Description

A composition for preventing or improving oral diseases
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of oral care, in particular to a composition for preventing or improving oral diseases.
Background
According to the research, dentin sensitivity is caused by the loss of tooth enamel due to tooth decay or mechanical abrasion, the tubules originally covered by the tooth enamel are exposed, and the pulp nerves in the tubules are stimulated by external cold, hot, sour and sweet and the like to generate intolerable ache.
The active substance adopted by the oral cavity product which is claimed to have the tooth desensitizing/anti-allergy effects at present is basically 5 percent of potassium salt or 10 percent of strontium salt as a desensitizer, and the technology is used for full-series desensitizer toothpastes such as famous brand comfort toothpaste, clomazone toothpaste and the like. Although effective, the technical disadvantages of high concentrations of potassium/strontium salts are equally significant, which have a significant impact on the mouth feel, can cause the toothpaste to become very bitter (potassium and strontium salts are bitter in taste), and the salts can defoam, can become less foamy during tooth brushing, can cause a user to feel that tooth brushing is not clean after use, and in addition, the desensitizing effect of the salts is relatively short in duration, which is also not conducive to product promotion.

Detailed Description
The technical solution in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention; it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments, and all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without any inventive work are within the scope of the present invention.
In order to solve oral diseases such as tooth sensitivity, the composition disclosed by the invention adopts a combination technology of micron-sized precipitated silica and paeonol, wherein the specific parameters of the micron-sized precipitated silica are that the median particle size of D50 is 0.1-5 microns, and the particle size of D90 is less than or equal to 8 microns.
The action mechanism of the micron-sized silicon dioxide for dentin sensitivity is that the micron-sized silicon dioxide can block the small dental canal orifice, so that the originally exposed dental nerves are blocked, and the dental pulp nerves in the dental canal are prevented from being stimulated by external cold, hot, sour, sweet and the like to generate pain sensation. The electron microscope is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
FIG. 1: after brushing the surface with a piece of enamel removed from the tooth and a piece of toothpaste containing no precipitated silica, a microscopic image of the surface was observed with a scanning electron microscope and the surface was seen to be mostly bare.
FIG. 2: after brushing the surface with a piece of enamel removed from the tooth and with a toothpaste containing micron precipitated silica, a microscopic image of the surface was observed with a scanning electron microscope and it was seen that most of the tubules of the surface had been filled and sealed.
Paeonol, which is documented to have an effect on desensitization of teeth, is found to have an effective rate of 90% for desensitization of teeth as found in the research of the application research of supercritical extraction and extract of moutan bark, which is an article in the journal 2002, No. 4, page 33 of the toothpaste industry. The principle may be that paeonol has a certain anesthetic effect on dental nerves.
For the composition, it comprises a matrix and, in addition to the micron-sized precipitated silica as active ingredient and paeonol, it typically also comprises a matrix carrying the active ingredient.
Generally, the composition contains 0.1-30% of micron-sized precipitated silica and 0.1-5% of paeonol.
When the matrix is applied to toothpaste, the matrix specifically comprises 2-4% of PEG 400, 45-55% of sorbitol, 0.8-1% of thickening agent, 0.15-0.22% of saccharin sodium, 0.2-0.25% of sodium fluoride, 0.4-0.55% of titanium dioxide, 13-16% of friction type silicon dioxide, 0.18-0.22% of K12, 0.8-1.3% of essence, 0.09-0.12% of methyl hydroxybenzoate, 0.07-0.09% of propyl hydroxybenzoate and the balance of water.
When the matrix is applied to dentifrice, the matrix specifically comprises 0.08-0.12% of saccharin sodium, 0.18-0.21% of essence, 0.09-0.11% of methyl hydroxybenzoate, 0.07-0.09% of propyl hydroxybenzoate, and the balance of calcium hydrogen phosphate.

product population experiment:
the product experiments are carried out in 3 groups of 20 people with oral cavity sensitivity problems, the toothpaste only added with one additive and the toothpaste simultaneously added with two additives are subjected to comparison experiments, and the final data show that the desensitization effect of the toothpaste simultaneously added with micron-sized silicon dioxide and paeonol is obviously higher than that of the toothpaste singly added with one of the active ingredients, and the experimental data are shown in the following table:
Figure BDA0002403126240000051
the test data in the table show that the effective rate of the micron-sized precipitated silica and the paeonol on dentin anti-sensitivity is obviously higher than that of the micron-sized precipitated silica and the paeonol which are used independently for one anti-sensitivity active substance, and the data show that the micron-sized precipitated silica and the paeonol have a synergistic effect on treatment.
Therefore, the invention combines the micron-sized precipitated silica and the paeonol, can simultaneously perform the functions of blocking and anaesthetizing the exposed dental nerves, and has very obvious effect of desensitizing the teeth.
Compared with the prior art, the composition has lasting and effective anti-allergy effect on teeth, and because the composition does not contain high-concentration potassium salt/strontium salt, the taste of the product is not influenced, the bitter taste is avoided, and meanwhile, the foam is rich and the use experience is good.
