Description

Method for shortening barley growth period
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of agricultural planting, and particularly relates to a method for shortening the growth period of barley.
Background
Barley is conventionally seeded directly into the field. However, the conventional direct seeding of barley to a field has the following disadvantages: (1) the growth period is irregular, and the variation of the growth period among varieties is large; (2) the growing period is too long, because barley is a low-temperature long-day crop, the barley can be spilt and fructified only after the low-temperature vernalization and long-day period, the growing period of big wheat is very long, the barley sowed in autumn in the first 11 months in south usually can be spilt only in the first 3 months in the next year, the barley can be ripe only in the middle and last ten days in 4 months, the growing period is as long as about 150 days, and some winter varieties can not be spilt and fructified even under the condition of the south. Therefore, a method for shortening the growth period of barley is urgently needed. The existing method for shortening the growth period is that the whole growth period grows under a specific light-temperature condition, so that the method extremely occupies indoor space and is difficult to meet the requirement of large groups; meanwhile, the supply of nutrient solution is ensured in the whole growth period, otherwise, the plants are in malnutrition and die. Therefore, a method for treating barley by light and temperature for a short time and normally growing in the field most of the time is urgently needed to shorten the growth period of barley.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a method for shortening the growth period of barley, aiming at the problem that the growth period of barley is long when the barley is directly sowed in a field. The method comprises the steps of firstly treating barley seeds indoors for a period of time, and then transplanting the barley seedlings cultured indoors to the 2-leaf stage to a field. The method of the invention can obviously shorten the growth period of the barley.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:
a method for shortening the barley breeding period comprises the following steps:
(1) the barley seeds are placed on a culture dish and wet filter paper, and are placed in an incubator for germination and culture for 7 days at the temperature of 5 ℃, and the illumination period is as follows: culturing under 19-hour illumination with illumination intensity of 3500 lux, and culturing under 5-hour dark condition; then sowing the seeds in culture soil of a 72-hole culture tray, performing illumination culture for 19 hours at 14 ℃ and 3500 lux illumination intensity every day, performing dark culture for 5 hours at 10 ℃, watering the culture soil and keeping the culture soil moist;
(2) culturing in an incubator for 22-33 days, and transplanting the wheat seedlings to a field after the wheat seedlings reach 2 leaves;
(3) after 50-54 days of field growth, the heading stage is reached, and after 34 days of heading, the seeds are mature.
The total growth period of the barley by the method is 117-124 days, and is shortened by 9-16 days compared with the growth period of conventional field sowing. The plant grows normally.
The invention has the advantages that:
the invention provides a method for shortening the growth period of barley, which comprises the steps of treating barley seeds indoors before the barley is sowed in a field, culturing the barley seedlings to 2 leaves, and then transplanting the barley seedlings to the field. The method of the invention obviously shortens the growth period of the barley by indoor light and temperature treatment of the barley seeds. Compared with the conventional method for directly sowing the barley seeds in the field, the method has the advantage that the growth period is shortened by 9-16 days.
Drawings
FIG. 1 barley seedlings were treated in an indoor incubator for 17 days.
FIG. 2 is a graph of the jointing time of barley wheat after being treated with specific light and temperature for 22 days and cultured outdoors for 34 days.
FIG. 3 shows the initial spike-drawing of barley after a specified light-temperature treatment for 33 days and an outdoor culture for 46 days.
The specific implementation mode is as follows:
in order to make the present invention more comprehensible, the technical solutions of the present invention are further described below with reference to specific embodiments, but the following examples are only examples of the present invention and do not represent the scope of the present invention defined by the claims.
Example 1
Seeds of 1 barley variety Fubarley No. 1 (from the institute of crops, academy of agricultural sciences, Fujian province) were selected for the experiment.
Placing barley seeds of 2019, 9 and 23 days on a filter paper of a culture dish, keeping the filter paper wet, placing the barley seeds in an incubator for germination culture, and treating 600 seeds by illumination, illumination at 19h 5 ℃ and illumination intensity of 3500 lux, dark culture at 5h 5 ℃ and illumination intensity of 7 days;
transferring the germinated seeds into culture soil of 6 plates of 72-hole culture plates in 2019, 9, 30 months, culturing under the conditions of illumination and temperature of 19h14 deg.C illumination/5 h 10 deg.C dark, illumination intensity of 3500 lux, and keeping the culture plates moist every day. Under the condition, every two disks are treated for 22 days and 33 days respectively, and transplanted to a field at 22 days in 10 months and 2 days in 11 months. The wheat seedlings are moved to a field together with the culture plate, the wheat seedlings grow under the natural light-temperature condition, the field is kept moist, after 34 days and 30 days of field growth, the plants reach the jointing stage at 25 days in 11 months and 2 days in 12 months, sporadic heading is carried out at 10 days in 12 months and 17 days in 12 months, heading stage is reached at 15 days in 12 months and 22 days in 12 months respectively, the plants mature at 18 days in 1 month and 25 days in 1 month in the next year, and the growth stage is 117 days and 124 days.
TABLE 1 treatment procedure
Figure 282432DEST_PATH_IMAGE001
And (4) comparison treatment: conventional field sowing
Sowing seeds of No. 1 barley of Fuzhu in 2019, 9 and 23 days in field, covering soil, repeating for three times, and performing normal field water and fertilizer management. The plants were jointing at 10 days in 12 months, heading at 1 day in 1 month, maturing at 5 days in 2 months, and growing period was 133 days.
TABLE 2 Effect of different light and temperature treatment times on the barley growth period
Figure 717962DEST_PATH_IMAGE002
The investigation shows that the plants treated indoors for 22-33 days have the same respective jointing stage, the same heading stage, the normal size of the plants and the normal size of the ears; compared with the field direct sowing, the heading period of the indoor low-temperature long-day treatment for 22 days and 33 days is respectively shortened from 98 days to 83 days and 90 days, the growth period is respectively shortened from 133 days to 117 days and 124 days, and the growth period is respectively shortened by 16 days and 9 days. Therefore, the growth period of the barley can be shortened by treating the incubator for 22-33 days at a specific light temperature, the plants can grow normally, and particularly the growth period is shortened by culturing the barley for 22 days at a low indoor temperature.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and all equivalent changes and modifications made in accordance with the claims of the present invention should be covered by the present invention.
