Test example: detection of non-metallic inclusions in class B
The detection method is according to GB/T10561 and according to the specification of a wire rod for GBT27691-2017 steel cords: the quality grade is B grade steel cord wire rod, and the type B of non-metallic inclusion is less than or equal to 0.5 grade.
30 batches of the cord steel LX70B produced by using the drainage agent of examples 1 to 3 and comparative examples 1 to 3 were arbitrarily selected for inclusion detection, and the detection results are shown in the following tables, respectively.

Based on the above test data, it can be seen from the results of comparing example 1 with comparative examples 1 to 3 that the grade of the type B inclusion in the cord steel (wire rod for steel cord) of example 1 is not more than 0.5 and the content thereof is the minimum, which satisfies the standard, and it is demonstrated that the application of the drainage agent of example 1 to the cord steel can reduce the content of the type B inclusion in the molten steel and has the function of purifying the molten steel. Comparative examples 1 to 3 were differently adjusted based on the raw materials or components of the drainage agent of example 1, and the obtained drainage agent was used for the production of cord steel, and the grades of B-type inclusions were all > 0.5 grade, and the contents were all increased as compared with example 1, and thus, it could not perform a good function of adsorbing inclusions.
Reasonable control of B-type non-metal inclusion in the cord steel can better ensure that the content of acid-soluble aluminum in the steel cord wire rod is within a standard range, and the formed inclusion CaO-SiO2-Al2O3In the plasticity area, the phenomenon of breaking in the wire drawing process is prevented.
The above results of comparative examples 1 to 3 show that simply changing a certain raw material or a certain component is not beneficial to improving the self-opening effect of the drainage agent and meeting the clean production requirement of the cord steel based on the overall concept of the present invention.
