In this embodiment, after the washing machine enters water to the target water level and before the washing process, the washing machine may be controlled to perform a soaking process for not less than a predetermined time according to the target water level and the weight of the laundry, so that the sterilizing substances in the sterilizing unit or the sterilizing ball can release sterilizing ions. In this embodiment, a test may be performed in advance to determine the concentrations of the bactericidal ions required by the water level and the weight of the laundry, so as to determine the corresponding soaking time, and the correspondence relationship is stored in the storage unit of the washing machine, so as to facilitate searching from the storage unit when determining the soaking time. Alternatively, a fixed soaking time may be used, for example, the soaking time may be 30 min.
And S102, controlling the washing barrel to shake the barrel in the soaking process so as to enable ionized bactericidal ions to be fully dissolved in water.
In this embodiment, the washing barrel can be controlled to shake in the soaking process, that is, the washing barrel is controlled to rotate discontinuously, for example, rotate for 1.4 seconds, stop rotating for 18.6 seconds, rotate for 1.4 seconds again, stop rotating for 18.6 seconds, and so on, and the washing barrel can rotate once in the forward direction and once in the reverse direction during rotation, so that the bactericidal ions released by the bactericidal substances can be rapidly diffused and dissolved in water, thereby realizing better stirring effect and saving energy consumption.
