Description

Method and system for automatically configuring actual output power value of repeater
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of wireless coverage of mobile communication base stations, in particular to a method and a system for automatically configuring the actual output power value of a repeater.
Background
The repeater network system can couple (wired or wireless) wireless communication network signals, rapidly solves the problem of existence of target area mobile signals, and has the advantages of low construction cost and simple and rapid engineering implementation.
However, in the existing network engineering construction, the output power of the base station may vary according to the traffic demand. A typical 100M bandwidth base station is configured to output 100W (50 dBm), and when the base station is fully loaded, the output rf power can reach 50dBm. However, when the traffic is not fully loaded, or is idle, the base station output power will be 20-30dB less than when fully loaded. When the repeater is switched on or operated, in the period of low load of the host base station, if the repeater is debugged to full power output. The output power of the host base station is increased due to the increase of the traffic of the host base station, the input power of the synchronous repeater station is increased, the output power of the repeater station reaches the rated power before and cannot be increased, so that the power amplifier is saturated, the signal quality is deteriorated, and the user perception of the coverage area of the repeater station is influenced. Meanwhile, the working energy efficiency ratio of repeater equipment is also deteriorated, and ineffective energy waste is increased.
When the repeater is turned on and debugged, the repeater may be busy or idle. The optimal state is that when the host base station is fully loaded and the power is configured for transmitting, the repeater station also outputs according to the rated power. When a repeater is debugged and opened in the prior art, a certain power margin needs to be reserved when the repeater is opened in real time, and the certain power reservation needs to be estimated according to experience. So that the output of the repeater can be kept in the linear range when the load of the base station is increased. However, the difference between the repeater on-time, the instantaneous output power of the host base station and the maximum power is unknown. If the reserved power of the repeater is too large, the coverage area of the repeater and the service perception of users in the coverage area are affected. If the reserved power is too small, when the traffic of the host base station is increased, the phenomenon that the repeater outputs power amplification to be saturated due to the increase of the output power, so that the signal quality of a coverage area is reduced, can occur.
Therefore, it is desirable to provide a method and a system for automatically configuring the actual output power of the repeater, so that the repeater can operate in the best state, and the signal quality degradation or high energy consumption in the signal coverage area can be avoided.
Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the above technical problem, the present invention provides a method for automatically configuring the actual output power value of a repeater, which comprises the following steps:
s1, a base station webmaster periodically counts the instant output power value and the configuration power value of a host base station with a repeater in preset time, and sends CellID and PCI of the host base station to the repeater webmaster managing the repeater;
s2, the repeater webmaster periodically counts the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater under the host base station in the preset time according to the CellID and the PCI of the host base station;
and S3, the repeater network manager judges whether the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain or not according to the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station, the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and a preset judgment rule, and if so, adjusts the downlink gain of the repeater according to the preset adjustment rule.
Further, the preset determination rule includes:
if the difference between the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and the difference between the instant output power value and the configured power value of the host base station are greater than the preset threshold value, the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain.
Further, the preset adjustment rule includes:
and adjusting the actual output power value of the repeater to be the difference value of the difference value between the instant output power value of the host base station and the configuration power value subtracted from the rated power value of the repeater.
Furthermore, the value range of the preset threshold is 0-2dB.
In order to solve the above technical problem, the present invention also provides a system for automatically configuring the actual output power value of a repeater, which comprises a host base station with a repeater, a base station network manager connected with the host base station, and a repeater network manager connected with the base station network manager and managing the repeater;
the base station network manager comprises a first module for counting the instant output power value and the configuration power value of a host base station with a repeater at a preset time period, and a second module for sending the CellID and the PCI of the host base station to the repeater network manager for managing the repeater;

Further, the preset determination rule includes:
if the difference between the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and the difference between the instant output power value and the configured power value of the host base station are larger than the preset threshold value, the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain.
Further, the preset adjustment rule includes:
and adjusting the actual output power value of the repeater to be the difference value of the rated power value of the repeater minus the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station.
Furthermore, the value range of the preset threshold is 0-2dB.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects: the invention checks the working state of the repeater and adjusts the actual output power of the repeater in time by periodically counting the relevant power values of the host base station and the repeater, thereby avoiding the problem that the repeater cannot be in the optimal power state and the optimal coverage state due to larger or smaller reserved power; meanwhile, the phenomena that the power amplifier of the repeater is saturated due to the increase of the traffic of the host base station, and the signal quality of the coverage area of the repeater is poor or the energy consumption is high are avoided.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be obtained by a person skilled in the art without inventive step based on the embodiments of the present invention, are within the scope of protection of the present invention.
It is noted that the terms first, second and the like in the description and in the claims of the present application are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It should be understood that the data so used may be interchanged under appropriate circumstances such that the operations are performed in other sequences than in the embodiments of the invention.
Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 2, a method for automatically configuring an actual output power value of a repeater according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps:
s1, a base station network manager periodically counts the instant output power value and the configuration power value of a host base station with a repeater under the preset time, and sends the CellID (serving Cell ID) and the PCI (Physical Cell Identifier) of the host base station to the repeater network manager for managing the repeater.
S2, the network manager of the repeater periodically counts the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater under the host base station in a preset time according to the CellID and the PCI of the host base station.
S3, the network manager of the repeater judges whether the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain or not according to the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station, the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and a preset judgment rule, and if so, adjusts the downlink gain of the repeater according to the preset adjustment rule.
The webmaster of the base station counts the instant output power value of the managed base station at the specified time, the configuration power value (full load state) of the base station, the cellID, the frequency point, the PCI and other information of the base station in the preset time. The network management of the repeater is also counted at the same time, the actual output power value of the repeater governed by the base station corresponding to the CellID and the PCI is constant, and the rated power value of the repeater is constant. In the most ideal state, the configured power value of the host base station-the instant output power value of the host base station = the rated power value of the repeater-the actual output power value of the repeater, and at this time, when the base station power is increased to the maximum value due to the traffic, the repeater reaches the rated power for transmitting. Therefore, if the counted configuration power value of the host base station-the instant output power value of the host base station ≠ the rated power value of the repeater-the actual output power value of the repeater, the actual output power of the repeater, that is, the downlink gain of the repeater is adjusted to make the two equal.
Specifically, the preset judgment rule is as follows: if the difference between the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and the difference between the instant output power value and the configured power value of the host base station are greater than the preset threshold value, the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain.
Specifically, the preset adjustment rule is as follows: and adjusting the actual output power value of the repeater to be the difference value of the rated power value of the repeater minus the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station. Wherein, the actual output power value of the repeater can be represented by M, the rated power value of the repeater can be represented by N, the instant output power value of the host base station can be represented by X, and the configured power value of the host base station can be represented by Y, then the adjustment rule is M = N- (Y-X).
In this embodiment, the preset threshold value range is 0-2dB, and in addition, the time for the base station webmaster and the repeater webmaster to periodically count may be configured to be 1 time per week or 1 time per month, and those skilled in the art may also set other values according to the actual situation.
The system for automatically configuring the actual output power value of the repeater comprises a host base station with the repeater, a base station network manager connected with the host base station, and a repeater network manager connected with the base station network manager and managing the repeater.
The base station network management comprises a first module for counting the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station with the repeater station at a preset time period, and a second module for sending the CellID and the PCI of the host base station to the repeater station network management for managing the repeater station.
The repeater webmaster comprises a third module for periodically counting the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater under the host base station at a preset time according to the CellID and the PCI of the host base station; and a fourth module for judging whether the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain according to the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station, the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and a preset judgment rule, if so, adjusting the downlink gain of the repeater according to the preset adjustment rule.
Wherein, the actual output power value of the repeater can be represented by M, the rated power value of the repeater can be represented by N, the instant output power value of the host base station can be represented by X, and the configuration power value of the host base station can be represented by Y, then the adjustment rule is M = N- (Y-X).
In this embodiment, the preset threshold value range is 0-2dB, and in addition, the time periodically counted by the base station network manager and the repeater network manager can be configured to be 1 time per week or 1 time per month, and those skilled in the art can also set other values according to the actual situation.
In summary, the embodiment of the present invention periodically counts the relevant power values of the host base station and the repeater, verifies the working state of the repeater and timely adjusts the actual output power value of the repeater, thereby avoiding the problem that the repeater cannot be in the optimal power state and the optimal coverage state due to the larger or smaller reserved power; meanwhile, the phenomena that the power amplifier of the repeater is saturated due to the increase of the traffic of the host base station, and the signal quality of the coverage area of the repeater is poor or the energy consumption is high are avoided.
The above examples merely represent preferred embodiments of the present invention, which are described in more detail and detail, but are not to be construed as limiting the scope of the present invention. It should be noted that, for a person skilled in the art, several variations and modifications, such as combinations of different features in various embodiments, may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention, and these are within the scope of the invention.
