Among them, cats are popular with the public because of their loveliness and nickness.
Cats are generally in a first estrus at 7-8 months of age as four season estrus animals. If cats are allowed to heat for a long period of time and not mated, their hormonal levels will be unbalanced, resulting in a shortened heat interval for the cats and thus in a continuous heat for the cats. In oestrus, cats not only have poor appetite and listlessness, but also frequently cry to affect others, and even die everywhere or go out at home, which brings much trouble to the cat owner. Therefore, most cat owners will choose to sterilize cats. Sterilization can effectively prevent or reduce some diseases of the cats, such as diseases of ovarian cyst, pyometra and the like of the female cats; testicle tumor caused by long-term estrus of male cats, and urinary system occlusion caused by secretion blockage. In addition, the condition that the cats are in estrus and disturb residents is avoided, the anxiety mood of the cats caused by estrus is relieved, and the service life of the cats is prolonged.
However, after sterilization, the sex becomes more mild due to the change of hormone level, appetite and food intake are greatly increased, and the amount of exercise is greatly reduced, which easily causes the problem of excessive obesity in cats. The fatness sterilization cat is easy to increase the probability of diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, joint injury and the like, and the lithangiuria is easy to cause along with the reduction of activities, water intake, urination and other behaviors, so that the health and the service life of the sterilization cat are greatly influenced.
