Description

技术领域
本发明涉及包装技术。更具体地,涉及一种用于横向密封装有食品的包装材料的管的电感器。还涉及一种用于生产食品包装的包装机及其方法。
背景技术
如今,生产装有液体食品的纸盒包装,例如装有牛奶的利乐砖TM(Tetra BrikTM)包装,是总所周知的。利乐砖TM包装机是卷轴进料包装机(有时也称为卷轴进料填充机)的一个示例。在卷轴进料包装机中,在卷轴上提供给包装机的包装材料幅材形成为管并提供纵向密封。在已形成管并提供纵向密封之后,管被产品填充。从管的下端连续进行横向密封。与进行横向密封相关,管的下端被切断,从而形成装有液体产品的包装。随后将这些包装转移到折叠设备,该折叠设备通过使用包装材料中提供的预制折叠线(有时也称为弱化线)将包装折叠成它们的最终形状。
另一种类型的包装机是所谓的坯料进料包装机。与卷轴进料包装机不同的是,在坯料进料包装机中,包装件是逐个制成的。两者之间的另一个区别在于纵向密封不是在包装机中完成的,而是预先完成的。因此,在这种背景下坯料被视为袖状的包装材料片。在坯料包装机中,坯料是竖立的(即展开的),从而形成一个内部空间。在竖立之后,通过在套筒的一端提供横向密封而形成封闭端。在下一步中,将产品填充到套筒中,然后通过提供横向密封来封闭套筒的另一端,从而形成封闭的包装。
为确保产品安全地保存在包装内,应以可靠的方式进行横向密封。提供可靠横向密封的技术已使用多年,但由于速度方面的要求(例如每小时生产的包装数量)、待填充到包装中的产品的不同类型(例如高粘度产品和含有种子和其他类型颗粒的产品)、服务间隔等不断增加,需要改进横向密封技术。
发明内容
本发明的目的是至少部分地克服现有技术的上述一个或多个限制。
根据第一方面,提供了一种用于横向密封装有食品的包装材料的管的电感器。该电感器包括:
主体,其包括第一密封表面和第二密封表面,该第一密封表面和第二密封表面布置成在密封状态期间面对包装材料;
设置在主体中的凹部,该凹部用于在切割状态期间接收刀具,其中第一密封表面和第二密封表面位于凹部的相对侧;以及

将所公开的电感器用于管的横向密封的优点在于可以实现期望的压力分布。通过具有期望的压力分布,可以从密封区挤出产品,使得没有产品、或至少是减少量的产品可以封装在密封区中。因此,所公开的电感器可以提供更可靠的密封区,其中没有产品可以离开包装并且没有空气可以进入包装。特别地,如果被封装,包含颗粒(例如种子)的食品可能会显着影响横向密封。
所公开的电感器的设计的另一个优点可以是朝向电感器的压力可以减小,这是由于放置在外密封部分之外的相(phase)的影响一一可以提供对包装材料的更温和的处理,并反过来使得可以使用更薄的包装材料或者可以避免包装材料的较少裂纹或其他损坏。
第一密封表面和第二密封表面倾斜的又一个优点是压力梯度可以在管内连续地积累。由于不同的产品可能在例如粘度以及它们是否包含颗粒的方面会有所不同,并且如果包含颗粒,这些颗粒可能具有不同的特性,则不同的产品可能需要不同的措施来避免密封带中的产品残留。通过定制倾斜分布(即密封表面如何倾斜),基于管内保持的产品,可以优化产品的压力梯度积累,这意味着甚至更进一步改进横向密封。
除了改进在密封阶段S中从密封带充分去除产品残留物之外,使密封表面倾斜也对密封质量有积极影响。在密封阶段S期间熔化的聚合物层中也形成压力梯度。这使得与使用平坦表面电感器相比,可以以更精确的方式控制包装材料中的熔化的聚合物如何移动。进而,这使得能够降低在包装材料中具有熔化的聚合物聚集体的风险。换言之,熔化的聚合物可以更有效地分布。另一个积极的效果在于实现可靠的横向密封可以需要更少的聚合物。由于可以以更精确的方式控制在密封阶段S期间熔化的聚合物如何分布,这可能意味着需要更少的聚合物,这从环境角度以及从成本方面都是有利的。
外密封部分长度(OSS-L)可以大于内密封部分长度(ISS-L)。

食品包装可包括高度为7mm或更小的横向密封翅片(fin)。具有小于14mm的密封带长度使得所生产的包装的密封翅片长度可以小于7mm。

第一密封元件200可以设置有电感器206,下面将结合图4A-C和图5A-C进行更详细的讨论。在提供横向密封之后,可以使用刀具208切断管104的下部,从而形成包装112。在此示例中,刀具208和电感器206设置在第一密封元件200中,但是其他布置也是可能的。例如,刀具208可以设置在管104的另一侧,在第二密封元件202中,或者切割步骤可以由密封设备下游的单独设备执行。

图3B示出了处于上部密封状态300B的横向密封装置210。如图所示,第一臂304a和第二臂304b可以处于上部位置,并且第一密封钳元件302a和第二密封钳元件302b可以从相对侧被压到管104上,使得管104的两个相对侧被压向彼此。为了提供横向密封,可以通过在包装材料中感应涡流同时将两个相对侧压在一起来提供热量。热量使得包装材料的聚合物层熔化,这又使得聚合物层可用于确保两个相对的侧面在钳被移除后能够彼此附接并保持在一起。当第一密封钳元件302a和第二密封钳元件302b被压到管104上时,从密封带以及电感器的内部和外部密封部分(见图5C)移除食品。换言之,在从上部打开状态300A到上部密封状态300B的上部状态的转变期间,从密封带移除产品,使得没有产品、或至少是减少量的产品可以封装在横向密封,如上所述,这会对横向密封的质量产生负面影响。

在处于图3A、3B、3C和3D中描述的状态之后,横向密封装置300可以通过再次重复这些状态而继续。
