Abstract

一种像素补偿电路及驱动方法,其中电路包括薄膜晶体管T1、T2、T3、T4、T5、T6、T7,电容C;所述T1的源极与片上电压VDD连接,漏极与T2的源极、T3的源极连接,栅极与第四扫描信号连接;所述T2的栅极与T3的漏极、T4的漏极、T5的源极连接,T2的漏极与T7的源极、电容C的一端连接;所述T3的栅极接第三扫描信号;上述技术方案提供了一种被合理的驱动后能够对像素进行有效发光补偿的像素补偿电路,以及驱动方法。经过重置阶段、补偿阶段和发光阶段的驱动之后,可以精准控制补偿Vth,避免由于金属阻抗等问题造成VDD差异导致的面板亮度不均。

Description

一种像素补偿电路及驱动方法
技术领域
本发明涉及面板显示领域,尤其涉及一种面板消除像素发光不均匀的电路设计。
背景技术
AMOLED面板由于制程影响,每一个像素中薄膜晶体管的阈值电压(Vth)均不相同,输入相同数值的电压Vdata,所产生的电流会有差异,这将造成面板亮度不均匀。其次AMOLED面板内的每一个像素的VDD电压共用,当驱动发光时,电压VDD上会有电流流过,进而让OLED发光。考虑到VDD金属线本身具有阻抗,会有压降存在,造成每一像素的VDD会出现差异,导致不同像素间存在电流差异,这样导致每个像素发光亮度存在差异,进而AMOLED面板不均匀。
有鉴于此,如何设计一种用于AMOLED面板的像素补偿电路,以有效地改进或消除Vth差异和VDD差异两个因素所造成面板亮度不均的不良影响,是业内相关技术人员亟待解决的一项课题。
发明内容
为此,需要提供一种能够解决液晶面板显示过程中,补偿显示电压使得面板发光更为均匀的方法,
为实现上述目的,发明人提供了一种像素补偿电路,包括薄膜晶体管T1、T2、T3、T4、T5、T6、T7,电容C;所述T1的源极与片上电压VDD连接,漏极与T2的源极、T3的源极连接,栅极与第四扫描信号连接;所述T2的栅极与T3的漏极、T4的漏极、T5的源极连接,T2的漏极与T7的源极、电容C的一端连接;所述T3的栅极接第三扫描信号;所述T4的栅极与第一扫描信号连接,源极与Vdata连接;所述T5的栅极与第二扫描信号连接,漏极与T6的源极和电容C的另一端连接;所述T6的栅极与第三扫描信号连接,漏极与参考电压连接;所述T7的栅极与第四扫描信号连接,漏极与像素的正极连接。
一种像素补偿电路驱动方法,适用于上述的像素补偿电路,方法包括重置阶段、补偿阶段、发光阶段;
重置阶段,第一扫描信号高电平,第二扫描信号低电平,第三扫描信号高电平,第四扫描信号高电平,Vdata写入高电平;补偿阶段,第一扫描信号高电平,第二扫描信号低电平,第三扫描信号高电平,第四扫描信号低电平,Vdata写入高电平;发光阶段,第一扫描信号及第三扫描信号低电平,第二扫描信号及第四扫描信号高电平,Vdata低电平。
区别于现有技术,上述技术方案提供了一种被合理的驱动后能够对像素进行有效发光补偿的像素补偿电路,如被经过重置阶段、补偿阶段和发光阶段的驱动之后,可以精准控制补偿Vth,避免由于金属阻抗等问题造成VDD差异导致的面板亮度不均。

具体实施方式
为详细说明技术方案的技术内容、构造特征、所实现目的及效果,以下结合具体实施例并配合附图详予说明。
图1所示的实施例中,展示了一种像素补偿电路,包括薄膜晶体管T1、T2、T3、T4、T5、T6、T7,电容C;所述T1的源极与片上电压VDD连接,漏极与T2的源极、T3的源极连接,栅极与第四扫描信号连接;所述T2的栅极与T3的漏极、T4的漏极、T5的源极连接,T2的漏极与T7的源极、电容C的一端连接;所述T3的栅极接第三扫描信号;所述T4的栅极与第一扫描信号连接,源极与Vdata连接;所述T5的栅极与第二扫描信号连接,漏极与T6的源极和电容C的另一端连接;所述T6的栅极与第三扫描信号连接,漏极与参考电压连接;所述T7的栅极与第四扫描信号连接,漏极与像素的正极连接。上述像素补偿电路能够被重置阶段、补偿阶段和发光阶段的驱动之后,可以精准控制补偿Vth,避免由于金属阻抗等问题造成VDD差异导致的面板亮度不均。该像素补偿电路的驱动原理如图2-图4所示,包括重置阶段、补偿阶段、写入阶段和发光阶段。下述详。
如图2的重置阶段(Reset阶段):第一扫描信号Scan1高电平,第二扫描信号Scan2低电平,第三扫描信号高电平Scan3,第四扫描信号Scan4高电平,Vdata写入高电平Scan1,Scan3,Scan4打开,Scan2关闭,T1、T3、T4、T6、T7,导通,T5截止,Vdata写入数据电压信号让T2打开,让OLED在极短时间内发光(以至于人眼无法观察到发光),这样OLED有一个压降,可以给S点做reset。此时VG=Vdata,VS=VOLED+VSS,Vgs=Vref-(VOLED+VSS)。电路及波形如图2所示。
在图3所示的实施例中展示了补偿阶段的波形及电路状态。在这一阶段,第一扫描信号Scan1高电平,第二扫描信号Scan2低电平,第三扫描信号Scan3高电平,第四扫描信号Scan4低电平,Vdata写入高电平。Scan2,Scan4关闭,Scan1,Scan3打开,T1、T5、T7截止,T3、T4、T6导通,Vdata持续输入,保持信号写入让T2打开,这样S点电压会由于Vdata给入而增加,当GS电压相差一个Vth,这样T2截止,补偿结束。此时VG=Vdata;VS=Vdata-Vth;Vgs=Vth,VC=Vref-(Vdata-Vth),VA=Vref;电路及波形如图3所示。
如图4所示的发光阶段:第一扫描信号Scan1及第三扫描信号Scan3低电平,第二扫描信号Scan2及第四扫描信号Scan4高电平,Vdata低电平,保持去能状态。则T3、T4、T6截止,T1、T5、T7导通,VDD给入,让OLED发光。T5导通,VA=VG,由于电容耦合作用,G点可以通过S点电压变化而改变。此时VS=VOLED+VSS,VA=VG=VOLED+VSS-(Vdata-Vth)+Vref,VGS=Vref-Vdata
电路及波形如图4所示。那么OLED的发光电流公式如下:
IOLED=1/2μnCOXW/L(VGS-Vth)2
将G,S电压代入公式得下:
IOLED=1/2μnCOXW/L(Vref–Vdata)]2
(注μn为场效应迁移率,COX为单位面积的绝缘层电容;W/L为TFT沟道宽度和长度)
从OLED发光电流公式可以了解OLED电流只与Vdata,Vref有关,其他参数相对固定;而且补偿电路已经消除Vth漂移,OLED寿命退化以及VDD差异的问题,达到了使得面板发光更加均匀的目的。
需要说明的是,尽管在本文中已经对上述各实施例进行了描述,但并非因此限制本发明的专利保护范围。因此,基于本发明的创新理念,对本文所述实施例进行的变更和修改,或利用本发明说明书及附图内容所作的等效结构或等效流程变换,直接或间接地将以上技术方案运用在其他相关的技术领域,均包括在本发明的专利保护范围之内。

Claims (2)

1.一种像素补偿电路,其特征在于,包括薄膜晶体管T1、T2、T3、T4、T5、T6、T7,电容C;所述T1的源极与片上电压VDD连接,漏极与T2的源极、T3的源极连接,栅极与第四扫描信号连接;所述T2的栅极与T3的漏极、T4的漏极、T5的源极连接,T2的漏极与T7的源极、电容C的一端连接;所述T3的栅极接第三扫描信号;所述T4的栅极与第一扫描信号连接,源极与Vdata连接;所述T5的栅极与第二扫描信号连接,漏极与T6的源极和电容C的另一端连接;所述T6的栅极与第三扫描信号连接,漏极与参考电压连接;所述T7的栅极与第四扫描信号连接,漏极与像素的正极连接。
2.一种像素补偿电路驱动方法,其特征在于,适用于权利要求1所述的像素补偿电路,方法包括重置阶段、补偿阶段、发光阶段;
重置阶段,第一扫描信号高电平,第二扫描信号低电平,第三扫描信号高电平,第四扫描信号高电平,Vdata写入高电平;补偿阶段,第一扫描信号高电平,第二扫描信号低电平,第三扫描信号高电平,第四扫描信号低电平,Vdata写入高电平;发光阶段,第一扫描信号及第三扫描信号低电平,第二扫描信号及第四扫描信号高电平,Vdata低电平。
