the second steering rotor 12 for controlling acceleration may be green, thereby enabling the driver to quickly locate the position of the steering rotor on the rim 10.
In an alternative example, the surface materials and/or surface textures of the first steering wheel 11 and the second steering wheel 12 may also be different from each other, or may be different from other sections of the rim 10. For example, one of them is a mixed material of leather and plastic, and for example, the plastic part is formed with regularly arranged protrusions, and the other is a mixed material of rubber and metal, and the surface is formed with raised lines. Such a configuration is also intended to assist the driver in discerning the two steering rotations only by touch.
In an alternative example, the rotational damping of the first steering rotator 11 and the second steering rotator 12 may be different, alternatively both may be adjustable, but one is always higher or lower than the other. For example, the rotational damping of the first steering wheel 11 is set to be always lower than that of the second steering wheel 12, so that the deceleration operation is more sensitive than the acceleration operation, or conversely, the acceleration operation is more sensitive than the deceleration operation, which can be judged and set by the driver himself.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, as shown in fig. 1, the first steering wheel 11 and/or the second steering wheel 12 are located in the upper half area of the rim 10 in the normal state of the steering wheel 1. Alternatively, the first steering wheel 11 and the second steering wheel 12 are arranged symmetrically left and right in the normal position of the steering wheel 1. Additionally or alternatively, the central angle between the first steering wheel 11 and the second steering wheel 12 is 110 to 150 degrees. This makes it possible for the driver to easily touch and operate the two steering wheels manually when holding the steering wheel 1 with his hands. It is of course also possible to provide additional first actuating levers 11 and/or second actuating levers 12 in the lower half region of the rim 10 in the normal position of the steering wheel 1, in order to meet different driving habits and demands.
In an alternative example, the first steering rotator 11 is located on the left hand side of the steering wheel 1 in the normal position of the steering wheel 1 and/or the second steering rotator 12 is located on the right hand side of the steering wheel 1 in the normal position of the steering wheel 1, so that the driver can control the vehicle acceleration by the right hand, and the vehicle deceleration by the left hand, in accordance with the common driving habit. Of course, the mounting positions of the first steering wheel 11 and the second steering wheel 12 can also be reversed to meet different driving habits and demands.
With the steering wheel 1 of the vehicle according to the above embodiments of the present invention, a set of vehicle speed control modes can be added to the original accelerator pedal and brake pedal of the vehicle, the driver can control the vehicle acceleration through the accelerator pedal, the brake pedal can control the vehicle deceleration, and the acceleration and deceleration of the vehicle can also be controlled by rotating the steering wheel rim 10 as the steering wheel section on the rim 1, so that the burden of the legs of the driver can be reduced, the driving pleasure can be improved, the traffic accident caused by the mistaken pedaling can be reduced, the attention required by the driver when the driver performs the manual operation can be reduced, the driver's attentiveness to the driver can be prevented from being influenced, and the driving requirement of the leg handicapped can be satisfied.
As shown in fig. 2, the present invention also provides a driving control system 100 of a vehicle, which includes: a steering wheel 1 of a vehicle according to any one of the exemplary embodiments of the present invention; a brake steering module 2 configured to be coupled to a vehicle braking system to allow a deceleration or braking operation of the vehicle to be controlled by a brake pedal and a first steering wheel 11 of the steering wheel 1; and an acceleration manipulation module 3 configured to be coupled with a vehicle acceleration system to allow acceleration operation of the vehicle to be controlled by an accelerator pedal. In an embodiment in which the steering wheel 1 has a second steering wheel 12 for controlling the acceleration operation of the vehicle, the acceleration steering module 3 is configured to allow the acceleration operation of the vehicle to be controlled by the second steering wheel 12.
In a preferred embodiment, the brake steering module 2 is configured such that the brake pedal and the first steering rotator 11 function exclusively with each other, and/or the accelerator steering module 3 is configured such that the accelerator pedal and the second steering rotator 12 function exclusively with each other, so that the acceleration or deceleration of the vehicle is steered only based on the operation amounts of the components operated in real time.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the steering control system 100 further comprises a switching unit 4, which may have a plurality of switching gear positions, adapted to selectively put the first steering rotator 11 and/or the second steering rotator 12 in an activated state or in a deactivated state by a switching operation. For example, the switching unit 4 may have: a full manual steering gear in which the speed control mode of the vehicle can be entirely switched to a manual control mode using the steering wheel 1 when the switching unit 4 is in the gear, at which time both the first steering rotator 11 and the second steering rotator 12 are in an activated state and the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are in a deactivated state; a hand-foot operating gear in which the operating rotational members and the pedals are in an activated state when the switching unit 4 is in the gear, so that the vehicle can be operated by both the pedals and the steering wheel 1, and the pedals and the corresponding operating rotational members act exclusively on each other; a manual deceleration gear in which the first steering rotator 11 is in an activated state and the second steering rotator 12 is in a deactivated state; a manual acceleration gear in which the first steering rotator 11 is in a deactivated state and the second steering rotator 12 is in an activated state; and a full pedal operation range in which the speed control mode of the vehicle can be entirely switched to a pedal control mode using a pedal when the switching unit 4 is in the range, at which time both the first operating rotator 11 and the second operating rotator 12 are in a deactivated state, and the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are in an activated state; etc. The switching unit 4 may be provided, for example, on the steering wheel 1, i.e. the steering wheel 1 according to the invention may also comprise a switching unit 4, which switching unit 4 may also be provided in a center console or displayed as a selection object on a center touch screen.
As shown in fig. 3, the present invention also provides a vehicle 200 comprising the steering wheel 1 of the vehicle according to the embodiment of the present invention and/or the driving management system 100 of the vehicle according to the embodiment of the present invention.
Although specific embodiments of the invention have been described in detail herein, they are presented for purposes of illustration only and are not to be construed as limiting the scope of the invention. Various substitutions, alterations, and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
