Technical Field

Background
Heated cigarettes are one type of novel tobacco product that utilizes an external heat source to heat (rather than ignite) tobacco to produce tobacco-flavored gases. The cigarette heating mainly comprises an electric heating type, a carbon heating type, a physical and chemical reaction heating type and the like, and changes a smoke generation and transmission mechanism, so that harmful ingredients in smoke are effectively reduced, and the purpose of reducing harm is realized.
In 2019, the sales volume of the electrically heated cigarettes represented by IQOS in the international market exceeds 100 ten thousand, which indicates that the novel cigarettes are more and more favored by consumers due to the characteristic of low harm. The research and development of novel cigarettes are continuously increased in the domestic tobacco industry, but the research of the domestic tobacco industry in the aspect is late, and a large number of basic problems need to be overcome. The matching of the heat source and the raw materials for heating the cigarette is one of the key problems, and the selection of a set of efficient and stable heat source is very necessary in basic research. At present, a thermogravimetric method is mostly adopted for heating cigarette simulation, but because the sample consumption is less, the simulation result cannot reflect the real smoke release behavior of the heated cigarette easily. While some simple heating devices have no stable temperature control due to their thermal insulation and power limitations. In order to deeply research the smoke release behavior of the electrically heated cigarette and simulate the heating process of the electrically heated cigarette, a set of high-efficiency and stable heating device for experiments needs to be developed urgently.

The heating device is also internally provided with a hollow channel 7, the channel 7 sequentially penetrates through the heat conduction layer 5, the heat insulation layer and the shell 1 from bottom to top, a sample tube 6 for containing tobacco shreds is arranged inside the channel, and one end of the sample tube 6 is connected with the smoking machine. When the heater 4 works, the tobacco shreds are heated under the heat conduction action of the heat conduction layer to release nicotine and flavor substances, so that the smoking process of the electrically heated cigarette can be simulated, the matching of heat source parameters and electrically heated cigarette raw materials can be known by analyzing the smoke release condition, and basic theoretical guidance is provided for setting the heat source parameters and the raw material characteristics of the electrically heated cigarette. The heat conducting layer 5 is made of metal, in particular steel material.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the housing 1 includes a case 11 with an open top and a cover 2 disposed at the open top of the case 11, and the channel 7 extends through the cover 2. The shell 11 is connected with the cover body 2 through threads, and the sealing performance of the shell 1 is guaranteed. The shell 1 is made of stainless steel, so that the heating device is integrally firm and is not easy to damage.
The heat insulating layer is made of ceramics, and comprises a heat insulating side wall 33 which is a hollow cylinder, a heat insulating base 31 arranged at the bottom of the heat insulating side wall 33 and a heat insulating top cover 32 arranged at the top of the heat insulating side wall 33, the heater 4 and the heat conducting layer 5 are positioned between the heat insulating base 31 and the heat insulating top cover 32, a fixing ring 8 is arranged between the heater 4 and the heat insulating top cover 32, and the fixing ring 8 can fix and limit the installation position of the heater 4. In addition, a gap is left between the heater 4 and the heat insulation side wall, and the gap can further enhance the heat insulation effect of the heat insulation layer. As shown in fig. 3, when the heating temperatures were set to 100 ℃ (corresponding to curve a), 200 ℃ (corresponding to curve b), 300 ℃ (corresponding to curve c), and 400 ℃ (corresponding to curve d), respectively, the axial temperature distribution in the channel 7 was measured by a capillary thermocouple, and it was found that the region having a height of 31 to 51mm in the channel 7 was a constant temperature region having a stable temperature. Preferably, the channel 7 extends through the insulated base 31 and the insulated top cover 32, so that the position of the cut tobacco in the sample tube 6 is opposite to the constant temperature area in the channel 7. Meanwhile, the sample tube 6 is made of quartz, the inner part of the sample tube is also provided with the protruding parts 61 which are distributed along the radial direction, and cotton can be plugged into the protruding parts 61 firstly and then cut tobacco can be plugged into the sample tube, so that the height of the cut tobacco in the sample tube 6 is changed.
The heater 4 is preferably a flow channel heater comprising a metal heating tube and a coil, the coil being sheathed outside the heating tube, the heating tube rapidly increasing in temperature when the coil is energized. As shown in fig. 4, the heating temperature is set to 300 ℃, when the smoking machine does not smoke, the inner wall temperature (corresponding to curve e) and the tobacco shred center temperature (corresponding to curve f) of the sample tube 6 are quickly raised to the set temperatures and are kept stable; when the smoking machine starts to smoke, the smoking capacity is 35 mL/port, the smoking interval is 15s, the smoking time is 2s, as shown in FIG. 5, the temperature of the inner wall of the sample tube 6 (corresponding to curve g) slightly fluctuates along with the suction of the cold air flow, the temperature of the center of the tobacco shred (corresponding to curve h) can be reduced by 50-70 ℃ along with the suction of the cold air flow, but the temperature can be rapidly increased to the temperature of the inner wall of the sample tube 6. Therefore, the heating device of the invention adopts the flow channel heater, and can realize rapid and stable heating.
The invention also provides a using method of the heating device, which comprises the following steps:
s1, filling the heated cigarette raw materials into the sample tube 6;
s2, inserting the sample tube 6 into the channel 7, wherein the position of the cut tobacco in the sample tube 6 is opposite to the constant temperature area in the channel 7;
s3, the heater 4 starts heating, one end of the sample tube 6 is connected with a smoking machine, and the smoking machine starts smoking.

7. The heating device of claim 1, wherein the thermal insulation layer is made of ceramic.
8. A heating device according to claim 1, characterized in that the heater (4) is a flow channel heater.
9. The heating device according to claim 1, characterized in that radially distributed projections (61) are also provided in the sample tube (6).
