Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of precision machining, and particularly relates to a method for detecting the diameter of a grinding wheel of a roll grinder.
Background
A roll grinder is indispensable production equipment in modern industrial production and is mainly applied to industries such as metallurgy, papermaking and the like. The working mechanism of the roll grinder is that the grinding wheel and the workpiece do relative rotary motion (main motion), the grinding wheel and the workpiece do relative longitudinal motion and also need to have certain radial relative displacement, and because the requirements of various industries on the precision and the surface quality of the roll are higher and higher, the roll grinder body is required to have higher working precision and mainly depends on the selection of the grinding wheel, cooling liquid and grinding process parameters matched with the specific processing roll. In the grinding process, particles on the surface of the grinding wheel fall off and are abraded, and meanwhile, in order to keep the particles on the surface of the grinding wheel to be sharp, a golden pen is used for finishing the surface of the grinding wheel, so that the diameter of the grinding wheel is changed inevitably, and the diameter change of the grinding wheel influences the technological parameter requirements.
The real numerical value of the diameter of the grinding wheel is an important technical index on a grinding machine, the earliest detection method is to detect the diameter by utilizing the angle change of a grinding wheel water spray mouth to drive a potentiometer, and although the structure is simple, the potentiometer is unreliable due to frequent operation and nozzle moving or over-strong force. And a method for calculating the diameter of the grinding wheel by using the short grating ruler for counting is also provided, and the measuring method has the advantages of complex equipment structure and high cost of used devices. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an economical and reliable detection method.

the grinding wheel with different diameters can be accurately measured only by arranging a standard grinding wheel on the existing roll grinder, operating a diameter correcting program by utilizing the original high-precision servo drive motor shaft X and a detection system of the grinder, and the grinding wheel diameter measuring device is simple and reliable in structure without additional detection elements.

1, selecting a standard grinding wheel with a determined standard diameter Dref, and mounting the standard grinding wheel on a roll grinding machine;
2, operating a signal program for correcting the diameter of the grinding wheel, enabling the grinding wheel to approach the detection device, reading the position of an X axis, and recording as Xcur;
3, unloading the standard grinding wheel and installing the grinding wheel to be detected;
4, running a signal program for correcting the diameter of the grinding wheel, reading the position of the X axis and recording as Xref;
5, calculate the cut-off wheel diameter Dx, Dx = Dref +2 (Xref-Xcur).
