Abstract
The invention provides a fishing rod, which can simplify the operation procedure and realize the light weight while ensuring the coaxiality and firm connection under the condition of the rod body structure with parts with different diameters for arranging the outer parts such as a grab handle, a handle or a reel seat. Specifically, the fishing rod according to the present invention includes: a rod body comprising a 1 st rod body and a 2 nd rod body having a larger diameter than the 1 st rod body; an outer member provided on the outer periphery of the 1 st rod body of the rod body; and a ring member provided at an end of the outer member when viewed in an axial direction of the rod body, the 1 st rod body having a protruding portion protruding from the outer member when viewed in the axial direction, the ring member being provided so as to cover the end of the 2 nd rod body and the protruding portion of the 1 st rod body, an inner surface of the ring member being formed of an inclined surface with respect to the axial direction of the rod body, the inclined surface being configured so as to decrease in diameter from the 2 nd rod body in a direction toward the 1 st rod body.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a fishing rod equipped with an outer member such as a grip, handle or reel holder.
Background
Conventionally, various fishing rods are known, in which outer members such as grips, handles, reel holders and the like are attached.
In such a fishing rod, various attempts have been made to ensure the coaxiality between the rod body and the outer member.
As such a fishing rod, for example, as disclosed in patent documents 1 to 2, there is disclosed a case in which, when an outer member is attached to a rod tube, a bulge-like portion provided on the rod tube is formed, whereby an outer member is attached to the rod tube. However, in the fishing rod according to these patent documents, when the outside member is provided to the rod tube, if the structure is provided with a raised portion provided to the rod tube, there is a problem that the coaxiality between the rod tube and the outside member cannot be ensured. The present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a fishing rod which can simplify the working process and can be made lightweight while ensuring the coaxiality and firm connection in the case of a rod body structure having portions of different diameters for providing outer members such as grips, handles, reel holders, and the like. The objects other than the above-described objects of the present invention can be seen by referring to the entire specification.
In order to achieve the above object, a fishing rod according to the present invention includes: a rod body including a 1 st rod body portion and a 2 nd rod body portion having a larger diameter than the 1 st rod body portion; an outer member provided on the outer periphery of the 1 st rod body; and a ring member provided at an end of the outer member when viewed in an axial direction of the rod body, wherein the 1 st rod body has a protruding portion protruding from the outer member when viewed in the axial direction, the ring member is provided so as to cover the end of the 2 nd rod body and the protruding portion of the 1 st rod body, and an inner surface of the ring member is formed of an inclined surface with respect to the axial direction of the rod body, the inclined surface being tapered from the 2 nd rod body in a direction toward the 1 st rod body.
In the fishing rod according to one embodiment of the present invention, the outer member is a grip, a handle, or a reel holder.
In the fishing rod according to one embodiment of the present invention, the distal end portion of the outer circumferential surface of the 2 nd rod body is configured to abut against the inclined surface formed on the inner surface of the ring member.
In the fishing rod according to one embodiment of the present invention, the ring member includes a 1 st ring portion covering an end portion of the 2 nd rod body and a 2 nd ring portion covering the protruding portion of the 1 st rod body, and the 1 st ring portion has an inner diameter which is the same as an outer diameter of the 2 nd rod body and is at most 0.3mm larger than the outer diameter of the 2 nd rod body.
In the fishing rod according to one embodiment of the present invention, the ring member includes a 1 st ring portion covering an end portion of the 2 nd rod body and a 2 nd ring portion covering the protruding portion of the 1 st rod body, and an inner diameter of the 2 nd ring portion is the same as an outer diameter of the protruding portion and is at most 0.3mm larger than the outer diameter of the protruding portion.

Detailed Description
Embodiments of a fishing rod according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the drawings, common components are denoted by the same reference numerals. For convenience of explanation, the drawings are not necessarily to scale, and attention is directed to this.
Fig. 1 is a view showing an embodiment of a fishing rod according to the present invention. As shown in the figure, a fishing rod 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a rod body 2, a reel 6 attached to the rod body 2 via a reel seat 9, and a fishing line guide 10 attached to the rod body 2. In the illustrated embodiment, the reel seat 9 and the fishing line guide 10 correspond to mounting parts mounted on the outer circumferential surface of the rod body, respectively.
The rod body 2 is constituted by connecting, for example, a head rod 3, a middle rod 5, a tip rod 7, and the like. The rods are joined, for example, by a plug-in type joint. The head rod 3, the middle rod 5 and the rod tip 7 may be coupled by a draw-out method, a reverse insertion method, a sleeve method, or any coupling method known in the art other than these methods. The rod body 2 may be formed of a single rod body.
The head rod 3, the middle rod 5 and the rod tip rod 7 are made of, for example, a tubular body made of fiber reinforced resin. The fiber-reinforced resin tubular body is produced by winding a fiber-reinforced resin prepreg (prepreg) in which a matrix resin is impregnated into reinforcing fibers around a mandrel, and heating the prepreg to cure the prepreg. As the reinforcing fibers contained in the prepreg, for example, carbon fibers, glass fibers, and any of known reinforcing fibers other than these can be used. As the matrix resin contained in the prepreg, a thermosetting resin such as an epoxy resin can be used. After the prepreg sheet is cured, the mandrel is de-cored. Furthermore, the outer surface of the tubular body is suitably ground. Each rod body can also be solid.
In the illustrated embodiment, a plurality of fishing line guides 10 (fishing line guides 10A to 10D) for guiding a fishing line discharged from a reel 6 mounted on a reel seat 9 are provided on a head rod 3, a middle rod 5, and a rod tip rod 7. More specifically, the first-section rod 3 is provided with a fishing line guide 10A, the middle section 5 is provided with a fishing line guide 10B, and the tip section 7 is provided with a fishing line guide 10C. Although the top guide 10D is provided at the tip end of the rod tip section 7, a detailed description thereof is omitted.
Next, the reel seat 9 will be described with reference to fig. 2. The reel seat 9 includes a reel seat body 12, and the reel seat body 12 has a reel foot placement surface 12a along an axial direction thereof for placing a reel foot 6a of a fishing reel 6. The reel seat body 12 is formed in a cylindrical shape as a whole. The reel seat body 12 is formed of a suitable material such as synthetic resin (for example, polyamide synthetic fiber, ABS resin, or the like) or metal (for example, SUS, aluminum, titanium, brass, or the like).
The reel seat body 12 is slightly raised on the opposite side of the reel foot mounting surface 12a, and is formed with a grip portion 12b, and the grip portion 12b has a curved outer surface that is convenient to grasp by supporting the thumb pad or its proximal portion when held by the hand to be grasped.
The reel foot placement surface 12a of the reel seat body 12 is formed flat or substantially flat with a larger curvature than other circumferential portions (e.g., the grip portion 12 b) adjacent to the reel foot placement surface 12a of the reel seat body 12, and the reel seat body 12 is formed in a state extending in the axial direction of the reel seat body 12 as shown in fig. 2. The reel seat body 12 is integrally provided with a fixing cover 14 at one end (rod top side). One end of the reel foot mount surface 12a of the reel seat body 12 is disposed in the interior 14a of the fixed cover 14.
The movable cover 22 (cover) is mounted to be movable in the axial direction on the outside of the reel seat body 12. Here, the movable cover 22 is constituted by the cover portion 26 and the nut portion 24 having the space 26a for accommodating the reel leg 6a therein, but it is also conceivable to include other members than the above.
The reel seat body 12 is provided on the outer periphery of the 1 st pole body 4 of the pole body 3, and the 1 st pole body 4 is provided with a protruding portion 4a formed to protrude from the reel seat body 12 (reel seat 9) when viewed in the axial direction thereof. A ring member described later is used at a connection portion between the end surface 4b of the protruding portion 4a and the end surface 8a of the 2 nd rod body portion 8 of the rod body 3. As shown in the figure, a fishing rod 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a rod body 3 having a 1 st rod body 4 and a 2 nd rod body 8 having a larger diameter than the 1 st rod body 4; an outer member 20 (in the example of fig. 2, a reel seat 9) provided on the outer periphery of the 1 st pole part 4 of the pole 3; and a ring member 15 provided at an end of the outer member 20 when viewed in the axial direction (X) of the rod body 3, the 1 st rod body 4 having a protrusion 4a protruding from the outer member 20 when viewed in the axial direction, the ring member 15 being provided so as to cover the end 8b of the 2 nd rod body 8 and the protrusion 4a of the 1 st rod body 4, the ring member 15 having an inner surface formed by an inclined surface 15a with respect to the axial direction (X) of the rod body 3, the inclined surface 15a being configured so as to be reduced in diameter from the 2 nd rod body 8 in a direction toward the 1 st rod body 4.
According to one embodiment of the fishing rod of the present invention, in the case of a rod body structure having portions of different diameters for providing outer members such as grips, handles, reel holders, etc., it is possible to provide a fishing rod which can simplify the working process while ensuring the coaxiality and firm connection and can realize a light weight. 5. A fishing rod according to any one of claim 1 to 3, wherein,
the ring member has a 1 st ring portion covering an end of the 2 nd rod body portion and a 2 nd ring portion covering the protruding portion of the 1 st rod body portion, and an inner diameter of the 2 nd ring portion is the same as an outer diameter of the protruding portion and is at most 0.3mm larger than the outer diameter of the protruding portion.
6. A fishing rod as claimed in claim 5, wherein,
the length of the 1 st ring in the axial direction is more than 0.5 mm.
7. A fishing rod according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein,
the inclined surface of the ring member is formed of a plurality of inclined surface portions having different inclination angles.
8. A fishing rod as claimed in claim 7, wherein,
the inclined surface of the ring member is formed in a flat surface or a curved surface.
9. A fishing rod according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein,
an adhesive for attaching the ring member to the rod body is applied to at least any one of a gap between the 1 st ring portion and an end portion of the 2 nd rod body or a gap between the 2 nd ring portion and the protruding portion of the 1 st rod body.
