Abstract

In a washing machine having a filter (a thread end filter or a drying filter) for collecting thread ends generated during operation, clogging of the filter is determined in stages (S7 and S8). Based on the stepwise judgment, a maintenance notification is issued to prompt execution of maintenance before clogging of the filter occurs (S9), and an error notification is issued after clogging of the filter occurs (S10). The maintenance notification is performed by a notification method different from the error notification.

Description

Washing machine and electronic equipment connected with same
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a washing machine having a filter collecting a thread end and the like.
Background
In a washing machine and a washing and drying machine, since a thread end is generated when washing or drying laundry, a filter for collecting the thread end and the like is provided. Specifically, a thread end filter (drainage filter) for collecting thread ends in the drainage water after washing, a drying filter for collecting thread ends on an air blowing path circulating in a drying process, and the like are provided. These filters can gradually build up as the collected lint is placed, causing clogging, which can lead to reduced performance of the washing machine. Therefore, the filter requires regular maintenance (cleaning).
In a washing machine in which a user performs filter maintenance by himself, an appropriate maintenance timing is notified. For example, in the case of a drain filter, when water is drained from a washing tank, clogging of the filter is determined based on the amount of change in the water level, and when clogging of the filter is detected, an error is displayed at the end of operation to prompt the user to perform maintenance of the drain filter (for example, patent document 1).

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
In the conventional washing machine, an error display is performed to remind the user of maintenance at the timing when the filter clogging is detected, but the user does not have enough time at the time of the error display, and maintenance at that time point may not be performed. That is, there is a problem that the timing of the erroneous display is shifted from the timing at which cleaning can be performed on the user side, and the user is not satisfied.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a washing machine that notifies maintenance of a filter at an appropriate timing and in an appropriate manner so that a user can easily perform maintenance of the filter.
Means for solving the problems
In order to solve the above problems, a washing machine as a first aspect of the present invention is characterized in that: in a washing machine having a filter for collecting thread ends generated during operation, the clogging of the filter is judged in stages, a maintenance notification for prompting execution of maintenance before occurrence of clogging of the filter and a stage notification of an error notification after occurrence of clogging of the filter are performed based on the judgment, and the maintenance notification is performed by a notification method different from the error notification.
According to the above configuration, clogging of the filter (the end-of-thread filter or the dry filter) that collects the thread ends generated during the washing or drying operation can be determined in stages, and the maintenance notification that urges the execution of the maintenance can be performed before the clogging of the filter occurs, and the error notification can be performed after the clogging of the filter occurs. The user receives the maintenance notification early before the occurrence of the clogging, and can perform the maintenance of the filter at a convenient timing before the next operation. Further, the maintenance notification is performed by a different notification method from the error notification, and a notification method in which the user does not feel uncomfortable can be used.
The washing machine may be configured to perform the maintenance notification via another electronic device connected to the washing machine.
According to the above configuration, by performing maintenance notification via another electronic device connected through the cloud, notification can be performed in a more appropriate method and timing for the user.
In addition, the washing machine may be configured to: in the operation when clogging of the filter is detected in the previous operation, it is determined whether or not maintenance of the filter has been performed after the previous operation, and if the maintenance of the filter has been performed, performance improvement information of the washing machine based on the maintenance is notified.
According to the above configuration, after the user performs maintenance, the user is notified of performance improvement information (an effect of reducing washing time, an effect of reducing power consumption, and the like) of the washing machine based on the maintenance, and the user can be motivated to perform maintenance.
In the electronic device according to the second aspect of the present invention, the electronic device connected to the washing machine performs the maintenance notification from the washing machine immediately after the use of the electronic device is completed.
According to the above configuration, the electronic device connected to the washing machine via a network or the like can notify the user at a more appropriate timing by performing the maintenance notification immediately after the use of the electronic device is completed.
Advantageous effects
The washing machine of the invention can prompt the user to maintain the filter at a convenient time before the next operation by carrying out the maintenance notice in advance before the occurrence of the blockage.

Detailed Description
[ first embodiment ]
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the following description, a maintenance notification of a lint filter (drain filter) in a washing machine is exemplified. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and is also applicable to a maintenance notification of a drying filter in a washing and drying machine.
Fig. 1 is a block diagram showing a configuration of a control unit for notification of maintenance of a lint filter in the washing machine according to the first embodiment. As shown in fig. 1, the control unit 10 includes a main control unit 101, a timer 102, a threshold value storage unit 103, a notification unit 104, and a communication unit 105. The main control unit 101 is connected to a water level sensor 110 for detecting the water level in the washing tub. Fig. 2 is a flowchart showing maintenance notification control of the end-of-line filter according to the first embodiment.
First, S1 to S3 shown in fig. 2 correspond to a normal washing process in the washing machine. That is, in the washing step, a water supply operation (S1) of supplying water to the washing tub, a washing operation (S2) of washing by rotating the washing tub, and a water discharge operation (S3) of discharging water from the washing tub are sequentially performed. In this control, at the time of the water discharge operation at S3, the time taken for water discharge (water discharge time) is measured.
The measurement of the drainage time is performed by the main control part 101 in fig. 1 using the timer 102 and the water level sensor 110. That is, the timer 102 starts measurement at the same time as the water discharge operation is started, and ends measurement at the same time as the water discharge operation is completed. The main control part 101 determines that the water discharge operation is completed when the water level of the washing tub becomes zero based on the detection result of the water level sensor 110.
After the washing step, the rinsing step (S4) and the spin-drying step (S5) are performed, and when these steps are finished, the end of the washing is reported to the user by an end sound or the like (S6).
If the washing is finished, the washing machine judges the blockage condition of the filter and notifies the maintenance of the filter according to the requirement. First, the main control unit 101 determines whether the drainage time measured in S3 is shorter than the 1 st predetermined time (S7). The 1 st predetermined time is a threshold value for determining that the state in which the thread end is collected to some extent in the thread end filter and the drainage time is long but the clogging is not yet occurred is not reached. The first predetermined time is stored in the threshold storage unit 103 as a value based on the water supply amount in the water supply operation at S1 and the detection value of the water level sensor 110 at the start of the water discharge operation at S3.
When the drainage time is shorter than the first predetermined time (yes in S7), the amount of lint collected by the lint filter is small, and the process is ended without maintenance. On the other hand, when the drainage time is equal to or longer than the first predetermined time (no in S7), the process proceeds to S8, and it is determined whether or not the drainage time measured in S3 is shorter than the second predetermined time (S8). The second predetermined time is a threshold value for determining that clogging of the end-of-line filter has occurred, and is set to be longer than the first predetermined time. The second predetermined time is also stored in the threshold storage unit 103 as a value based on the water supply amount in the water supply operation at S1 and the detection value of the water level sensor 110 at the start of the water discharge operation at S3.
When the drainage time is shorter than the second predetermined time (yes in S8), the end filter is not clogged, but it is determined that the end is collected to some extent and the drainage time is long. In this case, a maintenance notification is made to remind the user to maintain the filter (S9). On the other hand, when the drainage time is equal to or longer than the second predetermined time (no in S8), it is determined that the end-of-line filter is clogged, and the occurrence of clogging is notified to the user, and an error notification is made to remind the user of maintenance of the filter (S10).
Here, in the maintenance notification in S9 and the error notification in S10, different notification methods are used. That is, when the maintenance notification is issued in S9, the filter is not clogged, and therefore, the washing machine cannot be used even if the maintenance is not performed immediately. Therefore, it is preferable that the maintenance notification of S9 does not use a notification method in which the user reminds of an erroneous alarm sound or the like, but does not feel uncomfortable to the user.
As a specific example of the maintenance notification at S9, it is conceivable to display a notification message on a smartphone or the like held by the user. In this case, the user can notify a message indicating that the clogging of the filter is progressing, for example, as shown in fig. 3(a) through the application screen via the communication unit 105 shown in fig. 1 by installing a predetermined application program in advance in the smartphone. Further, the maintenance notification can be performed by the notification unit 104 (in this case, a voice unit) provided in the washing machine, and in this case, the prompt maintenance of the filter may be prompted only by a voice message without using the alarm sound.
The error notification at S10 may be performed in the same manner as the error notification performed by the conventional washing machine. For example, an alarm sound may be emitted, and an error display for notifying the occurrence of clogging of the filter may be performed by the notification unit 104 (in this case, a display unit). Further, similarly to the maintenance notification, an error notification may be transmitted to a smartphone or the like held by the user. In this case, for example, a message indicating that the filter is clogged can be notified through the application screen as shown in fig. 3 (b).
In addition, the power of the washing machine may be automatically turned off according to the end of washing when the error notification of S10 is not performed, but it is preferable that the power of the washing machine is not automatically turned off when the error notification of S10 is performed. This is to enable the user to reliably recognize the error notification made in S10.
In addition, when the user installs the application program on the smartphone, the user can be notified of the state of the washing machine through the application screen of the smartphone as shown in fig. 4. At this time, an indicator indicating the clogging of the filter may be displayed on the application screen. In this case, the threshold storage unit 103 is caused to store a value obtained by dividing the interval between the first predetermined time and the second predetermined time into a plurality of stages, and at S8, it is determined which stage the drain time measured at S3 is included in, and an indicator indicating clogging of the filter can be displayed by the maintenance notification (S9) or the error notification (S10).
The above description exemplifies the case where the maintenance notification is performed for the lint filter that collects lint contained in the drain water from the washing tub, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the present invention can be applied to a filter dryer in which a thread end is collected on an air blowing path circulating in a drying process of a washing and drying machine. The method of determining the clogging of the dry filter differs from the method of determining the clogging of the end-of-line filter, and the clogging of the dry filter may be determined in stages by applying a technique such as detection of pressure and wind speed in the air blowing path, and detection of load of a heating device such as a heater.
As described above, the washing machine according to the first embodiment determines clogging of the filter (the end-of-line filter or the dry filter) that is generated during the washing or drying operation in stages, and performs the maintenance notification for prompting execution of the maintenance before the filter clogging occurs, and performs the notification error after the filter clogging occurs. The user receives the maintenance notice before the blockage occurs, so that the filter can be maintained at a convenient time before the next operation. In addition, the maintenance notification is performed by a different notification method from the error notification, and a notification method in which the user does not feel uncomfortable can be used.
[ second embodiment ]
In the first embodiment, the configuration in which the maintenance notification in the stage before the occurrence of the clogging of the filter is performed using the smartphone held by the user is exemplified. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and it is also conceivable to perform maintenance notification using other electronic devices connected to the washing machine using a network or the like.
In recent iot (internet of things) home appliances, electronic devices are generally connected to a network, operated via the internet, or exchange information between different electronic devices. That is, the washing machine according to the second embodiment can use other electronic devices for the maintenance notification of the washing machine using the IoT technology.
As an example, the maintenance notification may be performed by a television set network-connected together with the washing machine. Specifically, when the "yes" determination in S7 in fig. 2 occurs in the washing machine, a display urging maintenance of the filter of the washing machine can be displayed on the television screen when the user watches the television. Preferably, the display is performed at a timing when the user performs a power-off operation of the television after the television viewing is finished, so as not to hinder the television viewing of the user.
In addition, as another example, the maintenance notification may be performed by a vacuum cleaner connected to the washing machine through a network. Specifically, after the "yes" determination at S7 in fig. 2 occurs in the washing machine, a display or a maintenance notification of the washing machine by sound can be performed at the timing when the user performs the power-off operation of the cleaner.
In this way, when the maintenance notification is performed using another electronic device connected to the washing machine via the network, the maintenance notification can be performed at a timing when it is considered that the user is likely to perform the maintenance of the filter immediately after the television is viewed or immediately after the cleaning is finished. That is, the maintenance notification of the filter can be performed for the user at an appropriate timing, and as a result, the possibility that the maintenance of the filter can be performed by the user is expected to increase.
In an example of the case where the maintenance notification is performed using another electronic device connected to the washing machine via a network, the electronic device stores the maintenance notification information received from the washing machine in advance, and determines the most appropriate timing on the electronic device side (for example, immediately after the use of the electronic device is completed) to perform the maintenance notification. In another example, when the electronic device side reaches an optimal timing (for example, immediately after the use of the electronic device is completed), the electronic device side inquires about the presence or absence of maintenance notification information to the washing machine, and when the washing machine has the maintenance notification information, the electronic device side can notify the maintenance of the washing machine by replying to the inquiry and transmitting the maintenance notification information to the electronic device.
In the first embodiment, the maintenance notification by the voice message can be performed by the notification unit 104 (in this case, the voice unit) provided in the washing machine, but other electronic devices can be used to perform the voice message at an appropriate timing.
For example, after the "no" determination in S7 of fig. 2 occurs in the washing machine, the washing machine may send a voice message at a timing when the user approaches the washing machine (for example, at a timing when the user takes the laundry after the washing is completed) using the human body sensor of another electronic device. For example, a lighting apparatus or the like has a human body sensor for turning on lighting when a person approaches and turning off lighting when a person leaves. Therefore, when a human detection sensor of the lighting apparatus located near the washing machine detects a human, the detection result thereof is transmitted to the washing machine, and the washing machine can perform maintenance notification based on a voice message. Thus, the user can reliably recognize the maintenance notification based on the voice message from the washing machine.
In this way, the washing machine according to the second embodiment can notify the user of the maintenance notification by another electronic device connected via the network in a more appropriate manner and timing. That is, the user who receives the maintenance notification can easily perform the maintenance of the filter at the timing of the notification.
[ third embodiment ]
In the first and second embodiments, the maintenance notification in the stage before the clogging of the filter occurs is described. However, at the stage of such maintenance notification, the filter is not clogged, and the washing machine does not become unusable even if maintenance is not performed immediately. Further, it is also conceivable that the user does not recognize the effectiveness of the maintenance of the filter sufficiently, and the notification is ignored even if the maintenance notification is performed, and as a result, the filter is clogged and an erroneous notification is generated.
In the third embodiment, when the user performs maintenance of the filter after the maintenance notification, the effectiveness of the filter is recognized by notifying the user of the effect of the maintenance.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart showing effect notification control of maintenance in the third embodiment. First, in S11, it is determined whether or not clogging of the filter is detected during the previous operation of the washing machine. Here, the case where clogging of the filter is detected is a case where the determination at S7 is no in the control of fig. 2 at the time of the previous operation (a case where the drainage time is equal to or longer than the first predetermined time). The judgment result is stored in a memory of the washing machine.
When clogging of the filter is detected during the previous operation (yes in S11), it is determined whether or not maintenance of the filter has been performed before the current operation (S12). This determination is made, for example, in the case of a line head filter, if the drainage time in the current operation (since the current operation is also controlled in fig. 2, the drainage time is measured in S3) is compared with the third predetermined time and the drainage time is shorter than the third predetermined time, it is determined that the filter has been maintained. The third predetermined time is preferably set to be shorter than the first predetermined time, but may be the same as the first predetermined time. The third predetermined time is also stored in the threshold value storage unit 103 as a value based on the water supply amount in the water supply operation at S1 and the detection value of the water level sensor 110 at the start of the water discharge operation at S3, as in the first and second predetermined times.
When the filter is maintained (yes in S12), the washing machine notifies the user of the effect of the maintenance (S13). As a specific example, it is conceivable that the shortened washing time is calculated from the drainage time in the previous operation and the drainage time in the present operation, and the user notifies the smartphone of this via the application screen of fig. 6(a) or the like. In addition, when the dry filter is maintained, it is also conceivable to notify the effect of reducing the power consumption on the application screen of fig. 6(b) or the like.
As described above, in the control according to the third embodiment, when the user performs maintenance in accordance with the maintenance notification, the user can be notified of the effect of shortening the washing time and the effect of reducing the power consumption (that is, the performance improvement information of the washing machine) by the maintenance, and the like, and the user can be provided with an incentive to perform the maintenance. This can be expected to give the user a habit of maintaining the filter.
The embodiments disclosed herein are illustrative in all respects and should not be construed as restrictive. Therefore, the technical scope of the present invention is not to be interpreted only by the above-described embodiments, but is defined by the description of the scope of the claims. The scope of the claims also includes all modifications within the scope and meaning equivalent to the scope of the claims.
