The multi-split air conditioning system comprises a plurality of outdoor units, wherein a C interface of a four-way valve of each outdoor unit is connected with one end of an electric ball valve, the other end of each electric ball valve is communicated with each other and is connected to one end of an indoor heat exchange side, the electric ball valves are used for adjusting the pressure in a pipeline, one ends of the heat exchange sides of all the outdoor units are connected together and are connected to the other end of the indoor heat exchange side, and the other ends of the heat exchange sides of all the outdoor units are connected with a corresponding E interface of the four-way valve.

taking defrosting of the first outdoor unit as an example, after a high-temperature high-pressure gaseous refrigerant generated by a compressor of the second outdoor unit passes through the second electric ball valve, a part of the high-temperature high-pressure gaseous refrigerant flows to the first electric ball valve and flows back to the first outdoor compressor through a port C of the four-way valve, and the high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant generated by the first outdoor compressor flows through the first outdoor heat exchange side to defrost the first outdoor unit and then is changed into a gas-liquid mixed refrigerant; the other part of the refrigerant flows to the indoor heat exchange side, becomes a gas-liquid mixed refrigerant after heating the indoor, is converged with the gas-liquid mixed refrigerant after defrosting of the first outdoor unit and flows to the second outdoor heat exchange side, and flows back to the compressor of the second outdoor unit through the E interface of the second four-way valve to form circulation, so that the effect of heating the indoor is achieved, and the defrosting of the first outdoor unit is also achieved.
The electric ball valve is to prevent the compressor of the outdoor unit requiring defrosting from being damaged due to the high pressure of the refrigerant at the suction end, so the number of steps of opening the electric ball valve in step S04 is adjusted according to the low pressure data of the outdoor unit requiring defrosting.
