The invention relates to a sweet haw fragrant tobacco column for smoking a smoking set and a preparation method thereof, wherein the sweet haw fragrant tobacco column comprises a tobacco bundle rolled by tobacco rods at the central axis of the tobacco column, and three tobacco layers which are sequentially wrapped from inside to outside are respectively a tobacco inner layer with good combustibility, low smoke concentration and weak fragrance intensity, a tobacco middle layer with moderate combustibility, moderate smoke concentration and high fragrance intensity, and a tobacco outer layer with good combustibility, high smoke concentration and moderate fragrance intensity. The tobacco column prepared by the technical scheme is wholly similar to cigars, has the characteristics of conventional cigarettes, and utilizes the smoking set to smoke, and has the sensory characteristics of rich natural tobacco fragrance, fine, soft and rich smoke, mellow and sweet hawthorn fragrance, and clean and comfortable aftertaste.
