Abstract

技术领域
本公开涉及用于空气净化的组合物、装置和方法。更特别地,本公开涉及催化剂-吸附剂组合物、其制备的装置和***、方法,以及其用于室温下从空气中去除气态污染物的方法。
背景技术
随着各种大气污染物水平不断提高,大气污染是越来越重要的关注点。甲醛、氮氧化物、二氧化硫和氨被认为是主要污染物,使用各种吸着剂***和材料将其从室内环境中去除。
传统的污染物处理***和吸着剂材料仍然面临许多挑战,包括改进长期性能、提高制造操作效率以及降低生产成本。许多吸着剂材料通常适于一种类型的吸附应用,而不能去除其它类型的污染物。举例来说,当前的阴极空气净化技术需要两个单独的层以去除碱性和酸性化学污染物,因此需要更复杂的设计。另外,利用碳粒的非织造过滤器***导致高的背压,这对性能有不利的影响。
因此,仍然需要可有效地同时去除多种污染物的装置、方法和组合物。
发明内容
下文呈现本公开的各个方面的简化概述,以便提供对这类方面的基本理解。此发明内容并非本公开的广泛综述。其既不旨在标识本公开的关键或重要元素,也不旨在描绘本公开的特定实施例的任何范围或权利要求的任何范围。其唯一目的是以简化形式呈现本公开的一些概念来作为稍后呈现的更详细描述的序言。
在本公开的一个方面,催化剂-吸附剂过滤器包含:包含选自聚合泡沫、聚合纤维、非织造织物、陶瓷和纸浆产品(例如,纸)的材料的过滤器主体;和在过滤器主体上形成的涂层。涂层包含:适于将气态污染物转化为化学良性物质的氧化锰催化剂;和适于吸附化学良性物质和氧化锰催化剂不适于转化的其它气态物质的吸附剂。
在某些实施例中,吸附剂选自由以下组成的组:硅胶、活性碳、八面沸石、菱沸石、斜发沸石、丝光沸石、硅沸石、沸石X、沸石Y、超稳定沸石Y、ZSM沸石、钾沸石、β沸石、金属有机骨架、金属氧化物、聚合物、树脂以及其组合。
在某些实施例中,吸附剂包含活性碳。
在某些实施例中,活性碳为合成活性碳,或者基于或衍生自木材、泥煤、椰子壳、褐煤、石油沥青、石油焦、煤焦油沥青、果核、坚果、贝壳、锯末、木粉、合成聚合物或天然聚合物中的一种或多种。

在本公开的另一方面,挥发性有机化合物(VOC)洗涤***包含被布置成接触被接收到VOC洗涤***中的空气的上述催化剂-吸附剂的任何实施例。在一个实施例中,VOC洗涤***包含一个或多个滤筒,其具有设置在其中并且被布置成接触被接收到VOC洗涤***中的空气流的催化剂-吸附剂。
上述催化剂-吸附剂的任何实施例可设置在一个或多个滤筒内。
在本公开的另一方面,用于处理包含选自SO2、NH3、NO2、NO和甲醛的污染物的空气的方法,方法包含使第一体积空气流入包含上述催化剂-吸附剂的任何实施例的空气处理室,第一体积空气具有第一浓度的污染物,并且使吸着剂与第一体积空气接触,其中在接触后第一体积空气的污染物的第二浓度小于或等于第一浓度。在某些实施例中,第一体积空气包含来自建筑物内部的再循环空气。在某些实施例中,方法另外包含使第二体积空气流入空气处理室,第二体积空气具有第三浓度的污染物,并且使吸着剂与第二体积空气接触,其中在接触后第二体积空气的吸附剂的第四浓度大于或等于第三浓度。在某些实施例中,第二体积空气包含来自建筑物外部的空气。

如本文所用,术语“吸附剂材料”是指可在其结构内粘附气体分子、离子或其它物质(例如,从空气中去除CO2)的材料。具体材料包括但不限于粘土、金属有机骨架、活性氧化铝、硅胶、活性碳、分子筛碳、沸石(例如分子筛沸石)、聚合物、树脂以及这些组分中的任一种或其上支撑有气体吸附材料的其它组分(例如,如本文所述的吸着剂的各种实施例)。某些吸附剂材料可优先地或选择性地粘附特定物质。
同样如本文所用,术语“催化剂-吸附剂”是指具有双重催化和吸附特性的材料。举例来说,催化剂-吸附剂层在与分子物质接触时可催化分子物质转化成一种或多种副产物,并且也可能够吸附分子物质和/或一种或多种副产物。催化剂-吸附剂层还可能够吸附不可被催化剂-吸附剂层催化反应的其它分子物质。
如本文所用,术语“吸附容量”是指在具体操作条件(例如温度和压力)下吸附剂材料可吸附的一定量的化学物质的工作容量。当以mg/g为单位给出时,吸附容量的单位对应于每克吸着剂的吸附气体毫克数。
同样如本文所用,术语“颗粒”是指材料的离散部分的集合,每个离散部分的最大尺寸在0.1μm至50mm的范围内。颗粒的形态可为结晶的、半结晶的或无定形的。除非另外说明,否则本文公开的尺寸范围可为平均(mean/average)尺寸或中值尺寸。还应注意,颗粒不必为球形的,而是可呈立方体、圆柱体、圆盘或如本领域普通技术人员应理解的任何其它合适的形状的形式。“粉末”和“细粒”可为颗粒的类型。
同样如本文所用,术语“整料”是指特定材料的单个整体块。单个整体块可例如呈砖、盘或杆的形式,并且可含有用于增加气体流量/分布的通道。在某些实施例中,多个整料可布置在一起以形成期望的形状。在某些实施例中,整料可具有蜂窝形状,其具有多个平行通道,每个平行通道具有正方形、六边形或另一其它形状。
同样如本文所用,术语“分散剂”是指有助于将固体颗粒以悬浮状态维持在流体介质中,并且抑制或减少颗粒在流体介质中的附聚或沉降的化合物。
同样如本文所用,术语“粘合剂”是指当包括在涂层、层或膜(例如,基底上的洗涤涂覆的涂层、层或膜)中时,促进从涂层、层或膜的一个外表面到相对的外表面形成连续或基本上连续的结构、均匀或半均匀地分布在涂层、层或膜中,并且促进对形成涂层、层或膜的表面的粘附以及在表面与涂层、层或膜之间的附着的材料。
同样如本文所用,术语“料流”或“流”广义地是指可含有固体(例如,微粒)、液体(例如,蒸气)和/或气态混合物的任何流动气体。
同样如本文所用,术语“挥发性有机化合物”或“VOC”是指在室温下具有升高的蒸气压的有机化学分子。这类化学分子具有低沸点并且大量分子在室温下蒸发和/或升华,从而从液相或固相转变为气相。常见的VOC包括但不限于甲醛、苯、甲苯、二甲苯、乙苯、苯乙烯、丙烷、己烷、环己烷、柠檬烯、蒎烯、乙醛、己醛、乙酸乙酯、丁醇等。
同样如本文所用,术语“未净化空气”或“未净化空气料流”是指以处于或高于被认为讨厌、被视为对人类健康具有不利影响(包括短期和/或长期影响)和/或对设备的操作造成不利影响的水平的浓度或含量含有一种或多种污染物的任何料流。举例来说,在某些实施例中,以如下浓度含有甲醛的料流为未净化空气料流:依据由职业安全与健康管理局(Occupational Safety&Health Administration)规定的“作用水平”标准,作为八小时时间加权平均浓度计算的每百万份空气料流大于0.5份甲醛。在某些实施例中,以如下浓度含有甲醛的料流为未净化空气料流:依据中国(China)的国家标准,作为八小时时间加权平均浓度计算的每百万份空气料流大于0.08份甲醛。未净化空气可包括但不限于甲醛、臭氧、一氧化碳(CO)、VOC、甲基溴、水、含胺化合物(例如氨)、硫氧化物、硫化氢和氮氧化物。
同样如本文所用,术语“净化空气”或“净化空气料流”是指以比被视为是未净化空气料流中的一种或多种污染物的浓度或含量低的浓度或含量含有一种或多种污染物的任何料流。
同样如本文所用,术语“基底”是指将催化剂放置到其上或其内的材料(例如,金属、半金属、半金属氧化物、金属氧化物、聚合物、陶瓷、纸、纸浆/半纸浆产品等)。在某些实施例中,基底可呈具有含有多个催化颗粒和/或吸附剂颗粒的洗涂层的固体表面的形式。洗涂层可通过制备含有指定固体含量(例如,30-50重量%)的催化颗粒和/或吸附剂颗粒的浆料,然后将其涂覆到基底上并且干燥以提供洗涂层来形成。在某些实施例中,基底可为多孔的,并且可将洗涂层沉积在孔的外部和/或内部。
同样如本文所用,术语“氮氧化物”是指含有氮和氧的化合物,包括但不限于一氧化氮、二氧化氮、一氧化二氮、叠氮化亚硝酰、ozatetrazole、三氧化二氮、四氧化二氮、五氧化二氮、三硝基胺、亚硝酸盐、硝酸盐、硝鎓、亚硝鎓、过氧亚硝酸盐或其组合。

同样如本文所用,如与所测量的量结合使用的术语“约”是指所测量的量中的正常变量,正如期望的,本领域的技术人员以与目标的测量以及测量设备的精确度相称的仔细水平进行测量和操作。举例来说,当“约”修改值时,可解释为意味着值可变化±1%。
如本文所讨论的,表面积是根据DIN ISO 9277:2003-05(其为DIN 66131的修订版)通过布鲁诺尔-艾米特-泰勒(BET)方法确定的,其被称为“BET表面积”。比表面积是通过在0.05-0.3p/p0的范围内的相对压力下的多点BET测量确定的。

具体实施方式
本文所述的实施例涉及用于从空气中去除污染物的催化剂-吸附剂组合物和***。更具体地,可将催化剂-吸附剂组合物并入室内空气、车厢空气和阴极空气净化***中,所述***可被设计成去除有毒的化学污染物,如甲醛、臭氧、一氧化碳、氮氧化物、二氧化硫、胺(包括氨)、硫化合物(包括硫醇)、氯化烃和其它碱或酸性化学物质。
在某些实施例中,与金属氧化物催化剂(例如,氧化锰)和其它功能性添加剂混合的高表面积吸附剂(例如,活性碳)产生催化剂-吸附剂组合物,其用作用于高效去除本文所述的气态污染物的一体式溶液。可将催化剂-吸附剂组合物涂覆到过滤器主体(如开孔泡沫、蜂窝或非织造过滤器主体)上,以提高过滤效率并且促进可接受的背压。
本公开的实施例允许在低温(例如,在20℃至25℃的范围内的室温)下进行空气净化,而不需要加热未净化空气或催化剂-吸附剂过滤器。另外,用于形成催化剂-吸附剂组合物的材料和相对较低的温度允许更宽范围的过滤器,如聚合泡沫材料,否则将与用于涂覆金属过滤器的较高温度工艺不兼容。
本公开的实施例另外允许在不使用紫外线(UV)辐射或电的情况下进行有效的催化,并且没有光催化化学。
本公开的实施例另外允许形成催化剂-吸附剂过滤器,其即使在长期操作之后也没有可检测的气味。
图1描绘根据本公开的一实施例的说明性空气流***100。***100包括作为建筑物102的一部分安装的过滤器单元104和HVAC***106。如图1所示,过滤器洗涤器单元104和HVAC***106彼此流体联接并且与建筑物102的内部空气空间流体联接,使得建立再循环空气流动路径108。当各种污染物(如VOC)累积在建筑物102的内部空气空间中时,如本文所述,内部空气通过过滤器单元104再循环以使用催化剂-吸附剂过滤器来催化和/或吸附污染物。然后,净化空气通过HVAC***106,可对其进行另外过滤(例如,以去除灰尘和其它微粒),并且可在再循环回到建筑物102中之前对其进行加热或冷却。

图2A和2B描绘根据本公开的一实施例形成的催化剂-吸附剂过滤器200的横截面。催化剂-吸附剂过滤器200包括过滤器主体210,其被说明为呈具有穿过其中形成的空气通道215的蜂窝过滤器的形式。应当理解,蜂窝过滤器仅为说明性的,并且可使用其它过滤器形状。催化剂-吸附剂过滤器200另外包括涂覆到过滤器主体200的内壁上的催化剂-吸附剂组合物。

在某些实施例中,金属氧化物催化剂按催化剂-吸附剂组合物的总重量计的存在量为约10wt%至约90wt%、约20wt%至约90wt%、约30wt%至约90wt%、约30wt%至约80wt%、约40wt%至约80wt%,或约40wt%至约70wt%。
在某些实施例中,催化剂-吸附剂组合物的吸附剂包含选自以下的吸附剂:硅胶、活性碳、八面沸石、菱沸石、斜发沸石、丝光沸石、硅沸石、沸石X、沸石Y、超稳定沸石Y、ZSM沸石(例如、ZSM-5、ZSM-11)、钾沸石、β沸石、金属有机骨架、金属氧化物、聚合物、树脂以及其组合。

实例1
制备5.9g分散剂、27.4g氢氧化钾(KOH)和737g水的混合物,并且然后将297.6gMnO2粉末和59.5g活性碳粉末分散到混合物中,以形成按浆料的总重量计具有32wt%固体含量的浆料。通过将31.2g聚丙烯酸胶乳和31.2g聚氨酯胶乳粘合剂添加到浆料中来获得最终浆料。最终浆料的固体含量为约35wt%,pH为约10并且最大粘度为720厘泊。
实例2
使用聚氨酯泡沫芯作为过滤器主体来制备测试样品。聚氨酯泡沫芯的直径为1英寸并且长度为40毫米。用从实例1获得的最终浆料涂覆聚氨酯泡沫芯。将涂覆的聚氨酯泡沫芯在110℃下干燥并且在110℃下维持1小时。涂覆的聚氨酯芯的洗涂层干增重为1.8g。通过相同的程序涂覆尺寸为408×283毫米的额外矩形聚氨酯泡沫样品和厚度为5毫米的正方形聚氨酯泡沫,得到49.3g的洗涂层干增重,其使用GB/T 32085标准进行测试。
比较实例1
制备13.2g分散剂、6.6g KOH、99.3g聚丙烯酸胶乳和1127g水的混合物,并且然后将331g活性碳粉末分散到混合物中以形成按浆料的总重量计具有26wt%固体含量,pH为约8并且最大粘度为1026厘泊的浆料。
比较实例2
使用聚氨酯泡沫芯作为过滤器主体来制备测试样品。聚氨酯泡沫芯的直径为1英寸并且长度为40毫米。用从比较实例1获得的浆料涂覆聚氨酯泡沫芯。将涂覆的聚氨酯泡沫芯在110℃下干燥并且在110℃下维持1小时。涂覆的聚氨酯芯的洗涂层干增重为1.0g。
结果
下表1概述将涂覆的聚氨酯泡沫芯放置到活塞流反应器中获得的结果。在测试期间,未净化空气料流包括SO2、NOx和NH3,它们各自以30ppm存在。空气料流的其它参数包括25±0.5℃的温度、18%的相对湿度、10%的O2以及150,000小时-1的空速和1小时的总流动时间。表1表明,与比较实例2相比,实例2能够吸附更多的污染物,具有更大的SO2吸附容量。此外,与比较实例2相比,实例2表现出改进的洗涂层粘附力。

适于将气态污染物转化为化学良性物质的氧化锰催化剂;和
适于吸附所述化学良性物质和所述氧化锰催化剂不适于转化的其它气态物质的吸附剂。
2.根据权利要求1所述的催化剂-吸附剂过滤器,其中所述吸附剂选自由以下组成的组:硅胶、活性碳、八面沸石、菱沸石、斜发沸石、丝光沸石、硅沸石、沸石X、沸石Y、超稳定沸石Y、ZSM沸石、钾沸石、β沸石、金属有机骨架、金属氧化物、聚合物、树脂以及其组合。
3.根据权利要求1所述的催化剂-吸附剂过滤器,其中所述吸附剂包含活性碳。
4.根据权利要求3所述的催化剂-吸附剂过滤器,其中所述活性碳为合成活性碳,或者基于或衍生自木材、泥煤、椰子壳、褐煤、石油沥青、石油焦、煤焦油沥青、果核、坚果、贝壳、锯末、木粉、合成聚合物或天然聚合物中的一种或多种。

6.根据权利要求1所述的催化剂-吸附剂过滤器,其中所述氧化锰与所述吸附剂的重量:重量比为1:5至7:1。

11.根据权利要求1所述的催化剂-吸附剂过滤器,其中所述过滤器主体呈蜂窝形式。
12.一种催化剂-吸附剂组合物,其包含:
包含活性碳的吸附剂;
包含氧化锰的催化剂;
聚合粘合剂;和
表面活性剂分散剂。
13.一种形成催化剂-吸附剂过滤器的方法,所述方法包含:
形成包含金属氧化物催化剂和吸附剂的浆料;
将所述浆料涂覆到包含选自聚合泡沫、聚合纤维、非织造织物、陶瓷和纸浆产品的材料的过滤器主体上;和
干燥所述浆料以形成所述催化剂-吸附剂过滤器。
14.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中在约80℃至约250℃的温度下发生所述干燥。
15.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中所述吸附剂包含活性碳,并且其中所述吸附剂的BET表面积为约20m2/g至约3,000m2/g。
16.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中所述金属氧化物催化剂包含氧化锰,并且其中所述氧化锰与所述吸附剂的重量:重量比为1:5至7:1。
