本申请实施例提供一种电极组件、电池单体、电池及电极组件的制造方法和设备。电极组件包括:正极极片和负极极片,正极极片和负极极片经过卷绕或折叠形成弯折区;正极极片包括位于弯折区的多个弯折部,弯折部包括正极集流层和正极活性物质层,正极集流层在正极极片的厚度方向上的至少一个表面设置有正极活性物质层;其中,正极集流层和正极活性物质层之间设有阻挡层,阻挡层用于阻挡正极集流层和正极活性物质层之间的电子传输,进而削弱或阻止弯折部的正极活性物质层的脱锂反应,正极活性物质层不脱嵌锂离子或脱嵌锂离子的数量较少。因而可降低析锂的发生概率或避免出现析锂现象,从而提高电池安全。
