Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of animal husbandry ensiling, and particularly relates to a method for mixed ensiling of alfalfa and corn in alpine regions.
Background
The alpine region of Qinghai-Tibet plateau is one of three grassland animal husbandry bases in China. However, in recent years, due to unreasonable utilization of human beings and abnormal change of climate, the ecological environment of the alpine grasses which is very fragile and unstable is gradually worsened, and the sustainable development of society and economy in the plateau area, which is a link to the continuous development of grassland animal husbandry, is severely restricted. The construction and cultivation of the grassland, the research and development of high-quality grass products are important measures for realizing the intensive operation of the grassland animal husbandry and relieving the grazing pressure of natural grasslands, and become a necessary way for the sustainable development of the grassland animal husbandry and the protection of the ecological environment in the plateau in the alpine region of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau.
The di qing tibet autonomous state is located in the northwest of Yunnan province and is the only Tibetan and pasturing area in Yunnan province. The diqing grassland animal husbandry is a major local industry. However, since the 60's of the 20 th century, due to the rapid growth of the population and the increasing number of livestock in this area, natural grassland was overloaded and over-herded, the grassland deteriorated seriously, the productivity declined, the grassland "three-season" function decreased, and the cold season was long, as long as 6 months. The grass yield of the natural grassland is reduced by 30 percent on average in the 50 th ages of the 20 th century, and the grass yield of the grassland in the main grazing area is reduced by 50 percent. The serious degradation of the natural grassland brings great pressure to the continuous development of the local grassland animal husbandry, and the shortage of high-quality forage grass becomes a bottleneck for limiting the development of the local animal husbandry, particularly the serious shortage of high-quality grass products. The conflict between the grass and the livestock is outstanding, and the stable development of the grassland animal husbandry in the area is severely restricted.
The single variety of pasture and the serious shortage of protein forage grass are one of the important factors which puzzle the production benefit of grassland animal husbandry in alpine regions for a long time. The di qing tibet autonomous state is located in the northwest of Yunnan province and is the only Tibetan and pasturing area in Yunnan province. Due to the influence of climate, the crop is long in winter, and due to geographical conditions, the crops which can be selected by farmers and herdsmen to be planted are limited, and the crop yield is not high. Forage grass feed for livestock fed by farmers and herdsmen is mainly crop straws stored in summer and autumn, the condition of insufficient supply of the livestock feed in winter and spring is very serious, and a plurality of livestock fall into vicious circle of 'autumn fertilizer, winter lean and spring death'. The establishment of the grassland for cultivation and the research and development of high-quality grass products are the precondition for relieving seasonal supply and demand deficiency of local forage grass and ensuring the healthy and stable development of local animal husbandry.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the situation, in order to overcome the defects of the prior art, the invention provides the method for mixing and ensiling the alfalfa and the corn in the alpine region, the mixed ensiling of the alfalfa and the ensiled corn is a high-quality grass product in the alpine region, and the yak is fed in winter and spring, so that the reproduction rate of calves can be effectively improved, the death rate of adult animals is reduced, the loss of losing weight is reduced, and the turnover of herds is accelerated.
The technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows: the invention relates to a method for mixing and ensiling alfalfa and corn in alpine regions, which comprises the following steps:
1) collecting alfalfa and corn;
2) cutting corn stalk into 1-3cm length, and cutting herba Medicaginis into 4-6cm length;
3) when the water content of the alfalfa and the corn is 87% -89%, uniformly mixing the alfalfa and the silage corn according to the weight ratio of 5-6: 4-5;
4) adding the mixture into an ensiling bag, compacting and sealing;
5) after fermentation at a temperature of 25 ℃ to 35 ℃, ensiling is completed.
Further, the time for harvesting the alfalfa and the corn in the step 1) is a branch period and a milk stage respectively.
Further, the mixture in the step 4) is added into the silage bag in a layer-by-layer adding mode.
Further, the fermentation days in step 5) are 60 days.
The method has the following beneficial effects that: the mixed silage method of the alfalfa and the corn in the alpine region has the advantages that the mixed silage of the alfalfa and the silage corn is a high-quality grass product in the alpine region, yaks are fed in winter and spring, the reproduction rate of calves can be effectively improved, the death rate of adult animals is reduced, loss of losing weight is reduced, and turnover of herds is accelerated.
