Abstract
The invention discloses a passenger vehicle assistant driving position brake control system and a method, wherein the system comprises a vehicle control unit, an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal which are arranged at a main driving position, the vehicle control unit performs corresponding acceleration control or brake control according to the acceleration action of the accelerator pedal or the brake action of the brake pedal at the main driving position, and the system also comprises an assistant driving position brake selection switch and an assistant brake pedal arranged at an assistant driving position; when the auxiliary driving position brake selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle controller receives auxiliary brake request information of an auxiliary brake pedal, the vehicle controller performs brake control according to the auxiliary brake request information and does not respond to acceleration request information of an accelerator pedal any more. According to the invention, the auxiliary brake pedal is arranged at the auxiliary driving position, and the selection switch for enabling the auxiliary brake pedal to exert the efficiency is arranged, so that the behavior of mistakenly stepping on the accelerator pedal by a novice driver can be effectively controlled, and the occurrence of traffic accidents of the type is greatly reduced.

Background

In the passenger vehicle copilot braking control system, when the copilot braking selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle control unit also receives the braking request information of the brake pedal, the vehicle control unit also responds to the braking request information.
In the passenger vehicle copilot braking control system, when the copilot braking selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle control unit does not receive the secondary braking request information of the secondary brake pedal, the vehicle control unit only responds to the acceleration request information of the acceleration pedal and the braking request information of the brake pedal.

In the passenger vehicle copilot braking control method, when the copilot braking selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle control unit also receives the braking request information of the braking pedal of the main driving place, the vehicle control unit also responds to the braking request information.

The auxiliary brake pedal is arranged at the auxiliary driving position, and the auxiliary driving position brake selection switch and the auxiliary brake pedal are both connected with the whole vehicle controller. When the auxiliary driving position brake selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle controller receives auxiliary brake request information of an auxiliary brake pedal, the vehicle controller performs brake control according to the auxiliary brake request information and does not respond to acceleration request information of an accelerator pedal any more.
That is, whether or not the sub brake pedal of the passenger seat is made to exert braking effectiveness can be selected by turning on or off the sub brake select switch. If the copilot position selection switch is turned off, the vehicle control unit only responds to the acceleration request information of the accelerator pedal and the braking request information of the brake pedal, namely performs corresponding acceleration control or braking control according to the acceleration action of the accelerator pedal or the braking action of the brake pedal in the main driving position, as in the control mode in the prior art.
And the vehicle control unit responds to the auxiliary braking request information of the auxiliary brake pedal only when the auxiliary driving position selection switch is turned on. Further, if the auxiliary driving position selection switch is turned on, the vehicle controller receives auxiliary braking request information of the auxiliary braking pedal, and simultaneously receives braking request information of the braking pedal of the main driving position, the vehicle controller can simultaneously respond to the braking request information and the auxiliary braking request information and control the hydraulic braking booster pump to start so as to decelerate the vehicle.
For the control when the main driving seat is normally operated, namely, although the auxiliary driving seat brake selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle control unit does not receive the auxiliary brake request information of the auxiliary brake pedal (indicating that the main driving seat driver is driving normally), the vehicle control unit only responds to the acceleration request information of the accelerator pedal and the brake request information of the brake pedal, so as not to hinder the normal operation of the main driving seat driver.
The invention also provides a passenger car copilot braking control method which can be realized through the system. Namely, a secondary brake pedal and a secondary driving position brake selection switch are arranged at a secondary driving position, and the secondary brake pedal and the secondary driving position brake selection switch are connected to the whole vehicle controller. When the auxiliary driving position brake selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle control unit receives auxiliary brake request information of an auxiliary brake pedal, the vehicle control unit performs brake control according to the auxiliary brake request information and does not respond to acceleration request information of an accelerator pedal of a main driving position.
When the auxiliary driving position brake selection switch is in the on position, the vehicle controller receives auxiliary brake request information of the auxiliary brake pedal, and simultaneously receives brake request information of the brake pedal of the main driving position, so that the vehicle controller responds to the auxiliary brake request information to perform brake control, responds to the brake request information of the brake pedal of the main driving position, and controls the hydraulic brake booster pump to start to decelerate the vehicle.
For the control when the main driving seat is normally operated, namely, although the auxiliary driving seat brake selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle control unit does not receive the auxiliary brake request information of the auxiliary brake pedal (indicating that the main driving seat driver is driving normally), the vehicle control unit only responds to the acceleration request information of the accelerator pedal and the brake request information of the brake pedal, so as not to hinder the normal operation of the main driving seat driver.

A passenger car copilot position brake control system comprises a vehicle control unit, an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal which are arranged at a main driving position, wherein the vehicle control unit performs corresponding acceleration control or brake control according to the acceleration action of the accelerator pedal or the brake action of the brake pedal at the main driving position;
when the auxiliary driving position brake selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle controller receives auxiliary brake request information of an auxiliary brake pedal, the vehicle controller performs brake control according to the auxiliary brake request information and does not respond to acceleration request information of an accelerator pedal any more.
2. The passenger vehicle accessory compartment brake control system of claim 1, wherein the hybrid controller is responsive only to accelerator pedal request information and brake pedal request information when the accessory compartment brake select switch is in an off position.
3. The passenger vehicle accessory compartment brake control system of claim 1, wherein the vehicle control unit is further responsive to the brake request message if the vehicle control unit also receives the brake pedal brake request message when the accessory compartment brake selection switch is in the on position.

The passenger vehicle accessory compartment brake control system of claim 1, wherein the vehicle control unit is only responsive to the accelerator pedal acceleration request message and the brake pedal braking request message if the vehicle control unit does not receive the accessory brake pedal accessory compartment braking request message when the accessory compartment brake selection switch is in the on position.

A passenger car copilot position brake control method is characterized in that a copilot position is provided with a copilot brake pedal and a copilot position brake selection switch, and the copilot brake pedal and the copilot position brake selection switch are connected to a vehicle control unit;
when the auxiliary driving position brake selection switch is in the on position, if the vehicle control unit receives auxiliary brake request information of an auxiliary brake pedal, the vehicle control unit performs brake control according to the auxiliary brake request information and does not respond to acceleration request information of an accelerator pedal of a main driving position.

The passenger vehicle accessory driving position brake control method according to claim 5, wherein the vehicle control unit is responsive to only the acceleration request information of the accelerator pedal of the main driving position and the brake request information of the brake pedal of the main driving position when the accessory driving position brake select switch is in the off position.

The passenger vehicle accessory driving position brake control method according to claim 5, wherein when the accessory driving position brake selection switch is in an on position, the vehicle control unit further responds to the brake request information if the vehicle control unit also receives the brake pedal brake request information of the main driving position.

The passenger vehicle accessory driving position brake control method according to claim 5, wherein when the accessory driving position brake selection switch is in an on position, if the vehicle control unit does not receive accessory brake request information of an accessory brake pedal, the vehicle control unit only responds to acceleration request information of an accelerator pedal of a main driving position and brake request information of a brake pedal of the main driving position.
