Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. What has been described herein is merely a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention and other ways of practicing the invention will occur to those skilled in the art and are within the scope of the invention.
The cable laying device disclosed by the invention can be used for transporting and laying cables, and particularly can reduce the labor cost for transporting and laying the cables in the process of oilfield operation. Referring to fig. 1 to 6, the cable laying device 100 includes: a reference segment 10 and an adjustable length elongate segment 20, wherein the elongate segment 20 and the reference segment 10 are connected to each other at their longitudinal ends and are also movable relative to each other. In the context of the present invention, the reference section 10 refers to the smallest laying unit of the cable laying device 100, and depending on the application, the reference section 10 can be connected with the extension sections 20 of different lengths, so as to meet different laying requirements. In particular, the reference section 10 may be configured to comprise one elongated cable tray 1, while the elongated section 20 is configured to comprise at least one elongated cable tray 2, wherein the present invention is primarily directed to an apparatus capable of mechanically transporting and laying cables, and thus any shape of elongated cable tray capable of carrying transported and laid falls within the scope of the present invention.
Further, for the reference section 10 and the extension section 20, the cable trays 1, 2 have a carrier part 22 for carrying the cables, which is arranged by accommodating the cables so that the cables can follow the reference section 10 and the extension section 20. Furthermore, the carrier part 22 is able to accommodate the cables therein and protect the cables from damage when being laid or stored in direct contact with external objects (e.g. being dragged directly on the ground).
Further, in order to enable the cable laying device 100 to lay cables in different spatial areas more conveniently, the height of the reference section 10 and/or the extension section 20 can be adjusted. To achieve height adjustment of the reference section 10 and/or the extension section 20, different height adjustment drive mechanisms, for example hydraulic, electric or other drive mechanisms, can be associated with the cable laying device 100. Correspondingly, a corresponding height adjusting element may also be provided at the reference section 10 or the extension section 20, so that the height adjusting driving mechanism can drive the height adjusting element, thereby achieving the effect of adjusting the height of the reference section 10 and the extension section 20. For example, a lifting eye or hook may be provided at the cable tray of the reference section 10 and/or the extension section 20, which can be driven by a crane or the like, to bring the cable tray to different heights. Of course, other types of height adjustment elements are also possible, as long as they fulfill the corresponding function.
The cable laying device disclosed by the invention realizes that: when laying cables, the extension 20 can be extended to different extents depending on the required cable length, and the height of the reference section 10 or the extension 20 can be adjusted accordingly depending on the required laying height.
In the disclosed cable laying device 100, the extension 20 can be extended from the reference section 10 in various ways, for example, in a telescopic configuration or a swivel-fold connection. Specifically, referring first to fig. 1 to 4 showing one embodiment of the present invention, the connection between the base segment 10 and the elongated segment 20 is implemented in a form rotatable with each other at the longitudinal ends thereof by means of their respective cable brackets. That is, the two cable trays of the reference section 10 and the extension section 20 are connected to each other to be able to rotate in any direction in space according to the laying work requirements, and any suitable technical means in the prior art may be used to achieve this connection effect, for example, a ball joint mechanism or a universal joint type connection mechanism or other connection means may be provided at the longitudinal ends of the cable trays of the reference section 10 and the extension section 20, as long as they can achieve the corresponding functions.
Alternatively, in some embodiments of the invention, the two cable trays 1, 2 of the reference section 10 and the extension section 20 are connected at their longitudinal ends in a pivoting connection, so that the reference section 10 and the extension section 20 can be rotated 360 degrees relative to each other in a vertical plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cable tray, can be extended fully unfolded in one plane, can also be extended at an angle relative to each other, and can even be stacked together in full coincidence with each other (as shown in fig. 3 to 4).
Fig. 3 to 4 exemplarily show a state of pivotal connection between the cable tray in the reference segment 10 and the extension segment 20. Fig. 3 shows a state in which the cable trays are placed on top of each other. Fig. 4 shows the cable trays in the cable laying device 100 in different angles of rotation relative to one another, wherein the middle cable tray can be lifted by the lifting device. In order to support the cable tray in the air more stably, a support device may be used to support the suspended cable tray in some use occasions.
Referring additionally to fig. 5-6, another connection between the reference segment 10 and the elongate segment 20 is shown. In particular, the cable tray of the extension 20 is telescopically connected with the cable tray of the reference section 10, i.e. the cable tray of the extension 20 as a whole is telescopically movable with respect to the cable tray of the reference section 10. In this case, in order to increase the compatibility of this connection with respect to the laying requirements, both the reference section 10 and the extension section 20 can be height-adjusted. In particular, for example, a slide rail can be provided in the cable carriage of the reference section 10 for the cable carriage of the extension section 20, so that the cable carriage of the extension section 20 can be telescoped longitudinally along the slide rail relative to the reference section 10. For another example, in order to achieve the height adjustment function of both the reference segment 10 and the elongated segment 20, the cable laying device 100 may be configured to include a lifting leg 30 respectively disposed at the bottom of the reference segment 10 and the elongated segment 20, and the lifting leg 30 may move the reference segment 10 and the elongated segment 20 up and down.
Optionally, in order to simultaneously achieve the laying length and laying height variation requirements of the cable laying device 100 during operation, the cable laying device 100 may further include a moving mechanism 40, wherein the moving mechanism 40 is mounted at the lower end of the reference section 10 to support the reference section 10. Preferably, the height of the moving mechanism 40 is set higher than the lifting legs 30 without extension (as shown in fig. 6). In this case, it can be achieved that, when laying the cable, the extension section 20 can be first extended from the reference section 10 with the movement mechanism supporting the reference section 10, and after being extended to a specified length, the lifting legs 30 provided at the bottom of the reference section 10 and the extension section 20, respectively, are adjusted to a desired height (as shown in fig. 5).
Alternatively, and with exemplary reference to fig. 2, in the disclosed cable laying apparatus 100, for an elongate section 20 comprising two or more cable trays, the longitudinal ends of the cable trays 2 in the elongate section 20 may be rotatably connected relative to each other as described above, or the cable trays 2 in the elongate section 20 may be telescopically connected as described above. In order to facilitate stacking of a plurality of cable trays in the case of a rotatable connection between the cable trays 2 in the extension 20, the region of the rotatable connection of the cable tray to other cable trays, i.e. the connection 21, may be configured as follows: the two connecting portions 21 of the longitudinal ends of the cable tray extend in opposite directions perpendicular to their longitudinal axis (as shown in fig. 1 to 4). In particular, the connecting portions 21 may be configured to extend in opposite directions with respect to the cable tray 2, for example, the connecting portion 21 of one longitudinal end portion may be configured to extend in an arc upward with respect to the cable tray 2, and the connecting portion 21 of the other longitudinal end portion may be configured to extend in an arc downward with respect to the cable tray 2.
Optionally, in some embodiments of the invention, the load-bearing part 22 may comprise a tow chain, wherein the cable is accommodated wrapped in the tow chain. Here, the tow chain is flexible, which can follow the bending of the cable trays 1, 2 while providing protection for the cables therein. In contrast, as shown in fig. 2, in some embodiments of the invention, the carrier part 22 may be configured directly in the cable tray 1, 2, for example as a stop element provided in said cable tray 1, 2. Such a stop element is able to accommodate the laying of the cable and to maintain the laying position of the cable. For example, the spacing element comprises a longitudinal spacing portion 221 and/or a lateral spacing portion 222. Here, the longitudinal stopper portion 221 is configured to include at least one longitudinal stopper groove longitudinally provided in the cable tray 1, 2, in which a groove formed by the stopper groove accommodates the cable, and the lateral stopper portion 222 may be configured to include at least one lateral stopper rail laterally provided in the cable tray, in which the cable is stopped under the lateral stopper rail without protruding out of the range of the height direction of the cable tray 1, 2 due to a drag action. Furthermore, the stop element can also be designed, for example, as a stop post, a stop cover, etc. Of course, other limiting elements that perform the same function are within the scope of the invention.
Alternatively, as can be seen from fig. 1 to 4, in some embodiments of the invention, the lateral outer sides of the cable trays 1, 2 may also be provided with one or more cable clamps 13, 23, e.g. longitudinally distributed retaining rails, which may be used to store cable splices.
Alternatively, as can be seen from fig. 1 to 4, the cable laying device 100 may further include a lifting portion 31 provided at the cable tray of the reference segment and/or the elongated segment for assisting the lifting movement of the cable tray. The lifting part 31 can exist at the cable tray in various forms depending on the shape and design of the cable tray. Here, the lifting part 31 may be configured to include two sets of lifting members respectively provided at both lateral sides of the cable tray. In the scope of the present invention, "lateral" refers to a direction perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the direction of extension of the cables arranged in the cable tray, and correspondingly, "longitudinal" refers to a direction coinciding or approximately coinciding with the direction of extension of the cables arranged in the cable tray 1. In the two sets of lifting elements, each set of the lifting elements includes at least one lifting hook or lifting eye for smoothly adjusting the height of the cable tray. Optionally, the lifting elements are distributed at both sides with respect to a middle axis of the cable tray. In other words, the lifting hooks or lifting elements in each set of lifting elements are arranged distributed in the longitudinal direction of the cable tray. Here, the "central axis" refers to the middle of the longitudinal direction of the cable tray. Some drive equipment, such as cranes and the like, are capable of lifting the cable tray by pulling on the hook or eye of the cable tray.
Optionally, the disclosed cable laying apparatus may further comprise a cable connection mechanism connecting the cable of the reference section and the cable of the elongated section at the longitudinal ends, or the longitudinal ends of the cables of the reference section or the elongated section with the electrical devices. For example, the cable connection mechanism comprises a connection element which is arranged at a longitudinal end of the cable tray. It is conceivable to configure the connecting element as a snap-on element, wherein the cables are connected together by means of a snap-on connection.
The foregoing description of various embodiments of the invention is provided for the purpose of illustration to one of ordinary skill in the relevant art. It is not intended that the invention be limited to a single disclosed embodiment. As above, many alternatives and modifications of the present invention will be apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art in light of the above teachings. Thus, while some alternative embodiments are specifically described, other embodiments will be apparent to, or relatively easily developed by, those of ordinary skill in the art. The present invention is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications and variances of the present invention described herein, as well as other embodiments that fall within the spirit and scope of the present invention as described above.
